My most excellent adventure isn't one that most people would class
as an adventure, in fact I don't even class it as one. I class it
more as something that I needed to do to grow as a person.

Waking up at four in the morning just to get a bus, a train and a
coach on my own to London from the middle of no where wouldn't seem
like much of a challenge. Unless of course you're not good on
transport of that kind. I dithered over going for it for months, and
the day before I happened to be still wondering if it was a good
idea. But once it actually started, and now that it has been over a
year, I found that it had been one of the most terrifying and
exhilarating adventures of my life.

My heart pounded when I ended up in London and had to navigate the
Tube, I may have been on them a lot when younger, but always had been
on with parents or grandparents or other members of the family.

The speed of the Underground pounds through the rail tracks,
vibrating through my feet. Getting off at the right stop is vital,
but I managed it. I end up getting carried away with the rush of the
other patrons, almost forced out into the blazing sun. Shielding My
eyes, I look for where I meant to be going. I couldn't help but feel
hopeless until I caught a glimpse of the one shop I had been looking
for. Purple flowers crawl up the wall of the place that is right in
front of me, taking a picture to mark the occasion. Continuing on, I
get to my actual destination. Few people trickle down into the
basement where the meeting is taking place. Following them, I look
around in awe. Bodies mill around, all here for the same reason as
me.

I fall into an easy chatter, blending in with the many different
people around, waiting for my turn to go through and see what there
is there, wandering around and listening to the stories.

After, I feel relieved. Amazed I made it through it without a hint
of a panic attack. Gripping at my camera like a life line, I go back
through the journey the way I came, feeling better about the whole
experience. I can't wait to do it again, and hope the time comes
soon.
