Not always as they seem..

~Scene opens with Saity still trapped in the spiders web, and Ryu standing there just looking at her~

After a few moments he sighed, and taking out his sword killed the spiders, he cut her lose from the web and caught her before she hit the ground. Sheathing his sword he picked her up bridal style, not knowing why he bothered and continued walking.

~Scene fades then opens to later that night Ryu sits up against a tree in the woods near a fire, Saity is laid on the ground across from him still recovering.~

She opens her eyes slowly, but sits upright quickly, bearing her claws, but realxed seeing she was in no danger. She looked over at him confused. \" You actually helped me?\"

Ryu just looked away, \" Don\'t make a big deal out of it, you helped me out so I returned the favor.\"

She just smiled. A loud high pitched scream is heard coming from somwhere in the woods. Saity\'s ears perked up and she jumped up running quickly to where to heard it, \" Oh no, I forgot about Hope.\"

Confused he jumps up running after her. They come into a clearing a young girl sits crying, she had very long blonde hair, falling atleast to the bottom of her back. She wore jean shorts, and a dark red tank top. A group of boys stood around her teasing, \" Without that damn sister of yours you can\'t do anything. Next time you won\'t turn me down for a date!\" One of the boys goes to kick her but Saity growls at them and jumps in front of her, scaring them away. As soon as they were gone she sat next to Hope, her ears, claws and tail dissapearing. She held her close, \" I\'m sorry Hope, I never should have left you alone.\"

Ryu sat done silently near them, not having a clue what ws going on.

Hope wiped her eyes, \" \'s ok.\" She opened her eyes, she had icy blue eyes. She looked over at Ryu, \"...Who\'s he?\" She backed away a bit.

Saity smiled, \" Hope this is Ryu, Ryu this is my little sister Hope, shes only seven so be nice please.\" She looked at Hope, \" It\'s ok he\'s a friend.\"

Ryu smiled a little, not a very convincing smile. \" Hi..\"

Hope just looked at Siaty a little affraid, \" You sure?\" Saity nodded, but Hope still didn\'t look convinced.

~Scence fades, and comes back into view, the same clearing, Saity and Ryu sit across from each other, Hope is asleep in the tall grass in between them~

Ryu decided to speak up, \" So what was that all about?\"

She sighed, \" Boys from a village near by have been after he for awhile, but with me around they can\'t get near her, she doesn\'t like them. So they took adavantage of me being gone...\"

He nodded, \" She seems so affraid of me...is it because of them?\"

She shook her head, \" No...she\'s always been affraid of men...\"

Ryu looked at her, \" But...why? Not all guys are that mean..\"

She nodded, \" I know, but the first one she meet...well...he killed our mom, and her bestfriend...and just about everyone else in our village...and she knew him really well..\"

Wow I feel so stupid seeing all the errors I\'ve had to go back and correct..glade I remembered this story.
