Musings of Former Teenage Prostitue

2) Night Sky
Twinkle Twinkle
Little Scar
That rests so ugly
Upon my arm
Pale and raised
Little dots on each side
To see you is to be amazed
Where they sewed you up
And tried to make us whole
And tried to force back that sickly syrup
I wonder if it’s too late for this
Wonder why I yet linger here
And I meet him for that kiss
Love thatmademade such a fuss
And he knows I crave his touch
Because he holds too tightly to us
And the world is moving oh so slow
And the wind is like a whisper
On his lips, telling me not to let go
So I hold tighter
The night sky is a lovely shade of black blue purple
With stars twirling around my lips
And I scream for his love
Lay me down in this bed
His warmth against the bitter cold
And I sink, I sink
The scars are so old
Yet you will not fade
Twinkle Twinkle
