Chapter Two.

Chapter Two.

Alexis tried to hide her face in the wall, only to have herself pulled back by her hair and her face slammed into the cool plaster. She could already taste the blood trickling down from her nose and into her mouth. Finally giving up just like she always did, Alexis slid down the wall. A swift kick to her kidneys and the girls retreated.

‘You know the drill Showon. You tell everyone that you tripped over your shoe lace or something. Any mention of our names and you won’t see the sun rise the next day.’

Alexis raised her head slightly to give a meek nod. It was only a little while to go before her bus arrived to take her home anyway. Then hopefully she may be home before her mother to cover this mess up. Alexis had seen the damage they could do so many times she knew exactly how much councillor she would need. Reaching into her Ale Alexis pulled out a packet of tissues. Holding one to her lip and nose Alexis winced. She didn’t understand why it was always her that got the beatings. No one cared either way. No one ever asked if she was ok or if someone had done this to her. Any teachers that may stop her always believed that she had tripped or fallen.

Alexis signed into the chat room at a little over 9 PM. She was hoping and praying that Theo would be in. she needed someone to talk to desperately. Holding the ice bag against her lip she scanned the names of the occupants in the room and there he was.

Hello angel and how are you this fine evening?

BelowTheEarth
Im bad. Im really bad. God I cant take this much more. I hate my life and most of the people in it. I cant escape the hell that is the earth I live on. I just want to go. And get away and maybe never come back.

Theo sat forward on his seat. They had talked about her life and the pain she suffered on a daily basis but he hadn’t realised that it was this bad. The way she was talking she was going to lose it very soon. But he hardly knew her. He felt a connection but doubted wither t was mutual.

Okay baby tell me what has happened right from the start and don’t leave a thing out. I will help you with this just don’t do anything stupid ok. I need you, I know it sounds daft but you are the only thing keeping me grounded at the moment. Okay. Now what’s happened.

Alexis starred at the screen for a moment. He needed her. Since when had that happened. When had this stranger become a friend? She could feel that they had a bond but never really thought about something stronger then a twisted phone line.

For the next two hours Alexis explained the situation to Theo. He was disgusted with the way that she was being treated. Often offering a reassuring word or apology for the things that she must be going through. It was hard for him to imagine girls doing such things to each other with no real reason. It seemed to him that she was in a place that needed a serious reality check.

er
I can tell you now baby if I was there with you then nothing would happen to you again I would prevent harm from ever touching you again. I would let no one near you and make sure that you lived a happy life.

BelowTheEarth
If you were here I would never leave my house!

Theo laughed at this. It was true. He would keep her safe and never her let her get in harms way.

You can tell me to get lost but do you think that we could share photos. I have this overwhelming urge to see you face.

Alexis stared at the screen. Photos. She had never thought of that.
