Haunted Thoughts

Forbidden Love: Chapter two

Hi, Yeah I’m back again with chapter two of Forbidden Love. This chapter I’ll admit is probably going to be a tad boring but that can’t really be helped. At any rate we’re going to be taking a small tour through Toya’s house and such >.> * cough * Well on with the chapter. All characters that are being used in this story are copyrighted to me and no one has permission to use them unless you ask first and even then I may not let you because I’m a little bastard XD.

Toya was glad he hadn’t gotten into trouble upon arriving late to his art class though he did get a warning or two for day dreaming in class. He really couldn’t help it. The boy he had bumped into was lingering in his thoughts. The blue eyed boy felt terribly guilty for not apologizing but that couldn’t be helped now. Perhaps he would meet the boy again and then have the chance to apologize. Toya knew, of course, that this was only an excuse to see him again but he couldn’t help himself. The stranger was simply stunning with his soft looking orange-ish hair and gorgeous green eyes.

Toya had known he was attracted to boys for a very long time since he was hardly interested in girls and would often get crushes on his male friends though he would never tell them. Naturally he never told anyone about his little secret as he had seen numerous times what happens to young gay boys and he had no desire to go through that so he simply accepted that he may very well live alone with nothing but his fantasies.

“Hey Toya, how was class?” Hijiri questioned as the blue haired boy drew closer to their table. The end of the day had rolled around and Toya was waiting for his father to come pick him up as he had promised. While walking to stand by the school gates, however, the blue eyed youth had been waved over by his newly acquired friends who were seated at one of the outdoor tables.
“It was alright.” Toya replied to his dark haired friend. “What are you guys up to?”
“Just looking through last years year book to make fun of how people looked.” Bakari replied as she turned the page. And there he was, the boy Toya had run into earlier that day, although his hair in the picture was slightly different.
“Wait, who’s that?” He asked quickly as he pointed to the picture.
“Says his name is Kira. I’ve seen him around a couple times but he doesn’t talk much. Mainly keeps to himself.” Kuchi replied as he studied the picture.
“No need to rape the poor kids picture with your eyes Kuchi.” Bakari said as she turned the page.
/So his name is Kira. It’s nice./ Toya thought as he gazed around the front yard as though hoping he would catch a small glimpse of the boy. His eyes, however, landed on a familiar car, his father’s limousine. It seemed he had failed to keep his promise yet again.
“I have to go. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Toya said as he grabbed his bag and made his way to the car.
“See you later Toya!”

Toya was silent throughout the drive home save for a few words spoken to his driver. His father had been kept late at work and would apparently be back for dinner though Toya had his doubts. He was used to his father breaking his promises though it still hurt a little inside.
“Welcome home master Toya.” The driver said when he opened the boy’s door.
“Please Jo, I’ve told you before that you don’t need to call me by such a title. Toya is just fine.”
“I apologize.”
“It’s alright. I just don’t feel comfortable with being called ‘master’ that’s all. You are hardly my slave after all.”

Toya was the quiet kind of boy and mainly kept to himself. Though he had told many of the servants in the house to simply call him by his name, the continued to refer to him as master Toya or even young master. Toya didn’t really feel as though he deserved the title as he was just a teenage boy and the people were slaves, just hard working people. The way they would talk to him made him feel as though he was greater than they were and he didn’t really enjoy that feeling.

“Welcome home young master. Would you like me to get you something to eat?” A young maid greeted Toya at the door and set his shoes in the closet when he took them off.
“That won’t be necessary Rina but thank you for the offer. I think I shall simply retired to my room for the evening. If my father fails to come to dinner could you send me a plate as I have no desire to eat at the table if he is not present.”
“Of course young master. Have a lovely evening.”
“You too Rina.”

