Before Class
Going into the school I went to my class to drop my stuff off before heading to the other side to her class. She was sitting against the wall with a text book out and working intently on something. Head bent over so her hair covered her face.
"Hey Kate" I said smiling "Did you do the english homework?"
"Most of it, I didn't do the crossword puzzle yet" she relpied writing in another answer.
I laughed and sat down next to her and gave her the rest of the answers. Taking every opportunity I could, I would watch her. With my help she finished and put the assignment into her backpack. I got up and took her hand dragging her up too.
"Come on, I want to go to the vending machines before the bell rings" I said taking a step away.
Kate sighed "Jess, you're going to get fat"
"As if" I said laughing. Kate rolled her eyes and came with me. Reaching the vending machines I got M&Ms and Skittles, handing the Skittles over to Kate.
"Thanks"
"No problem" The bell rang and I walked her to her class.
"Bye" she said smiling, her eyes twinkling in the light
"See you later" I watched until she took a seat at her desk before turning and heading back to my own class.
A/N: wow really short chapter. I had a different chapter two up but it got deleted with the glitch and I never saved it on my computer.
