Hope you guys like this. Sorry but i can\'t resist a cliffie!

A loud clap of thunder brought Sean streamlining back to reality where he teetered on the edge of life and death, if you could call the time Sean was living in now a life. Sean had never felt that way before, so in love, if such a thing existed. Before HER, before Rhysenn he didn’t think it did. But now, now he didn’t know what to believe. Having Rhysenn in his world had turned and twisted his life until it could barley be recognized as life anymore. The constant ups and downs and the clincher, she never eknewknew what she did to him. How she made him feel. Oh, sure he’d longed to tell her since the first day they met, since he touched her and felt that electric shock that everyone goes on about but he couldn’t. “It wasn’t meant to be,” she told him once. It hurt, it hurt like nothing that had ever hurt him before and he couldn’t take it. Now she was dead and he couldn’t live with her or without her. He gathered every once of courage he possessed as he heard the police sirens coming nearer and saw the flashing lights that reached the end of the bridge. “Stop.” He heard them call, though he couldn’t really hear them, all he could hear was the sound of her voice reverberating in his mind.
With that Sean bent slightly at the leg, he saw the police leaping from their cars and running towards him, they needed him for only he knew the tale. Though he saw them running towards him he could see her face, smiling, reflected over it all. That would be how he would always remember her, smiling, not in torment like her last few minutes of life. He would remember her and love her until the end of his life, which would only last a few moments more. With that he bid the gray world goodbye and dived from the edge of the bridge. He felt the nearest cop reach towards him and felt the mans fingers brush against his skin in an attempt to pull him back to the surface. It was a vain attempt, Sean always got what he wanted even though sometimes it was more then he bargained for. Sean felt the cool air rushing past his body as it plummeted towards the icy water and pointy rocks below, the first thing he felt in a long time. His life flashed before his eyes but he found that his life consisted of only Rhysenn. If only he hadn’t gone back, he could have left, could have lived his life, but no he followed his obtuse heart.
For the rest of the day after he had dropped Rhysenn off he could think off nothing but the strange girl. Why would she attempt suicide if she were granted everything she wanted in that rich family? He’d grown up in what many people would call a dysfunctional family but somehow he’d managed to get through it. His father had left his mother with him and his two younger sisters when he was only six years old. Packed up and left without a word while his mother went to the grocery store for food for dinner. After that she had lost her job and they had lived on the street for quite a while. Sean had learned the value of work, dignity, and honor. But Rhysenn, Rhysenn had been granted everything since she was a young child. Sean began to wonder if perhaps there was more to this woman then meets the eye. There must be, he decided, after all why else would she be able to him him feel as though he didn’t know who or where he was. Sean became determined to find out what it was to this girl that made him feel that way, what it was that made her miserable. Sean just didn’t know how.
The days passed by without any solution coming to mind. Sean attended work daily at the local record company completing his ritualistic job of labeling tracks and the occasional DJ-ing. But there was something different about these days since he met Rhysenn because at the end of each day couldn’t seem to remember what he’d heard, seen, or done. All he could think about was that he had to find a way to know this amazing girl. A way to know her completely, like he’d never known anyone. On the third day after Sean met Rhysenn a solution presented itself in a most unlikely form. He was on his way to work, driving down seaside way when a dog crossed his path; he slammed on the brakes, screeching to a halt only inches away from ending the dogs fragile life. The dog’s life had lied in his hands just as Rhysenn’s had that rainy night and only feet away from where he’d saved her life. He instantly turned onto Listless drive. He had to see her, that was the only way. He then realized exactly how simple it had been but he knew not why he made it so complicated.
The solution had been right in front of his face the whole time. As he pulled up the majestic black iron gates he pulled the car to a silent but abrupt stop. A million questions began running through Sean’s mind making him evermore doubtful. Would the guard even open the gates for him? What if she laughed at him and sent him away like he was nothing to her? What if he was nothing to her? Sean pondered each question but never arriving at solutions because thinking of her made his mind turn to mush. When Sean finally gathered the courage to drive up to the gate it was already dark. He was sure her family would not appreciate the late call and frown on him before they even knew him. He sighed and hit his head against the dashboard drawing a small trickle of blood just to the right of his temple. Sean backed the car into the nearby cold-a-sack and turned his pick-up toward his apartment.
He drove in utter silence; Sean didn’t even want the radio to interrupt his thoughts. He thought not only about what a complete jackass he was but also about the messages that were sure to be on his machine from Jackie. Jackie was his ever-prevalent boss. When she scolded him she would wave her short fat fingers and her blue-gray hair would bounce about making her look even more like a peacock then she normally did. He was sure to see the plump little woman waiting for him in the labeling room early tomorrow morning. He had planned on returning to Rhysenn’s house tomorrow but knew he could not afford to miss another day of work. Sean decided that he’d visit her this weekend in order to avoid “staggering”, as Jackie would call missing work, again.
