The ride

The next day they set off on their journey to... let me stop actin\' all mystical, they got in the car and drove.
Alex looked over to the light brown skinned man in the passengers seat, to see him figeting. \"Jay, what\'s wrong?\"
\"You know what\'s wrong.\" He said.
\"You still aren\'t wiggin\' out about meeting my folks are you?\"
The look he gave her was an obvious \'duh\' look.
She sighed, \"I thought we worked that out last night. \" She smirked as she turned back to the road and mumbled \"Literally.\"
\"Yeah I know, but I\'m still nervous.\" he said.
\"Do we need to pull over and have a little recap of last night?\"
\"No.\" He said quickly, \"I\'m not tryin\' to be late for the first time I meet your parents. When they ask me why I\'m late I can\'t say \'because I pulled over to get a quick screw from your daughter.\' \"He said.
\"It wouldn\'t be quick.\" she said, which got her his attention. \"Look chill out it\'s not that serious. Besides we\'ve got them out numbered. It\'s me, you, Cyn, and Rae against them, not to mention Eli and Adam.\" She said. \"You\'ll be fine.\" she assured soflty with a hand on his leg. \"Trust me.\"
He did, but could he trust the others? Sure he could thier his friends. He calmed slightly. \"Okay.\"
\"Thankyou.\" she said. There was a short silence before Alex spoke again. \"Are you don\'t wanna pull over?\"
\"Alex.\"
\"Just once.\"
\"Alex.\"
\"Fine. Can\'t blame a girl for tryin\' though.\"
