Sisters Dear

Chapter Two
" Yes my queen." The whip cracked across the vampire's back once again drawing blood of which the green haired, black-eyed goddess licked clean. This vampire was nothing but a silly little plaything that she'd pass down to Julienne when she was through.
This pitiful excuse she met at a bar wasn't even worthy enough to kiss her ass and yet he was here none the less. In the dark corridors of the manor you could hear the whip slash across his back. Pulling her gown above her head she ordered the man to lie spread eagle on the bed.
This is what I have resorted to. Screwing blasted bar jockeys because I can't find a mate. Who ever said that every vampire has a true-life mate was looking at this bloody reality through rose colored glasses!
Angered at the world, she gutted the miserable sap and left him for dead in her room. Tying her robe around herself, she left the room to the housekeepers. Blending into a wall, she watched as her youngest sister stumbled through the hallway with her mate.
" I can't believe we drunk the whole thing!" Jase laughed red faced and blurry eyed.
" No doubt daddy will be looking for it in the morning! C...come on lets go to my room to sleep, a…a...and no funny stuff! You hear me Jase."
" I won't 'cause I respe…respe…respeculate you!" Laughing the two tripped down the hallway.
Damn her! I have had no luck in finding my own mate and yet she has men crawling down her door! It's not fair! Then again…
The two were far down the hallway as she began to plot.
The Sword of the Divine…Can it really destroy one of the most pure blooded? Yes, then Jase shall meet his demise.
Near the beginning of the time when humans came to be vampires and other beings reigned supreme, that was before the sword was created of course. The sword of the Divine was created to weed out inappropriate rulers, leaders and mates. Being struck with the sword by the person in question would either kill the opposite person or leave them unharmed. In Jase and Victoria's case, which meant if Merillios were to whiled the sword and strike Jase he would perish. If that were true, then without her life mate, Victoria would either go insane or die. The problem was that if she even located the mystical weapon, the order of command went youngest to oldest, which meant that somehow Julienne would have to be erased from the picture as well.
" The plot thickens my dear sisters. Soon the Greycious crown shall be mine." With that said Merillios left on a search for the sword of the Divine.
Julienne sat in front of her mirror brushing her long red locks, her orange eyes closed in thought as she brushed. A chill ran down her spine as she heard footsteps run past her room. Something sinister was in the air and she didn't like it. Raising the wineglass of blood that had been sitting on her dresser to her lips, she drank greedily and hungrily. She sighed long and heavy as she realized her loneliness. How long had it been since a man had courted her? 60 maybe 67years now? Suddenly she felt very old. She was still a virgin and hadn't had a date in 67 years! Her sisters Merillios and Victoria had most of the men wrapped around their fingers and yet she had no one. She was the middle child. She was always going to be the princess of The Greycious Clan. She'd never be queen. Too old to love yet too young to die. Was she just not attractive anymore? No she could even see she was attractive. Was it that she'd never amount to anything? Not that either. She just seemed to attract the more interesting vampires. The ones that fazed through your walls at night to molest you in your sleep, then to have you awake hot and heavy with them breathing on your throat.
Stressed, she set the wineglass down and flinging her long red tresses, Julienne snorted in a most unprincess like way. His name was Deriious Van Crest, the eldest of the Van Crest clan. He was the black haired green-eyed demon who haunted her thoughts, her body, and her dreams. He was no more than an incubus to her than a succubus to him.
His hands were upon her breast and his lips were on her neck.
" So you've chosen a more dignified approach?"
" Well, this can hardly count as dignified but it is a different approach. I would like to see my mate as she reaches le petite morte."
Turning her attention to the hands on her breast she silently admired at his boldness.
" I am not your mate! Nor am I some filthy whore that you can just screw around with."
Deriious watched his love as she talked. For 3 years now, he had been visiting her like this. Coming in her room in the dead of night. He would watch her sleep, sometimes even fall asleep next to her in her bed.
She saved him from an eternity of madness and destruction in ways she'd never know.
Years ago, an oracle told his future and it was ridden with bloodshed and his horrible demise, lest he found his true mate. For years he searched and tried to find out why his life went so wrong. He found Julienne but never got rid of the eerie feeling that his troubles weren't over.
" Deriious!"
He awoke from his half state of conciseness in a daze. Her ruby red hair fanned behind her lightly. He laughed as he gave her the most heart felt hug he could. He hugged her as if it would be the last time he felt her skin beneath his hands.
" Deriious?" He leaned in and kissed her. The kiss was not hungry and filled with lust; it was loving and pure. When they parted his eyes were misty, and his voice shaky.
" I must be on my way. Goodbye my love." As he dissipated, a tear fell down his cheek. He felt as if this was their last time to see one another. Why? He didn't know, but something just wasn't right within the Greycious clan. Something was stirring, lurking beneath the shadows of this house and it craved blood.

