The Room
The next morning Bridget awoke to a new voice. A voice she hadn\'t heard the night before. \"Yeah, Abel,\"she heard Brian\'s voice. The humiliation of last night of being checked for virginity came back to her and she growled. She was trying to stay strong. She wasn\'t going to cry. Not yet. She was not going to let her spirit be broken by these men. \"I\'ll go get her right now,\" She heard his footsteps outside and she looked at him from the corner of her eye as he entered. \"Come along Princess. Lover boy is waiting for you upstairs.\"
\"I\'m not going!\"
\"Is that so? HEY ABEL! COME GET YOUR WHORE!\"
She heard pounding on the staircase and she watched Brian arch his eyebrows at her suggestively before he left and a man filled the doorway. The man was sturdy and tall. His eyes were dark brown and his hair was just as dark. It was styled in a short fohawk. He was cute she would give him that. \"Hey.\"he said shyly.
He looked at her softly. She wasn\'t much older than seventeen. Her eyes were the darkest green at the moment and her hair was a mess but she was still beautiful. The sheets were bunched up around her and he could see fright held deep in her eyes. He wanted to hug her but he knew that he couldn\'t here. She was scared and she needed comforting though and he would be the one to give it to her. He wanted that type of girl. A fragile girl that needed to be safe. \"Hi.\"she whispered.
Her lips barely moved as the sound came out. He grinned and walked over to her. \"Princess, eh?\"he asked mockingly.
\"He thinks I\'m his pet.\"
\"Nah. You\'re my pet, sweetheart.\"
She stiffened and he mentally slapped himself for being so straightfoward. \"How old are you?\"she finally asked after moments of silence.
\"Twenty-five.\"
Her head tilted slightly. That was nearly ten years older than her. Eight years, but pretty damn too close to ten. \"You\'re kind of older than me.\"
\"Kind of?\"he asked with a smirk.
\"Yeah.\"
\"C\'mon. Let\'s get going.\"
\"How do you expect to smuggle me from here to Italy?\"
\"The same way they smuggled you from a train in California to a plane in New York.\"
\"Yeah? What\'s that?\"
\"Private plan, sweetheart. You don\'t buy what you can\'t afford,\" He offered her his hand and seeing she wasn\'t going to take it he rougly picked her up and slung her over his shoulder. Yes, he was definately going to have too much fun with this one. The men laughed at them as they entered the kitchen. \"We\'re going to get going. I\'ll send you a letter and let you know how it goes, boys.\" They all said goodbye and then the two settled in Abel\'s black truck. The car ride was one of the quietest car rides either had ever experienced in their entire life. It didn\'t matter though. They were both deep in thought. He wanted so horribly to crush their lips together at every stop light but he never did. He kept driving. Until finally they hit an airport. They didn\'t go to the front desk. Instead, they made their away around the back. She was getting more groggy as time wore on. \"Is it working yet?\"he asked softly.
\"What?\"
\"The rhohypnol.\"
\"You put a date rape drug in my water!?\"
\"Had to. It is working I can tell.\"
He slid out of the car and grabbed their luggage. She went to get out of the car but found the door was childlocked. He returned a few moments later and opened up the car. He picked her up and settled her on the ground. She had to lean on him for support and he grinned. Finally standing up he could tell she was only about 5\'2\" and he was 6\'. She was nearly a foot shorter than him. Just the way he liked his girls. This one would last him forever. She was fiesty but shy. She couldn\'t remember how she had gotten onto the plane only that she was asleep the whole plane ride.
----
She awoke the next morning in a cheap little motel. He was already up fixing his hair. \"How long was I asleep?\"
\"Since 4 pm yesterday.\"
\"That\'s nearly a whole day.\"
\"Yeah it nearly is. It\'s only an hour to my house but I was tired of driving. You ready to go?\"
\"I think I\'m going to change.\" It didn\'t take her too long to change from her jeans and shirt she had worn on the train two days beforehand to a pair of sweatpants and a tanktop. She walked back into the room and found a newspaper from New York. Her face had made front cover. Girl taken off of train in the dead of night. Seventeen years old. \"How long will they look for me?\"she asked Abel who was watching her intently.
\"A few months. Then they\'ll declare you dead. They do it everytime.\"
\"How many girls have you taken?\"
\"Two. You\'re the last one. I\'ve been searching for one just like you. A friend told me about Nate. I didn\'t realize he was this good. He has a sharp eye for girls it appears,\" He moved a piece of hair from her eye and she flinched. \"You\'ll learn to love me,\"he whispered in her ear. All she could do was sullenly nod. \"Ready to go then, Bridget?\"he asked.
\"Yes, sir.\"she whispered.
----
They walked into his large house and she couldn\'t believe he lived there alone. The front room echoed their footsteps. \"I would give you a tour of the house, but I do not trust you yet,\" He gripped her wrist and led her up the stairs through what seemed millions of halls until they landed outside a room. He walked in and it confirmed her thoughts of it being his room. He walked to the farside next to the bookcase. He knocked the bookcase for a moment. \"Doesn\'t sound hollow does it?\" She shook her head in curiosity. He pulled a red book out of the shelf and then the bookcase shuttered for a moment before slowly opening and she thought that was only in movies. A hard metal door stood just behind the bookcase. He pulled a key out of his pocket and unlocked it. He opened it to reveal a small room. He pulled her inside. It\'s walls were covered in what looked like a tough material of cotton wool. A small bed sat in the corner of the room and a shower in the other corner. A toliet stood against one of the walls. The only means of entertainment were magazines and a small tv. There were no windows, but there was a video camera. \"You will be living here until I trust you. My trusted friend, William, will be of service to you. He will bring you food and drinks. He will wash your clothes and your sheets. He will buy things that you ask him to buy you if he finds it necessary. He will first bring it to my attention. I do not want you to go commit suicide like my other friends whore did.\"
\"Oh, please don\'t, Abel. Please.\"she whispered frantically.
He laughed softly. \"You\'ll learn to like it here.\"
\"I thought you were nice!\"
\"I am!\" He shoved her farther into the room before turning on his heel and leaving. \"I\'ll stop by tomorrow to visit you. Have a nice time.\" He slammed the door and she heard it lock. The slamming of the bookcase made her realize her worse fears. Everything she read in those horror books was finally happening to her.
