In The Woods
Rydia walked on, as she heard Dusin following her. She stopped, and turned around, as if nothing had happened. She pulled out her dagger, waiting for an attack, and turned around so that she was facing Dusin.
“Whoa, calm down...Remember our deal before? I don’t pull anything on you, you don’t pull anything on me?”
Rydia put her dagger ban itn it’s sheath once again, and looked at Dusin quizzically. Why had he followed her?? Yet as the thoughts went trough her mind, she began to look at him again, seeing the definition of his muscles. When she realized that her eyes had lingered on his strong chest for a few seconds to long, she glanced back up at Dusin.
“Why did you follow me? You would’ve won the tournament” Rydia asked curiously.
“I wanted to know why you walked away....”
At that comment, Rydia looked at him, then turned and began walking away again. She heard Dusin’s light foot steps behind her. She turned around again, and looked at him fierce fully. “It doesn’t matter why I left. You should’ve stayed..” Her voice trailed off, and she quickly turned away.
There was something in her voice that Dusin couldn’t understand. She seemed hurt that he had followed her...He couldn’t help but wonder why.
She walked further away, and he followed her. This time when he caught up, he grabbed a hold of her wrist and gently turned her around. “Why did you leave...was it something I did?”
Rydia looked at him, and was almost afraid to answer, but did any way. “I left because everything in me, told me that I couldn’t fight you. But now that you’re here with me, everything in me is telling me not to let you go..” Her face was now turning a crimson red, as she turned again, and walked deeply into the woods.
When she had walked about 20 feet, she could still hear Dusin’s soft footsteps behind her. This time when she turned around, she found him right behind her. Slowly, he put his arms around her waist, gently pulling her closer. She rested her forehead against his shoulder wondering what was happening. She had never fallen in love, and she never really wanted to...why now?
She wrapped her arms around his neck, and pressed her body lightly against his. Dusin ran his hand through her hair, and rested his hand on the small of her back. He lifted up the back of her shirt a little, and let his hand touch her bare back. Rydia’s nails grazed his neck, and she desperately wanted to kiss him. But instead of giving into her temptations, she pulled away and smiled, then whispered something into his ear.
