Part Twenty-One

The gang finally left the desert and entered a bustling city. They were all hungry so they decided to split up and go to different restaurants. They didn’t want to eat at the same place together.

An-chan dragged Steve into a hotel and got them a room. The second they stepped inside, he had her pressed up against the door. His lips we on her and hands were everywhere. She slid the top part of his uniform from his shoulders and rained kisses on his exposed chest. They walked together towards the bed and fell to the mattress. She sat up over him and pulled her t-shirt over her head and tossed it aside. She reached behind her back and unclipped her bra.

At first, she had been so nervous about actually doing these kinds of things with him but she didn’t care anymore. She wanted him with her entire being.

Steve ran his hands over her hips to around her back and pulled her down to kiss her again. He pulled her flush against his body and the skin to skin contact made him hiss in pleasure. She started to purr. He felt her body shifting over his and it was driving him mad. He moved one of his hands to her breasts and gently stroked her nipple. She shivered against him and rubbed herself more against him.

He wasn’t going to last much longer if she kept moving like that.

He almost stopped breathing when one of her hands started rubbing his erection through the material of his pants. His thoughts were focussed only on her and the soft mound in his hand. He started to move against her hand and she squeezed him just a little bit.

An-chan’s tail was twitching in anticipation. She could feel his exact length with her hand and couldn’t wait to get a taste of it, couldn’t wait for that to be inside her. She felt as though she could climax from just the thought of it. Oh Gods and Goddesses in Heaven...she wanted him to touch her where she ached most. But he was still young. She would have to ease him into the act.

And they would both enjoy every minute of it.

Jen had been really quiet since the incident with the Gargoyles. She hadn’t eaten much at dinner and had even followed Ray to a hotel. She sat on her bed with her legs crossed Indian style. He was trying not to watch her but she probably knew. He was about to get ready to sleep when she finally said something.

“Thank you.”

“For what?”

“For saving me.”

“Is that what’s been bothering you this whole time?”

“Well...I was trying to decide whether or not I should stop disliking you.”

He felt...hopeful at her words.

“You seemed to be really concerned about me.” She blushed as she spoke, staring down at her bed.

Did he dare tell her that he liked her? //Tell her, Master.// Lilith’s voice rang in his mind. If he didn’t take the leap now, would he have another chance in the future? What if he fell and couldn’t pick himself up this time? He had been longing to find someone...no.

This whole time it was her he was looking for, not just someone.

He stood from his bed and sat down on hers. She looked up hesitantly. When she did, he pressed his lips to hers. Her eyes widened briefly before fluttering closed. He was seriously starting to fall for this woman. But would she accept what he was? He pulled back from her and blue eyes were a tinge darker than before.

“I want to show you something.” She nodded silently. “Lilith, Human form.”

Jen watched the Demon she saw that day appear again. So she hadn’t been imagining her. She looked like a little girl.

“This is Lilith.” The Demon floated over to her, sniffing her hair before smiling. “She’s my daughter.”

Now that was news. “How...is that...?” She watched as the Demon inspected the room.

“I’m not Human. Well...I’m half. And I’m half Demon. When I was a kid, my mom was kidnapped and brought to Hell by a Demon, the one that impregnated her with me. She was brought back and gave birth to my younger brother. We hunted Demons together. One night, Demons broke into our house and dragged all three of us to Hell. They slaughtered my mom and my brother and I we supposed to be use for their army. We played along until we got the upper hand and fought our way out. My brother sacrificed himself to help me out of there. When I came back to the world, I became an actor and used my powers to help me along the way. Years later, Lilith appeared to me. She was scared and looked about ready to die. Because of my Demon-hunting past, she was viewed as an outcast. At first I didn’t want anything to do with her. But realizing we both had nothing left, I took pity on her. Unfortunately, the only way for a Demon to live forever on Earth is if they bond with a Human or another Race that lives here. So she did. I don’t like her calling me Master but she won’t stop and I’m tired of fighting that losing battle.”

Jen couldn’t believe her ears. And the fact that he was trusting her with something so huge and important. She lunged forward and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Thank you for putting so much faith in me.” She pulled back and smiled. “I will never betray this trust.”

Her hug, her smile...it reached out to him, to a place he thought he’d never find again.

“I didn’t know you were that strong.”

“You must promise to keep it a secret. No one can know.”

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.”

Funmi smiled at William. He knew he shouldn’t. He really did. But he couldn’t keep fighting it anymore. Her smile was too intoxicating. Her voice, a melody of the Heavens.

