*It was just now getting into the evening, as a figure rode a black bike down the busy streets of the city. Hiroshi, the lead agent for NEAM\'s special forces. He was a familiar face when he was around the office, as he was just about each day. Hiroshi was an avid worker, even a workaholic. Of course,... this work involved mostly bloodshed. But it wasn\'t senseless death. Being an organization for criminal justice, NEAM has its own officers, just like policemen. But they also have something a little more. That something, being Hiroshi. Hiroshi would love to take on all the work himself, but he isn\'t the only special agent. The Special Agents handle tense situations, undercover work for example, and much more. There are four of them to be exact, and they all reside in the same apartment building, which Hiroshi just pulled up to. He stood and looked up at the building. It was the second floor in a two-floor building. The bottom floor of the building looked like crap, and that\'s saying something. The bottom appeared abandoned, but it was just empty, and full of remnants of miscelaneous things left by lots of other tenants. Thankfully for the special agents, the top floor looked much better. Hiroshi pulled the bike over to the sidewalk, and back in a short place,... which they could have called a driveway. But it was only really big enough for a very tiny car,... or in this case Hiroshi\'s bike. Hiroshi turned off the bike, and locked it against a black metal fire escape that led up the side of the building. He walked into the main door, leading onto the first floor, and walked right up a set of steps leading usptairs. The room just seemed to glow up there compared to the first floor. There was actually 3 floors, but because the bottom was so bad, it wasn\'t really considered one of the floors. But the apartment building of the special agents had two floors. Hiroshi unlocked a door and walked up into a livingroom-type area. It was a good size, not too small, not to big. There was a black couch that went around a corner to the left of him, and to the right by the door there was a small wooden end table. The room had dark blue carpeting, and plain white walls. There was a computer in the room, off in a corner, and one long coffee table in front of the couch. Hiroshi walked back past an archway that seperated the livingroom from the smaller diningroom. The dining room had a black table, able to sit about four people around it, and one standing up cabinet in one corner. The walls were the same color as the livingroom. Just as Hiroshi stepped into the kitchen, there was the faint sound of a trigger going off. A blur shot past his head and into the wall right above him. Hiroshi still seemed unphased by the sudden attack. Behind him there was a small arrow sticking out of the wall.*
\"Man, you were almost put out of commision there Hiro. *laughs*\"
*A figure walked up towards Hiro. It was a tall and thin man, about 5\' 9\" in height. He had bright violet eyes, and long blonde hair held back in a ponytail. He was wearing a plain green t-shirt, with light blue jeans and plain white sneakers.*
Hiro: Seiji -.- do you have any memory whatsoever? Any brain for that matter e.e? I said knock that off in the house you moron -.-
Seiji: Don\'t be a stick in the mud Hiro u.u,.. you make everything so boring around here. Just be lucky you have all of us to liven things up for ya XD
\"Ya Hiro ^_^ Seiji was just practicing.\"
*Another figured walked up from a door leading into the basement. He had been standing right in the small hallway leading down, watching the blonde man shoot the small crossbow he had in his hands right now.*
Seiji: What Yuri said ^^ *nods back to the new kid*
*The new figure was shorter, about 5\' 5\" in height. He had short blonde hair and fell into his eyes every now and then, and pale blue eyes. His white T-shirt had a design of a bird on it, looking like it had just burst into flames, and his dark blue jeans had cuffs on the bottom that matched the flame color in the shirt. Yuri, still smiled brightly at everyone else. Hiro on the other hand, just kept his emotionless stare towards all of them. His gaze shifted over to Seiji, who had leaned back in a chair, and was now wiping dirt off and cleaning a small crossbow. Then he looked over to Yuri, only to see a shadow looming behind him menacingly. But Hiro did nothing to protect, or even move to see what the figure was.*
Yuri: What\'s the matter Hiro-kun o.o
*Suddenly two strong hands were placed on either side of Yuri\'s shoulders. He actually jumped, almost screeming when he turned and and saw the face of his attacker. The figure towered over the others at about 6\' 2\", and had broad shoulders and a strong looking body to go with the height. He had long black hair that came down to the middle of his back, and soft gray eyes.*
\"Jump much Neko-chan ^^?\"
*The figured looked down at Yuri, who turned back to face him.*
Yuri: Kaori! *smacks him in the arm jokingly* you scared me x.x,...