He continued the drive thinking about what he’d have for dinner tonight. Living as a college bachelor was sometimes harder then it looked. He was hungry but couldn’t cook. It was times like these that made him miss his mom’s home cooking, well at least what she would cook when they could afford to buy food and a place to cook it in. But He had long ago left behind that life. He’d left his family when he was 16 he couldn’t take it anymore, they were holding him back and he was just costing them money. Sean had left them, three women, just like his father; it was for the better and he knew it. Though Sean had to admit that he still wished they were with him now but Sean would never see them again. Who knew where they were living, in a box, in a shack, who knows maybe they won the lottery and were rich now. Sean’s thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the sound of a car horn behind him… the light was green now.
Sean arrived at the grocery store nearby his accommodations and grabbed a cart. He strolled the cold aisles looking at the wrapped turkeys that many would buy for Easter dinner and soon realized he’d have no idea what to do with a turkey. Turkey was a luxury his family never could afford. He walked further down the aisle and settled on a few packages of hot pockets and a case of soda. Settled with his meal he proceeded to the checkout counter. There was only one as it was a small grocery store. So small many would even call it a convenience store, not Sean however.
A young girl was working the counter; looking up at him she smiled, batting her eyes flirtatiously. She began to ring him up but stopped before charging for the soda, “You’re on your own huh? I can always tell, I mean hot pockets aren’t exactly a well balanced dinner.” He hadn’t expected her to speak to him and replied with a startled “Well, uh...yeah I guess you could say that.” She finished ringing him up and told him his total. He slipped a ten-dollar bill out of his well-used wallet and handed it to her. Their eyes met and he noticed how pretty she was, granted though no pre pretty as Rhysenn.
Her blond shoulder length hair teased her chin and framed her freckled face. Her eyes sparkled like spring water but didn’t pierce through him like Rhysenn’s. Rhysenn’s eyes seemed to see straight into his soul and know exactly what he was thinking. “Hey I get off here in a few minutes…” she began, breaking eye contact “what say you wait for me and I’ll cook you a proper meal.” She looked as startled as he was by the invitation. “Sure, I’d like that.” Sean replied. “Great, why don’t you go pick out a 5 pound defrosted turkey and bring it back here, by then I ought to be done. My treat, I get a free one for Easter as an employee benefit.” He set off toward where he’d looked at the turkeys.
She was cute, he admitted to himself, and picked up a turkey. He set it on the scale carelessly. The scale slid to the one side and tipped the turkey with a light plop onto the green tile floor. Sean quickly looked around to see that no one had seen the incident and then quickly picked it up, wiped it off, and set it back into the bin of turkeys. It was then that he noticed the weight of each turkey printed boldly on the wrapper. He picked out one that said five pounds and strode quickly toward the counter. The girl was waiting for him nearby where she’d already picked up a few extras, like stuffing. “By the way what’s your name?” She asked him. “Sean, and yours?” he asked. “Marcy.” She replied curtly.
They set off towards his car and he opened the passenger side door for her, quickly sweeping the magazines from the seat into the back. She however saw the sweep of his arm and after climbing into the car reached to the back seat to pick one up. When he climbed into the driver’s seat he turned to see that she had her seatbelt on and instead saw a picture of a young nude woman staring back. “You keep porno mags in your car?” Marcy asked him. He snatched it away and threw it to backback seat turning redder by the second. “It’s ok,” she said “so do I.” With that she smiled at him and they were off. He drove the few blocks toward his apartment and pulled into the driveway. “You live in a movie theater?” she looked hesitant. “Well above it actually.” He said.
He led her up the iron stairs to his bare apartment and opened the door. She set the groceries on the table and began on the turkey. “Did you just move in?” she asked. “Yeah, I’m going to college here when semester begins.” He explained “Me too.” She popped the turkey into the oven and sat next to him on the couch. “Sorry. Turkeys take a while to cook but I wasn’t going to use it otherwise.” She said. “That’s ok, why wouldn’t you have used it?” He asked. “Well why cook a turkey for only one person?”
“You don’t live with anyone?”
“No, I left my family back in Montana… where the cow’s outnumber the people.” At that they both laughed. He looked at her and they both ceased. He leaned into kiss her… it had been so long since he’d had anything physical. After all Sharon, his ex-girlfriend, had been what many would call a prude. She met him halfway. Their lips pressed against one another’s with a fierce intensity. At that moment he knew that both of them just needed the physical aspect of a relationship right now. He opened his mouth allowing her entrance to it and running his tongue along her lips caressing them open. Marcy’s lips complied with his will and he let his tongue wander inside her mouth. He searched it, every ridge and catacomb of her mouth. She tasted offeeffee and scones, a rather delectable taste. After a long time he tore his mouth from hers, “How long did you say that turkey would take to cook?” he asked her. “Oh at least a couple of hours, we have plenty of time.” She replied.
