This girl
In this world
There is a girl
Whom all looks smile upon
Blessed in freedom, will, and love
She is and will be until her days are done
She remains in the boyish thoughts of young men
Struggling unluckily
Striving for her favor they come
Why no one knows
Tho noo not love her
THey do not care for her
She does need to be happy they say
But she deserves to be happy
She is strong in convictions
Her beauty in incredulous
Her charm flowering
But her reasoning clouded
I know of this young lady
She deserves my praise but I not hers
I long to be beside her perennially
But she does not wish the same of me
I try to win her favor
But my efforts are in vain
This girl I love must be true
She is not just a shadow of a dream
I have seen her
I have experienced helplessness
I wait
Nothing
Still nothing
There is nothing there
Will there never be no thought of me
A broken strand before me lies
A broken heart follows
I know not the day I will deserve her
But I wait
Diligently and watchfully
Perhaps she will learn to love me
My heart aches to see that day
When I will see the shadow of my dream fade
The reality emerge
I wait
But the day is not set for me