" Nosferatu…Is that what the humans refer to us as?" Lady Greycious bellowed as she floated above the newspaper in her husband's study. The headline in the paper read: NOSFERATU SIGHTING NEAR INNER CITY BAR, ONE MAN FOUND DEAD IN DUMPSTER
No wonder she was murdered! Society had begun their attack on beings such as vampires and yet they let these weird things from different galaxies come here and live? Silently thanking the gods, she began to disappear.
" The moon god: Lair, The goddess of earth: Nee, The god of War: Triferious, The god of Death: Operious and The goddess of passion, truth, mind, body, and soul: Vera, I come to you to ask of the location of the Divine! Show me it's place and for this I sacrifice my sister. May she do good as she has done unto me!"
(Slash!) Blood splattered everywhere as Merillios drove a cross-shaped dagger deep within her sleeping sister's heart. Lady Greycious looked on in horror, murder in her own house! Merillios looked on as her sister burst into flames and died. A light shone above the corpse and a scroll appeared.
" The map to the Divine." Merillios poured holy water on the flaming discharge and watched it evaporate.
Draping a black cloak around herself she called to her servant who had been watching from the doorway.
" Come we have a long journey ahead of us." The two vampires vacated the room as Lady Greycious began to faze away.
"In the name of Vera, let this spirit be at rest." Lady Greycious panicked as her soul was taken to the underworld by her daughter's spell. Lady Greycious only prayed that someone would stop Merillios.

Everyone was tense. No one had heard or seen from Julienne in weeks. The heir to the Van Crest clan had gone mad and his family feared they would soon have to put him down. The earth's balance was off as was the rest of the galaxy. Constant storms in the coast, spikes in the sun's gravitational field, a plague had begun off somewhere on Saturn and the planet had to be quarantined. The gods where obviously angered. Not to mention that Merillios was gone on some quest.
In the dinning room the remains of the Greycious family sat; Lord Harold Greycious and Vera Victoria Greycious. Laren sat next to Victoria. A storm bellowed outside. The spirits were angry and they wanted Greycious blood.
" Father?"
Lord Greycious sat in silence. He would not even look at his daughter.
" Daddy please!" His face turned and soon he was in front of her. His grim features made him look possessed in his black suit. She was lifted by the collar of her blue dress and drug down the hallway to Lord Greycious' room. All the way she bit and screamed for help. Laren could only run behind the demon and his child for so long before she was locked out of his room. The madness had fully sunk in. It may have taken years but the effects of losing Olivia (Lady Greycious) had finally taken over.
" Please let me go!" Her cries fell upon deaf ears. Pinning her to the bed, Harold swiped at her dress tearing it to shreds. Victoria struggled against her father's weight as he rid her of her underclothes. He was grinning madly and laughing like an insane man.
" And so falls the Greycious clan, and with a bastard child to boot! You know what they say honey, breed only the strongest and the fittest!" His clothes shared the same fate as her own as he kneed her legs apart.
Victoria gave up as she closed her eyes and prepared for the sickening intrusion that her father was to administer. His breath was hot against her neck.
" But first I must mark you." As his teeth settled into her throat he reared back clasping his mouth in agony.
" Damn you! You filthy wench! You've already been taken! I shall slay…"
He was cut short as a river of blood poured from a dagger hole in his chest.
"Forgive me…" Lord Greycious fell away from the frightened woman. Jase stood over her with his hand outstretched.
" There's no time to waste! Come with me!" She grasped his hand tightly as they left the manor.
