The next morning Laraine woke up to his cell phone going off on the table beside him. Anna was snuggled up next to him in his bed and he assumed that Alex hadn’t come home. Looking at the clock Laraine groaned seeing it was nine in the morning. God he didn’t want to be up at nine in the morning. He grabbed the phone and didn’t even look to see who it was before answering it.

“Hello?” he muttered and dropped his head against the pillow.

“Lainy you are such a liar.” Ben’s voice came.

Laraine immediately remembered that he had told Ben that he would call him. “Benjamin...oh my god I am so sorry.” he slid out of bed and went into the bathroom as to not disturb his cousin. “I totally spaced that. Are you mad at me?”

Ben sighed as if he were thinking about that one. “You may have to make it up to me.” Laraine could hear Ben smirking. “Hey love...I was wondering if you would want to come over tonight. You’d be surprised but I can cook rather well.”

“Benjamin...” Laraine smiled. “You know I would love to but...my cousins are here and I can’t just leave them.”

“Thank you for leading me to my next point.” Ben told him. “I want...your cousins, Alex and Anna, to come also. If Alex wants he can bring Zak too.”

“Awe...” Laraine laughed a little. “That sounds wonderful Benjamin! What time do you want us over at?”

Ben thought a moment. “Six I guess. That will work. I’ll have Jacoby go over to Angela’s so he’s not running around.”

Laraine frowned. “Benjamin don’t you dare send him somewhere else! He’ll get upset and it’s not fair that all of us get to have fun and he has to go somewhere else.”

“Baby Jacoby will have fun over with Brian and we will have a different kind of fun and my place.” Ben argued. “Lainy don’t make me beg.”

“He’s staying there!” Laraine snapped. “I want everyone to see him!”

“Daddy!” Laraine heard Jacoby yell. “Daddy come here please!”

Ben groaned. “Fine, he stays if that will make you happy love. However, you better realize that you are making it up to me.”

The blonde laughed. “I’ll see you at six Benjamin.” they hung up and Laraine ran back into his room jumping on the bed with Anna. She groaned and pulled the covers over her head. “Anna you wanna come to Benjamin’s tonight to have dinner? He invited you, Alex, Zak and me.”

“Will you let me go back to sleep if I say yes?” Anna asked him.

“Uhhuh!” Laraine answered.

“Then fine I’ll come.” Anna muttered.

Laraine kissed the top of her head and jumped out of the bed to go call Ryan. He walked down into the kitchen as he dialed Ryan’s number. “What do you want Lainy?” Ryan asked him.

That made Laraine giggle. “I’m sorry to interrupt you Alex but I wanted to know if you and Zak wanted to come to Benjamin’s with Anna and I to have dinner. Benjamin invited us and it would be really nice if you two came.”

Ryan seemed to think about that one a moment. “Sure. Sounds fun. I’ll be home in a little while and tell Zak what is going on.”

“Alright.” it was silent a moment. “You two did it huh?”

“Lain!” Alex yelled and hung up.

Ben was freaking out of at his house by the time five rolled around. He’d immediately told Jacoby to clean up his room because he knew the kid was going to want to drag Laraine back there and show him around. Sitting down on the couch Ben tried to think of everything he needed and if he even had it. He knew he had shrimp and all the things for that and he knew he had noodles. Yeah, he had everything he needed to make a dinner.

He didn’t understand why he was so nervous. Everything was cooking perfectly and nothing had exploded...yet. Laraine had called telling him everyone was coming and that meant that the night would be good. Laraine seemed more than happy that they were all going to spend time together and Ben was happy that Laraine was going to be happy so why was he freaking out?

“Hello?” Michael asked answering his phone. “What do you want Ben?”

“I am freaking out!” Ben snapped into the phone. “Michael I am such an idiot I don’t know why I did this.”

Michael sighed. “What did you do now Ben?”

Ben began to walk around his apartment nervously. “I invited Lain over for dinner.”

“So what? You’re a friggin awesome cook.” Michael told him.

“I invited his cousins over also.” Ben muttered.

That made Michael laughed. “Since when are you a housewife Ben?” Ben glared at that statement. “Honestly Ben, what do you want me to do? Tell you good job? I honestly thought Lain would have been the woman in that relationship but I was clearly wrong!”

