Disapearance

Chapter Two...Disapearance

Nari was in the kitchen making coffee when Mark came down. She put the put down and went over to him. \"What\'s the matter honey?\" She asked, planting a kiss on his cheek.

\"I just didn\'t sleep well, that\'s all.\" He replied, returning the kiss, only on her lips. They continued kissing for a few moments, then they seperated. Mark went over to the couch, and turned on the news. Seeing that it was a commercial, he walked outside to get he paper. Standing on the drive way, he opened it up. On the first page, there was talk about a man that dissapeared yesterday. A man by the name of Jim Walkens. He was a successful business owner, and also a big supporter of the armed forces. Walking back inside, he took the pape to his wife. \"Honey, look at this. They say that Jim Walkins dissapeared yesterday without a trace. Here\'s his photo.\" He said, pointing to a picture of a 54 year old man in a suit with his thumbs up. \"That\'s was his signiture pose.\" Mark said, chuckling.

When Nari saw the picture of the man, she went pale as a sheet. She tore herself away from the photo, finding it hard to breath.

\"Whats the matter babe?\" Mark said, holding her chin to lift her eyes up it him. She quickly broke away. That move was what got her in bed with him so long ago. \"You look like you\'ve just seen a ghost.\"

\"Nothing...It...It\'s just unnerving that a man of that high a stature could just disappear like that. Wouldn\'t he have bodyguards all of over the place?\" She asked, regaining the color in her face. She knew that man, and she knew him well. He was her dead boyfriends business rival. Jack, Jack Tholeto, that was here dead boyfriends name. He made it his life work to make Jim Walkins Empire crumble. Jack and Jim were both in Electronics, but Jim made an underhand blow by striking a deal with the Navy. He would supply them with the latest in computer technnology, even have his own people train them how to use it. In exchange, they would give him thousands of dollars for every new peice of equipment or software they got. He got rich off of that deal quick. Jim also did this deal because he new there were no people that were higher buyers of electronics then thearmed forces. He knew that Jack would never make a deal with them, because he hated the armed forces. Then Jack commited suicide. His life at home was doing fine, but he was losing money fast. He didn\'t want his girlfriend, or actually his fiance, to suffer because of his loss. He had proposed to her that week. Then two days later, he drove his car off of a brdge. Jim didn\'t even go to his funeral. The sad thing is, was that Jack and Jim were best friends. It\'s been 5 years since Jack\'s death.

Mark laughed, \"Honey, this man had bodyguards at very window and door his house, even in his own bedroom.\" Mark said, sighing and putting down the newspaper. \"Well, I better get ready for work. Im going up stares to take a shower.\" He said, taking offhis shirt, revealing his muscled abdomen. Nari walked up to him and gave him a long kiss. \"You know, I\'ve got duty* tomorrow.\" He said, winking at his wife. She took the subtle hint.

\"I guess I will have to make it worth your while then huh?\" She asked, playing with him. \"Go take a shower, I have got to get ready too.\" She said, pushing him towards the shower. When he was gone, she collapsed onto the couch. \"Are you really gone Jack? Are you really?\" She asked that air. Just then there was a cold wind, and she jumped. She noticed that the window was open. \"Damn window.\" She said, shutting and locking it. Then she felt another gust of cold air. She looked around, but all of the windows were closed, and the air was turned off. \"What the hell is going on here?\" She yelled, storming up stairs to check on the windows. They were all shut. Everything was. All the doors, windows, everything. \"Hello, is anyone there?\" She asked, walking down the stairs. She could swear that she had just seen someone move downstairs, but when she got to where she saw it, there was no one there.
