Chapter 2 Ty

“Daddie……….. Daddie.” I bend down to pick up Tashawna. I hadn’t seen her in two week which I wasn’t proud of, but that damn wife of mines hated her and her mother. She made sure I wasn’t never around them. I knew she would be mad when she found out I stayed over Shawna house last night.
“Hey baby girl. Daddy missed you.” I could hear Shawna sucking her teeth from the stove.
“Well daddy should come over more often to see you then.” She looked at me over her shoulder then went back to cooking breakfast.
I could see why she was so mad, but I was trying to fix things and it was not easy with my family and her all down my back. My own family hated the fact that I married Gloria when they all knew I should be marring Shawna. Shawna was close to the family and they all wanted me to leave Gloria. I wanted that too, but she planned on aborting the babies if I didn’t marry her and ain’t nobody killing my babies. Then when they were born she said she would take them away if I left her. She didn’t even care that I didn’t love her or that we slept in separate room with no sex in our relationship. I hadn’t even touched her since the night we made the twins. That night I was drunk even thought I don’t remember drinking and the next thing I know I wake up in bed with her and my life is ruined. But soon I would fix everything and then I could ask Shawna to marry me and everything would be alright.
“Daddie!” Tashawna was trying to get my attention by yelling in my ear.
“Sorry baby girl.” I put her down and she went to her chair and waited for her mother to give her pancakes.
“I looooovvve pancakes mommie.” She smiled when she saw the dish in front of her.
“I know sweetie. No one loves pancakes as much as you and your daddy.”
“That’s right I do love pancakes. Thanks for making them baby.” I pulled her down for a kiss when she placed my plate in front of me. She pulled away quicker then I would have liked, but gave me a look that said “You have one month buster,” then she sat down next to Tashawna and cut her pancakes for her. That is what I loved about Shawna she was a great mother to my child and a great woman to me. Even though I fucked up she forgave me. This is what I wanted for my boys. Gloria never took out time to make them a meal and she never spent time with them unless we went to the park. She only did that so she could flirt with this guy that ran there every Saturday, I bet she was at the park right now. The boys didn’t even call her mom. They probably saw more of Shawna then they did there own mother.
“Are you going with us today daddie?”
“Where baby?” Shawna didn’t tell me they had plans today.
“Mommie is taking me to the zoo because I never went to this Zoo.”
“The zoo is 3 hours away Shawna.”
“I know that I ain’t stupid Ty.” She stood up to get some more coffee. I could tell she was tired because I didn’t let her get to much sleep last night.
“Well do you mind if I tag alone with my two favorite girls?”
“You can do whatever you want to do?” She might have said that, but I knew she wanted me at that zoo with her because if I was at the zoo I wasn’t with my wife.
“Can Tyrel and Tyrone go too mommie?”
“That’s fine with me, but you have to ask your dad about that one.” She looked at me and smiled just waiting for me to disappoint our child, but I wouldn’t do that today.
“Sure they would love to go. I’ll just pick them up while you guys get dressed.”
“Yyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaa.” Tashawna ran and gave me a kiss then ran upstairs.
Shawna picked up our dishes and walked to the sink. I walked right behind her and penned her between the sink and me. I started kissing and nibbling on her neck.
“Stop Ty.” I moved on to her other side of her neck after I left my mark. “Why you always got to do that?”
“Baby you smell good.” She was trying to push me away, but I wasn’t having any of that. “Can’t daddy get a little?” I slipped my hand inside her pajama pants. “Ummm………stop Ty.” I slipped my hand out then made her taste herself.
“You look so sexy in the morning. I love you so much.”
“I love you too, but I won’t let you hurt me to much longer.” She pushed me back and walked over to the table to clean up. I walked over and sat in a chair. “By the way Ty I’m thinking about getting a job. Maybe something part time at a marketing firm.”
“You don’t need to do that. I can afford to take care of you and my child. What is it you need more spending money?”
“No I don’t need more spending money. You give me plenty, but I don’t want to be a kept woman who you pay for and sleep with when you aren’t sleeping with your wife. You pay for everything. I want to pay for myself sometimes. I want to be able to buy my own car and pay my own bills.”
“I can pay the bills and I just got you that Jeep. Ok I can get you something else if you want it. I just don’t want you to start working yet. Soon we will be together and you will be extra busy when the boys move in too.” She looked at me as to say, “Who in the hell said they could move in?” The words that came out of her mouth were different.
“I can take care of the boys and Tashawna and still work. Please just let me do this for myself.”
“Ok we can talk about it later. Today I just want to spend it as a family.”
“I’ll drop it for today.”

“Daddie look at the monkeys. I love monkeys.” Tashawna had made sure we saw every damn thing in the god damn zoo. We had been in this freaking place for the pass three hours and she still wasn’t tired. Well my feet were tired and the boys were too. Tyrel was falling asleep in Shawna’s arms, while Tyrone kept on snoring in my ears.
“Baby I think it’s time to go.” Shawna said after Tyrel yawned in her face for the millionth time.
“Well I’m hungry mommie,” Tashawna looked up at Tyrel in her mother’s arms then looked at Tyrone in my arms. “I want to be picked up too.” Shawna gave Tyrel to me and picked up Tashawna which made the child happy then we were off to the car, thank god.