He closed the distance between then and kissed her. Funmi was far too shocked by the contact to move. She knew she should run away and go back home, get as far from this man as possible. But she couldn’t. A part of her wanted to help him. She knew he was tormented deep down in his heart...she wanted to soothe that ache.

He pulled back from her.

“I was expecting you to run and reject me.”

“I was too.” She mumbled under her breath.

“I’m glad you didn’t.” His fingers gently caressed her cheek.

“Me too.” She smiled that sweet smile of hers and he knew that if she were to run now, he would follow even if she protested.

As they both fell asleep that night, a thought occurred to him. He was never going to get laid. At least...not until marriage. But after what happened to his first wife...he didn’t want to lose someone else he loved.

Not again. Not ever again.

Ayame ran around the hotel room, back and forth from the bathroom to the beds. She didn’t know what to do. Was there someone to call in this situation? Every time she glanced over to the bed, her heart clenched and she wanted to cry.

She and Marrick had gone to a restaurant to eat and when they had gotten to the hotel, he had said he wasn’t feeling very well. In the next instant, he collapsed on one of the beds and turned into a white tiger.

She wanted to help but was too scared to go near him.

“Please don’t eat me, okay?” She mumbled quietly as she slowly walked over to the tiger.

She reached out hesitantly to his head and started to pat it gently. A soft rumbling erupted from his throat. He was purring. Encouraged by the response, she sat on the bed and patted him more. His eyes opened slightly and she smiled, hoping he would understand her.

“Don’t worry. I’ll take care of you.”

***

“Ya know...you look familiar.” Nicole narrowed her eyes on Serena.

“I hope I do or else your memory is crap. You guys have been stalking me for a while now.”

“Maybe you’re the one stalking us.”

“Nuh-uh!”

“Uh-huh!”

The two stared at each other.

“Whatever.” Nicole shrugged and continued to eat her brownie.

The metal cutting into her wrists only served to piss her off more. She glared at Crawford as usual. It was his second favourite expression. The first was pain. He had slipped something into one of her drinks at the bar without her noticing. Now that he knew exactly what she was, it would be even easier to tame her, to catch her.

She had passed out not too long after leaving the bar. He had instantly caught her and brought her to the room he had. He cuffed her hands to the bedpost, both enforced with Majick so she wouldn’t break free. The drug he gave her was a high rating aphrodisiac. To mortals, it would drive them insane with pleasure. On someone like her...he knew it would be worth it.

“You drugged me, didn’t you.” It was an accusation, not a question.

“Of course I did.”

He adjusted his position from between her legs and hovered above her. He bent his head down and bit into her neck. She shivered in pleasure against her will. The best part about the drug was that it turned pain into pleasure. Even though he liked to cause her pain, her reaction to this whole thing after he was finished would be the sweetest of sweets.

This would brake her. And she would be his then.

He dipped his hand below the waistband of her pants and she moaned quietly. He looked up to see her expression. She was still glaring at him. But the pleasure in her one good eye told him what he needed to know. He fingers encountered the curls between her legs before moving past them.

“Fuck!” She threw her head back into the pillow and arched her back.

She continued to writhe and squirm under him as he moved his fingers slightly before searching deeper.

He froze immediately.

She was a virgin.

The part that shocked him most was that he actually cared that she was.

He removed his fingers from her and she whimpered in protest.

“How is that possible?” He mumbled incomprehensible words under his breath.

Rain shook her head. It was finally cleared of its haze. She glared harder at the Vampire.

“Answer me.”

“Answer what?”

“How are you a virgin?” Rain blushed at that question.

“That’s none of your business!” Her glare turned wary. “What does it matter?”

And that was the question. What did it matter? Of all the things he had done in his life, why was he hesitating now? He had already done so much to her. He had raped many virgins before her. Why is this different?

What was the real reason behind him constantly seeking her out?

***

Rain stared blankly out of the passenger side window. The others seemed all happy and stuff this morning when they regrouped. She felt...strange. A part of her still very much hated Crawford. But the other part of her...well, she had been attracted to him physically from day one. But now...she was strangely aware that she was female. She grew up in a male dominated society where girls were looked down on. So she forced herself to toughen up. And before she knew it, there was equality between genders. But she never really felt feminine. It was why she sometimes acted the way she did. She was always brushed aside though.

They say the rain can’t be caught. That it becomes water when you let the drops collect in your hands. It is forever cursed to fall and crash into the ground. Melancholic rain. It’s why she took the nickname. She knew she was destined to be lonely forever, destined to fall and crash without anyone to catch her.

Loneliness...
