Individual Pleasure
Ok. So bit of a poll(ish) thing for you guys. If you could only choose one of Paw and Mik's sex toy (for them, of course!) what would it be, who would be on top/bottom? Most er... votes? gets it. Not for the next chapter, but for a later one. The next one could very well be written really soon so. Thing brings up an issue that people and humans have to deal with and that is well... illegal. It brings up the issues, but doesn't show the issues. It also shows Mik doing a bit of a struggle and a loop and having to deal with someone who is smarter than him in an arguement. I love how he deals with it though. Though. Paw's comment right near the end is amusing, his one to Mik about Lillow's strength. Read, Review and Enjoy. The three had tea and then Mari left. Lillow paced the entire time, arms crossed tightly over her chest and a pinched look in her face. The future, right. Mik turned to her to say something and saw the strained look on her young features. Lillow’s eyes weren’t moving, like when she searched the futures, they were staring straight ahead. “Uhm. Lillow. Is… something wrong?”The girl skittered to a stop and glared at Mik, “nothing is wrong.”“You’re forgetting, Sidhe can’t lie to Mik,” Paw said, a mildly disgusted look on his face as he set his tea cup down, “remember the conversation we had with Ashun last night?”“What discussion?” Mik asked.Which only agitated Lillow more, “No, not discussion. We had no discussion. Don’t look at me like that, I’m not lying to you and I’m not giving you my soul either so go shove a broom up there or something.”“One that Mik was not privy to for a good reason,” Paw murmured, “Lillow. What’s wrong?”“Nothing.”“I swear you guys have lied to me in the past,” Mik muttered. “Mincing words and lying are two different things,” Paw murmured in response, “Paw very good at mincing words, so is Lillow. But if she minces words then I will know and she either doesn’t want me to know or is afraid I will tell you.”“Hmm. Lillow, why not sit down, whatever it is, we can talk about it.”“No we can’t,” Lillow muttered matter of factly, “you forget I can see the future.”“That aren’t always true,” Mik countered, “now just tell us this unforgivable thing you’ve done. Did you eat Mari?”“No! Of course not! I haven’t seen Mari in days.”Which meant Lillow hadn’t been paying attention in the least when Mari had been in the apartment. The young female wouldn’t know what had happened. “Then.”Lillow sighed and looked at the ground, dropping her hands to her sides and bunching up the fabric of her pants in them, “I slept with Hohi.”There were lots of different definitions to ‘slept’ but… Lillow and Hohi had slept in each others’ arms before and, “you mean you had sex with him?” he couldn’t believe how strangled his voice sounded.Lillow chewed her bottom lip for a long moment before answering, “Yes.”Mik looked at Paw. The male had gone bright red, but there was no expression on his face to tell Mik what was going through the Sidhe’s head. And as Paw didn’t seem about ready to talk, that left it up to Mik, to fill in the gaps. “What if you’re pregnant?”All he got was a confused look. Lillow looked from Mik, to Paw and quickly back again, “Sidhe aren’t fertile until at least their twentieth year.”“Oh. Uhm. What if you get an STD.”“A what?”“A sexually transmitted disease.”Again, the confused look, “Sidhe have sex freely and we become ill rarely. What illness we do have is purely biological imperative and we encourage it to work its way around so that we will be thusly immune to it.”“Uhm. Right,” Mik muttered to himself. His mind stumbled over things parents said when they found out their child had had sex, “well you aren’t old enough to. You can’t understand the consequences of your actions.”“You can’t even understand the consequences of my actions!” Lillow protested. “True,” Mik sighed, “but I do know that… why is it acceptable for her to have sex with some upstart teen, but not with Hohi, Paw?”“Because her and Hohi are promised to one another. We want to encourage her to explore her sexuality and to understand that Hohi is not the only way sex can happen, we don’t want her to be oppressed,” Paw muttered.“Hohi is huge, also.”“They couldn’t have had that kind of sex,” Paw hissed, “else Essuan would have been climbing down our throats and kicking Hohi at the same time.”Mik rubbed his face, “then what kind of sex was it?”“Communal,” Paw grimaced.“Like that time in the bed before the party?”“Yes.”“Something, something, Lillow, that’s worse than actual sex. You’re too young to be doing that, let alone with the man you plan to spend the rest of your life with.”“It’s my choice.”“No it’s not,” Mik snapped back, “because like it or not, in order for you to be safe, you have to give up your rights and privileges to your parents and your tribe. Civilizations and change are not built on individual pleasure, they are built on communal need.”“Says the one who defied the Elders.”“The Elders were wrong, in our case,” Paw responded calmly, “but by all means, take it to the Elders if you disagree with our decision.”Lillow went bright red. Mik glanced at Paw and then looked at Lillow, “you’re grounded. For two days. Think about what you’ve done.”“What is grounded?” Paw whispered to Mik, leaning towards the man. “No games, no fun, no Hohi. In her room sitting and doing nothing.”“Ah, time out sort of thing. Penalty box?” Paw muttered, “think I can enforce that.”“Enforce it, I’ll enforce it.”Paw made a face, “darling. Your daughter is stronger than you are. She could pick you up and physically move you. But I more of meant the power. So she actually can’t see Hohi.”“This is unfair.”“Then take it to the Elders,” Mik snapped at Lillow, “Go to your room and don’t you dare slam the door.”“I don’t have a door!” Lillow bellowed at him before stomping off.Paw licked his lips as Lillow flicked her blanket curtain down across her doorway. The Sidhe looked at Mik and burst into silent laughter. “You bastard,” Mik muttered, “you knew all along.”“Walk in communal mind, as if they could hide from me,” Paw responded quietly, “yet they had to be alone for that and her admitting it out loud allows me to take this to the leader. Tribe is still not watching properly.”“Taln is going to love that,” Mik groaned.“He will do fine. Maybe even better than Souse, as he can take away certain things, where as Souse… not so much with the … grounding, did you call it?”“Yes. Like Sahsowa I suppose…”“No. Because we still speak to her, but she isn’t allowed to do anything except think on why she is there. Very good punishment. No longer works on people children?”“No.”Paw sighed, “come, let us go to bedroom and discuss… things.”.
