Nori  smiled as he placed the block Sora had given him back on the nightstand  . Now that he had Saiai’s attention , he was planning on keeping it and atone for hurting him  . He didn't know what was making Saiai change his mind he was just grateful for the change of heart . Nori intended  on seducing him and have Saiai realize how good they could be together . He regretted so much that he let his obsession with finding out who was responsible  for kidnapping his siblings get in the way of his life and ruined Saiai . His uncle , Nori had found out recently, had died . Nori couldn't help but feel some pity for the man  . But he had no time to think of that , he had more important matters to attend to . Namely getting his husband back .

Saiai was going over some papers when someone dropped off a box . He frowned looking at it curiously  . After a moment's hesitation Saiai picked up the long rectangular box and opened it . Inside it was a single rose with a note .

Thinking of you-Nori

Saiai took the rose out and twirled it as he smiled . It was a nice gesture, but Saiai was going to make him work harder than this if he wanted to be forgiven . He placed the rose in the box and shoved it aside so he could resume his task .

Saiai closed the door and made his way inside wanting to see Sora . He paused when he heard Hanna talking .”I do want o be with you “.

Saiai frowned as he wondered who Hanna could be talking to .

“Yes , I’m going to tell him . I don’t want to give Saiai a reason to hate me again . I just don’t want him to be angry with me for this . I’ll talk to you later he should be here already “.

“Why would I be angry at you Hanna? Is there something I should know “?

Hanna gasped as she turned to see Saiai standing by the doorway. He walked into the living room and looked at Hanna , she had a guilty look on her face .

“Well ? Hanna if you have anymore secrets, you better tell me now because I’m not going to tolerate any secrets “.

Hanna looked down at the floor and took a deep breath  as she stood quietly . Saiai waited a moment before he became impatient .

“You are hiding something from me then . Hanna , I swear I won’t be as forgiving this time around “.

“I’m seeing Daichi “!

Saiai’s eyes went wide not believing he heard right . “What “?

“Daichi and I are , we are seeing each other. We’re...dating “.

Saiais’ eyebrows shot up as he processed what Hanna had just said.

“Please don’t be angry! I’ll, I won’t see him if that’s what you want “.

Saiai saw how upset Hanna was and immediately felt bad for her .

“It’s all right ! It’s okay”.

Hanna looked at Saiai miserably ,eyes shining with unshed tears .

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you because I knew you wouldn’t allow it , but I like him”.

Saiai then felt worse after hearing that .

“No, no ,Hanna . I’m sorry you feel that way . You just took me by surprise  . I wasn't expecting to hear this “.

Hanna nodded.

“Please don’t be angry with me , like I said I’ll break it off . I’d rather not see him than you “.

• “Oh honey don’t . I have no right to tell you who to see . That’s your business, but mine “.

• “I should've told you . I just didn't know how to “.

“You should've told me from the start  , but if that's your secret ,then as long it doesn't interfere with my life I have nothing to say to that  . It's your business not mine “.

Hanna drew a sigh of relief and relaxed .

“Thank you  , and again I'm sorry I  should've told you “.

Saiai just smiled . “So you and Daichi  huh"?

“Um, yeah , it was unexpected  . We began talking and we clicked “.

“I'm  glad that you're happy “ .

“Saiai  ,i really  hope that this won't put a strain on you, or , you know be awkward “?  “Please don't worry about it . Okay? So where's my son in all this excitement  I haven't heard a peep from him “.

“He's  asleep in the room . Poor  tenshi had a full day".

Saiai smiled and went to see Sora  .

Saiai walked into  his office and sat Sora  down on the couch and gave him his toys to play with . He made sure  to turn the television on and put on Sora’s favorite show . Satisfied that his son was entertained  , Saiai sat on his desk and looked over his schedule for the day . He wasn't too busy today . He thought  maybe he could take Sora somewhere .

“Excuse  me , Mr. Yonamine ? This just came in “.

Saiai glanced  up to see his secretary holding a bouquet of long stem roses .

“Oh , uh , thank you “.

Saiai took the bouquet  from the secretary who left  . He saw a note that was tied with a ribbon and opened it  already knowing who it came from .

Hope you have a great day ,

and  you like the flowers  .

Would it be to much to

ask if you could have lunch ?

I'd  love to spend  some time

with you and  our son .

Saiai looked at the note thoughtfully  .It was short , but it invoked conflicting  feelings in him . He was thinking of giving Nori a chance,  but he didn't want to get hurt again . He had Sora to think about and he didn't  think he could handle Nori hurting him again . He seemed to be over his obsession and had changed  . He had to admit now that he spent more time with him ,Saiai was curious to see what would come of this . Maybe he should give Nori the benefit of the doubt  ?

Nori walked out of the boardroom  happy to be out of the meeting at last . Some of the congressional officials were  arguing over a bill that a few wanted to pass , but not all of them agreed on it . So Nori stepped  in to mediate and see if they could come up with a solution . It was frustrating but he managed it . He felt tired and just wanted to go home and rest  , suddenly his phone chirped . He reached into his pocket and took it out , without looking at the screen he answered .

“Hello “?

“Nori “?

He froze as he heard Saiai  , he wasn't expecting this  , but he most certainly welcomed  a call from him .