“Shit why did I even call you?” Ben muttered and looked at the clock to see it was quarter after. If he knew Lain at all the boy would show up a half hour before anyone else. “Michael I’ve never done something like this before. What am I supposed to do?”

Michael laughed. “Fuck and you think I’ve done stuff like that before? The only person in Ryan’s family I’ve had over is Zak and that’s not anything like what you have thrown together. Kudos if you get through the night Ben.”

Someone knocked on the door and Ben nearly jumped out of his skin. “Michael I have to go. I’ll call you later.”
“Good luck.” Michael told him.

Ben hung up the phone and walked to the door. Opening it he came face to face with Laraine’s smiling face. Laraine stepped inside and Ben pulled him into a kiss. Wrapping his arms around Ben, Laraine opened his mouth for the older man and moaned as that warm tongue slid into his own.

“Eew!” Jacoby’s voice came and the two turned their heads to look at him.

“Monster are you done cleaning your room?” Ben asked him and Jacoby shook his head. “Then get that little butt back there and finish! We have people coming over and I want your room clean!” Jacoby ran back and Ben captured Laraine’s lips with his own again. “I missed you baby.”

Laraine smiled softly. “I’ve barely been gone a day.”

Ben lifted Laraine and Laraine wrapped his legs around Ben’s waist as the guy pushed him against a wall. “Way to long.” he began to suck on Laraine’s neck. “I wish your cousins weren’t in town. I want you to stay the night with me.”

“I’d love to...” Laraine got out before Ben kissed him. “But I have to stay with them.”

Someone knocked on the door and Ben groaned. He set Laraine down, who immediately went back to help Jacoby, and opened the door. The other three were standing there and Ben let them in. “This is a nice place Ben.” Anna said looking around and saw the pictures. “I think I want copies of these.”

“Anna he’s our cousin.” Alex told her. “You wanna see him...oh that’s pretty.” Alex had seen the picture of the one at sunset. “Wow...this is like one of those pictures you see in magazines or something.”

Ben laughed and ran a hand through his hair. “I guess. Jess really likes photography so she’s taken most of the pictures I have. She just has an eye for things.”

“Daddy!” Jacoby ran out of the room and hugged Ben’s leg. “He’s gonna get me daddy!”

Lifting Jacoby up Ben smiled as Laraine came walking down the hallway with his hands behind his back. “You attacking my son Lain?”

“Why ever would you think that?” Laraine asked him innocently. “Alex, Anna, Zak.” he smiled. “This is Jacoby, Ben’s son. Jacoby, that is Alex, Anna, and Zak.”

Jacoby turned his head into Ben shyly. “What is your problem monster? Your usually not this shy.” Ben set him down and Jacoby attached himself to Ben’s leg. “You know Alex. I know you know him.”

Alex smiled down at Jacoby, who was kind of looking at him. “You and I spent like three hours running around Lain’s house.”

“We played tag!” Jacoby was all of a sudden freaking out. “Can we play again? Please?”

“Maybe later.” Alex told him.

“Something smells really good.” Anna chimed in. “What is that?”

Ben shrugged. “Just something I learned how to make a while back. It’s some kind of spaghetti type thing but...different. I don’t know what it’s called...just how to make it.”

Laraine clapped his hands. “Lets eat then! I’m starving!”

“Me too!” Jacoby giggled.


Dinner went well. Ben was nervous the whole time and Laraine could tell. Laraine could always tell when Ben was nervous cause the guy was so calm and casual all the time that if he was even the slightest bit nervous it showed through, though none of the others seemed to notice. All this meant was that Laraine and Ben had to talk about it later, which Laraine saw no problem in staying at Ben’s house to do.

“Oh my god!” Alex yelled picking up one of Ben’s movies. “You have this? Have they even released this yet?”

“No they haven’t.” Ben answered sitting in his chair. “I have a few friends who know I’m into horror movies and they hooked me up with it. Though if anyone asks you don’t know I have it cause I doubt that the people I know got it legally.”

“Can we watch it?” Alex asked. He was like a four-year-old in a toys-r-us. “Please oh please!”