Kaori: I know, that was the point ^^ *puts his arms down around Yuri, who promply turns a light shade of red*
*Yuri looked back up at Kaori and smiled, his face turning back to its normal shade. He put his hands up, hooking them over Kaori\'s muscular arms and just smiling normally.*
*Hiro just looked back and forth through all of them, then turned and walked back into the livingroom. The others didn\'t seem turned off by any of his rude behaviors, they were used to how he acted. After all, they all lived in the same house together, they had to be able to survive each other. Hiro walked out past the livingroom and up the set of stairs leading to the top floor. On the top floor there was a short hallway, 3 doors along the side, then one at the opposing end. Hiro walked past the 3 initial doors, then opened the last remaining one. He opened the door pulled off his trenchcoat, then as he walked in threw it over on a coat rack by the door. The room was large, and looking very open and spacious. But that might be because there was virtually no furniture, chairs, or other things in the room. The floor itself was wood, with a large blue gym mat placed directly in the center of the room. There was a black punching bag hanging from the ceiling, and a rack on the wall with miscelanous equipment on it for gymnastics. The walls of the room were just a plain solid white. Hiro walked over to one part of the wall where there was a black holder for something. He pulled out the katanas and placed each one on the seperate hooks on the rack. There was one chair in the room that was placed in a corner, and a thick quilt that was layed out in one corner of the room, his bed. He slept traditionally on the futon when he actually slept. Hiro wasn\'t big on sleep, and only did so when his body usually gave out on him for lack of it. So this was them, all the special agents of NEAM. Hiroshi Shirai, otherwise known as Hiro, was the assigned leader of the group. And he was good at that, being a leader and keeping his cool in tense situations. He is also good at barking out orders, and tends to do so often, even with people he doesn\'t know. He gets along with the other 3 members of his group, and they seem to get along with him as well. Hiroshi just tends to seem rather emotionless at times. His signature weapon is his swords, and he uses them to fight most of his battles, considering himself a master swordsman. He has powerful stamina in a fight despite his small frame. Trusting isn\'t a big thing for Hiro, and he just barely trusts the members of his group. It takes a lot to gain his trust. Of course Hiro had a not so wonderful past himself. Most of it having to do with an orphanage he stayed in when he was younger. He had been there his entire life, up to the age of 7 when he ran away from all the hell he was going through there. Most of which is unmentionable, and no one really knows what happened there. When he was only about 10 years old, he was recruited into NEAM after being caught up in a robbery for a store. Ever since then he\'s been trained to fight, and has grown to love the blood of battle. Hiro doesn\'t like physical contact from anyone, and tends to just generally push people away. But Hiro, is Hiro after all. The lead member of an elite group created to help stop all the crime in town. Hiro sighed to himself as he looked around the room. He pulled off the black T-shirt he had on, and walked over to a small end table, pulling a pair of finger gloves out of the drawer. He pulled them on, and walked over to the punching bag over the mat, taking a hard swing at it. He managed to hit the bag hard enough to swing it back quite a bit, but didn\'t seem to interrested in hitting it again. Hiro just sighed and grabbed the bag to hold it still. He kicked off the boots he had on near the door, and walked over to a computer in the room, sitting down at the small desk. He did look down at the keyboard,... but it was a very odd keyboard. There were no letters on the keys, only dashes and lines that were unrecognizeable to anyone who didn\'t know them. But Hiro did, this code was that of NEAM\'s computers. The entire make up of their computer system was written in this slash code, making it virtually impossible for anyone to hack into it. Hiro knew the code by heart by now, he\'d been using it for 9 years. He started typing away on the computer, doing work that really didn\'t need to be done. Guess that\'s why everyone thinks he\'s a workaholic.*
OOC: Hmm second chapter\'s not as long as the first! I tend to seperate chapters just by where I think the break should go. So I have several short chapters, instead of 3 long ones!