Toya’s home was certainly a wonderful place with its large kitchen, living room, master bathroom, and library located downstairs and three bedrooms, another smaller bathroom, and den located upstairs. In the front yard was a short pebble driveway and large cherry trees growing in the lush green grass while a set of stairs led up to the front doors of the small mansion. The backyard was naturally much larger and had a swimming pool and hot tub with a lovely surrounding garden that Toya himself had requested. The blue haired boy love all the houses he had ever lived in but he knew he liked this one the best as it had more of a lived in feeling to it, as if it were a real home. It wasn’t as large as many of the mansions had been but that was another reason he liked his new home.

Toya’s favorite room in the house was naturally his own bedroom. It was moderately decorated and always had the light smell of incense as he would burn a small stick each night as he stood out on his balcony. He loved the night sky and would gaze at the moon for hours simply thinking about whatever he was in his head.

Once inside Toya shut the door behind him and removed his school jacket before his tie and then his white shirt until he had removed every piece of his uniform and then dressed in some clack pants and a soft blue sweater. Hanging up his uniform in his closet to the right, Toya made his way over to his desk which was located off to the left near his large Victorian windows that led out to his balcony. Naturally he had homework to do though he knew he was going to immensely enjoy his art assignment which was due in a few days. The class was to choose their favorite art style and, using that style, create a small masterpiece and bring it into the class. Toya, of course, would be choosing real life painting. It was a passion of his and though he was no master he definitely had skill. In fact he had several canvases in his closet that ranged in size from very large to rather small and he was tempted to paint Kira. The lovely redheaded boy continued to float around in his mind though he knew it would be to suspicious and awkward if he chose Kira to be his first painting at the school. No, he had decided to paint the glorious view he received from his balcony.

/Kira…I wonder what I should say when I seen him next. Of course I’ll have to apologize but it would be odd if that was all I said./ Toya thought as he easily zipped through his science homework.
/Perhaps I should invite him to lunch on the weekend to make up for my rudeness. No that would be to obvious./ Toya knew he’d have to become friends with the little beauty before suggesting such a thing, not that he minded really. He was looking forward to having such a lovely friend. The youth had long since learned how to manipulate his crushes so that he could spend more time with them without seeming to be flirting or odd.
/Maybe I could invite him to eat lunch with Bakari and the others. That won’t seem out of place./ Happily armed with this new plan Toya set about finishing the last of his work.

Night had quickly taken over and Toya was enjoying his newest novel while sitting on his king size canopy bed when Rina soon came to retrieve his plate with a small smile.
“Good evening young master. Getting in some reading before you sleep?”
“Yes I’m actually quite enjoying this book. I’m sure my father would enjoy it too…” Toya’s last words were slightly distant as he placed a bookmark in his novel and set it down on his bedside table.
“I’m sorry young master. I’m sure he was just busy with work is all. He loves you very much you know.”
“Yes I know.
His father hadn’t come home for dinner, Toya knew that when Rina had come to his door with a plate of food and a sad smile. The blue eyed youth knew his father loved him, ever since his mother had died when he was young his father was always around for him, at least until he grew older. It was then that his father would work long hours and Toya would barely see him. Part of him resented that his father would break his word so easily and yet he knew that his father was only doing to support him, so that he could have a nice comfy life. He was a good man and a loving father.

“I think I shall turn in for the night. Please tell Karen that the food was most excellent.”
“You have a good sleep young master. I’ll be back in the morning to wake you for school.” Smiling, Rina drew the drapes around his bed and quickly left. Toya loved his bed with its huge pillows and large blankets. He especially liked his drapes, the black silken lace drapes had also been a gift from his father, a rare gift which brought his mind back to the cufflinks. He had received a most annoying rash on his wrist from them and he knew he wouldn’t be able to stand another day wearing them. He knew he’d have to confront his father about the issue and he could only hope that he wouldn’t be upset. Shaking his head the blue eyed youth rolled over and pushed his thoughts from his head, simply letting sleep take over, however, his dreams were filled with a certain redheaded boy with dazzling green eyes.

Happy New Year!! Yes I know it was short >.< I didn’t mean to make it that short but that’s how it goes I suppose. Anyway please read and review. In the next chapter Toya and Kira have a little run in after school. Will this be Toya’s chance to apologize? Or will he simply make a fool of himself. Chances are both.
