Thought to Action in Nothin Flat

Anna knew her dad kept guns in the house. She had always known that she would die on one of the best days of her life. Today hadn’t been really good. It was one of those days. The kind that you don’t really have to think about. The kind that were just a breeze and weren’t good or bad to an extreme.
She turned the metal weapon over in her hand. It was Christmas break and she had just gotten back from the party for the dance team she had attended. She had asked her crush to dance but it wasn’t what she wanted. The gun held comfort.
“One shot and it could all be gone.” She thought. “One shot and I could finally go else where.”
Her parents were asleep. As was her older sister. Anna and her sister looked a lot alike, they could have been twins, but Anna had recently dyed her hair red.
Anna grabbed her jacket and decided if she was going down in a huge way. She was going to do it right. She tucked the gun in her belt. She had already set the safety, so she felt safe for the time being. She grabbed her dad’s hunting knife, and stuck it in her jacket.
She left her goodbye notebook on her made bed. She headed out of her house at 12:30 am. She headed toward the only place that ever made her feel safe, Winiford Park
“Here I go.” Was all she could think dialing her crush’s number on her cell. He picked up the phone on the second ring.
“There is a park off of Lake Forest. Meet me there we need to talk.” Click she hung up on him. She knew he was going to come.
She dialed next another number that wasn’t so familiar. Jason. She knew him from school and they talked a bit so she had his number.
“Just aer fer friend to be there for me.” Anna thought bitterly. Jason too picked up on the second ring, only he sounded tired. It didn’t matter to Anna though. She told him the same as she had told her crush.
“Yeah okay.” Was Jason’s reply in a sleep deprived tone.
Anna was finally going to get what she wanted. She was going down with two one the most known seniors at the high school. And it wasn’t going to be pretty.
