One Step at a Time

It's been a long time since I last updated, heck a long time since I've visited this site. I put continuing this on hiatus until the site straightened out some, but during the wait things just got busy, and on more occasions than not I've been flat out forgetting about this story. However I will finish it. Probably more so for my sake than anything else, and maybe that's kind of selfish, who knows, but I vowed that I would, for the first time, finish a story.

I just wanted to say I haven't forgotten again, and as long as my brain is functioning, arguably, I will be getting this done. The site seems close enough to being finished (this being a test post as well), so there might be a new chapter this week. No promises to that. At least the next post is started, so I have something to run with after such a long writer's drought.

Although, because things have gotten so busy and I don't see any slowing down in the future, this'll most likely be my only story on here. I was wanting to write something else after this, but the last thing I need when I'm busy is something else sitting on the back burner. I'll either be neglecting one or the other and I don't want that to happen.

Anyway, for the people waiting for another installment, sorry for the wait, but I stress again that it will be finished.