“Uh , Nori,  are you there “?

“Yeah  , uh , yeah  . I wasn't expecting you to call “.

“I  just wanted to thank you for the rose and the flowers “.

“No need , Saiai  . So did you think about it ? Can we meet up somewhere for lunch “?

“Um , I  , okay “.

Saiai  heard Nori  gasp over the phone  .

“Can we meet up today? Anywhere you want . I'd like to see you and our son , please “.

“ How about in an hour ? Sora is sleeping  , but he should be waking up soon . “.

Nori  sat inside  the cafe waiting  on Saiai to appear  . He checked his watch to keep himself busy . His fingers  drummed on the table trying to calm his nerves but not succeeding  . He knew it was still early , but Nori was doubting Saiai would show up for some reason .  He was being paranoid , but he couldn't help it . Just then as he turned to look around , Nori  saw Saiai and Sora walking in looking around . With a big smile Nori stood up and motioned for him .

Saiai saw Nori and walked towards  him with Sora in his arms .

“Hey “.

“Hello Saiai  , Sora “.

Sora  looked over at Nori and smiled .

“H’lo “ !

They sat down in silence  before Sora noticed the watch Nori  wore on his wrist and reached out with wriggling  fingers .

“As dat “?

Nori lifted his hand  and shook it .

“It’s a watch . You like it “?

Sora nodded and wiggled his fingers  .

“Ant  it ! Ant it “!

Saiai  glanced at Sora and shook his head .

“No , baby , it's  not yours “.

Sora  pouted and crossed his arms over his chest . Nori smiled and took off his watch and reached out to give it to Sora  , who perked up and wiggled his fingers to Nori .

“No , please don't  give it to him , he's  going to break it “. Saiai reached  out and his hand brushed against Nori’s  , and yanked his hand back like it had been burned .

“Uh , he might break your  watch , I'm just saying “.

“Don't  worry about it  , it's just a watch . Let Sora have it  . I can get me another one “. Nori gave the watch to Sora , who took it and began to wave it back and forth .”Besides it's  plastic”, Nori continued as he smiled at the toddler .

Saiai  visibly relaxed and let Sora play with the watch which now he had on his wrist  , he looked at Nori and gave him a smile .

“Atch  ! Shiny “!

Saiai  gave a quiet chuckle while Nori  smiled fondly at Sora .

“I think he likes it , and he's  thanking you “.The tense atmosphere  began to relax and both ordered their meal  . As they ate they made small talk with Nori  asking questions about Sora , about what he liked and his favorite  foods . It was a pleasant time to spend and Sora seemed to like him .

“I'm  glad you  decided to  come . Maybe we can do this sometime . I'd love  for us to see more of each other “.

“I-I don't know . Nori  I have to think on that “.

“Please . I really want us to be a family  , like the way we should've been “.

“Nori you're asking a lot from me “.

“I know and I'm sorry  , but I want my family  . I want you “.

“Don't  make something out of what's not there please  . I admit I don't feel anger toward you anymore , but it doesn't mean anything . I can't trust myself when it comes to  you “.

“I know I  give you reason not to trust me . All I  can say is trust yourself . Saiai I want you back , and I'm  willing to do whatever it takes . We can do this on your terms “.

Saiai  glanced  at Nori with a surprised  look on his face . He wasn't to hear that .

“So  if , and that's  if we were to get back  , you would do it on my terms “?

Nori needed . “I would . I miss you . I would and will do whatever it takes to get you back “.

“I'll  think about it . Um , I  have to go . I don't want Sora to get fussy”.

Saiai  stood up and picked up Sora   . “Maybe we can have lunch again “?

“Just tell me when “.

Nori watched as Saiai made his way out of the cafe with a smile  . The time he just had with Saiai and his son was special and he planned on having more of them .

“So how did it go “?

“I think it went alright . Saiai doesn't  hate me , so that's a good thing “.

Daichi smiled   . “ I'm glad . I hope we can see them again “.

“Me too  . I made it clear that I'm  willing to to do whatever it takes to have him in my life .  I don't plan on losing him again”.

Daichi  nodded . “We just need to be patient “.

“When it comes to my husband and son , I  have patience . You know , Saiai told me that he  can't trust himself . I want to show him he can trust me  “.

“I hope whatever  you do that it works “.

As he made his way to the building  , Saiai spotted Daichi at the entrance  . He stopped in front of him .

“Hey “.

“Hey . I hope you don't mind me being here “.

“Did you need anything  ? I keep forgetting to ask about your legs . How are they  feeling”?

“No I don't  , thank you , and my legs are fine . I barely feel any pain now  . Thank you again “.

“Oh , I'm  glad , but it's  the doctor you have to thank , not me “.

“Still I  owe you thanks “.

“So what is it that you wanted “.

“I just wanted to let you know how grateful  me and Nori are that you invited us to Sora’s party . I hope we can spend more time “.

“It's  like I told your brother  , I'm not angry anymore . Truthfully  I don't want to hold on to this anger .  Nori made me realize that it was hurting me , and I  didn't want that anymore for myself or my son “.

Daichi  stood silent  then he nodded  .

“It's  not good to hold on to it . Well I  have to go , but please keep in contact with us .”

“Okay  “.