Ben laughed and nodded. “Sure,” he stood. “I don’t see why not.” he looked over at Jacoby. “You are gonna have to go to your room since we are watching this movie. This isn’t a movie for you monster.”

Jacoby pouted. “But I wanna stay with you!”

“Room. Now.” Ben ordered and Jacoby stomped his feet all the way back there.

As Ben put the movie in everyone sat somewhere. Anna sat in the chair that was opposite Ben’s and actually the best place to watch a movie at Ben’s, Zak and Alex on the couch, and Laraine sat himself down in front of Ben’s chair knowing that was where Ben was going to sit. Ben turned the lights off and walked back over. He sat down in the chair and then grabbed Laraine’s arm.

Laraine turned his head and looked up at Ben before allowing Ben to pull him up into his lap. Laraine sat sideways so his legs were over the arm rest and his head was resting against Ben’s shoulder. He hated scary movies and Alex was going on and on through the previews about how this movie was supposed to be the scariest movie of the year. That was not good since Laraine jumped during flipping comedy movies sometimes.

“Benjamin?” Laraine whispered in Ben’s ear once the movie had started and all the others were transfixed.

“Yeah sugah?” Ben was toying with Laraine’s hair softly.

Curling into Ben some Laraine sighed. “You didn’t want to do this did you?”

Ben smirked. “Wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t want to baby.”

“Then why did you?” Laraine asked him.

“Because I like to make you happy.” Ben answered and shifted a little so he could kiss his boyfriend. “Did I succeed sweetheart?”

A small smile graced Laraine’s lips. “Yeah...you did.”

Leaned down Ben kissed Laraine softly. No one was paying attention to them because they were all to interested in the movie. Even then Ben didn’t know when Laraine was going to tell him to stop cause Laraine was not the type of person who liked to have everyone watch them kiss, let alone make out.

Ben pushed his lips against Laraine’s fully, deepening the kiss and sliding his tongue into that warm mouth. However, when Ben went to slid his hand up Laraine’s shirt Laraine broke the kiss and looked at Ben. It wasn’t a look of wanting Ben to stop or anything like that. It wasn’t unsure or angry. Ben wasn’t exactly sure what he was supposed to do under that look.

“I love you...” Laraine whispered softly.

“Love you too baby.” Ben began to kiss Laraine’s neck.

Closing his eyes Laraine leaned his head back for Ben and tried to ignore the fact that there were others in the room. He didn’t like being in front of others when he was doing this kind of thing with Ben because it was something just for him and Ben. Kissing was fine in front of others but their friends didn’t need to see how they made out or anything like that.

A hand slid up into Laraine’s shirt and Laraine bit his lip to keep himself from making a noise. God this sucked. Why was everyone there? God Laraine couldn’t even remember anymore. Ben’s hand slid from his shirt and onto Laraine’s thigh. Laraine knew they needed to stop before things got to heated and someone spotted them but it felt so good. For the first time in his life he really wanted his cousins gone.

“Benjamin no...” Laraine grabbed Ben’s wrist as his hand went to slid between Laraine’s legs. “Don’t.”

“Sorry.” Ben whispered and set his hand on the side of Laraine’s face. “Getting ahead of myself.”

Laraine kissed Ben. “Doesn’t mean you have to stop.”

A smirk formed on Ben’s lips before he lowered his head to kiss Laraine again. “Hey baby?” Ben muttered and kissed back behind Laraine’s ear. “You wanna go somewhere with me tomorrow?”

“Where?” Laraine asked him.

“Party.” Ben answered. “I want you to come.”

Laraine looked up at Ben. “Sure...I’d love to...”

They began to kiss again and didn’t even notice when the movie ended. They just continued to kiss not realizing that everyone else was now watching them. “You know, I’m sure Ben has a room if you two want to use it.” Alex chimed in.

I AM SO FLIPPIN SORRY THIS TOOK SOOOOO LONG TO GET UP!!! I HATE MYSELF SO MUCH FOR TAKING SO LONG!!! I had serious writers block and thank you so so much to x-tina and Linz for giving me ideas! The next chapter will be up sooner I swear to god!!! If not then I fully give you permission to shoot me in the face.
