A/N: Sorry for the delay on this chapter. We hope you enjoy it and there is much more in the future for Ruka and Daisuike. New and old enemies will surface so keep your eyes open. ^___^

Daisuike sat on the couch as he waited for Ruka, he kept suppressing the urge to take out his switchblade. Normally if he was feeling this jittery playing with it helped calm him, but he didn’t want to scare Ruka to death. So he’d resorted to rearranging the magazines into alphabetical order by subject on the coffee table. There were a lot of them and they didn’t look like anything Ruka would really be interested in anyway, though he was tempted to read the one that advertised simple European recipes on the cover.

He was used to going to the concerts alone and wasn't sure what he was supposed to do or how he was supposed to act now that he had a boyfriend. He laughed softly at himself. He would just act like he normally did, most likely. Just because Ruka was there didn't change that, though he would probably have a lot more fun than he was normally used to. Ruka wasn’t anything like anyone he’d ever met and he was constantly finding himself off balance around the man. It gave him chills to think about everything that had happened since yesterday. So much had suddenly changed in his life and he wasn’t entirely sure what to think. He knew that there was something inexplicable about the way he felt around Ruka, about the way Ruka made him feel. Was it normal to feel like this?

He jumped slightly as Ruka leaned over the back of the couch wrapping arms around his neck, soft lips pressing against his cheek. The soft smell of Ruka plus shampoo enveloped him and he smiled, something he found he was doing a lot more often since he’d met the man.

"How are you feeling? Are the cream and pills helping?" Ruka asked softly. "We can reapply it at the concert if we need to and if you lie about not needing it I'm gunna be mad."
He came around the sofa pulling Suke up to kiss his lips softly. "So just tell me okay?"

Daisuike nodded blushing at the thought. He never told anyone when he was in pain. Ever. He just dealt with it. Though he didn’t really want Ruka being upset with him either. "Hai. Are we ready to go then? It's getting close to time."

He was going to have to stick close to Ruka. He looked simply decadent in his outfit and it was seriously testing Daisuike's control to keep from touching him. Tight pants rode low on the slim hips, the shirt hanging loose and offering tantalizing glimpses of bare skin from time to time. He just hoped the pills didn't wear off too quickly. He wanted to enjoy his first real date with his lover.

Ruka smiled as they got into the car and headed towards the club. Suke seemed to be doing okay with sitting and walking though he was glad he brought extra pills. The last thing he wanted was to have his boyfriend in pain. Boyfriend, that made Ruka really happy to say and to think. He’d almost given up on finding someone he could truly connect with, but Daisuike didn’t judge him or condemn him for the things he’d done. Suke let him be himself and that was all he really asked. That and to be able to touch him whenever the urge hit him. Which was extremely often, especially in those clothes and after last night. He’d didn’t think he’d ever get enough of the man.

Smiling as he parking the car he hoped out running around the car to help Suke out, enjoying the look he got before leading him inside. He enjoyed pampering his shy yakuza who obviously wasn’t used to it. He wanted to find a booth and maybe get a waiter or someone to get them drinks if possible. He was also excited to meet the band members.
The club was a controlled riot once they were inside. A band was already playing, a pretty young woman singing something about meeting her lover in the rain. There was a large crowd moving slowly on the dance floor and the club had an overall excited atmosphere, a good omen for the band. Blinking he spotted Reiko sitting alone in a secluded booth off to the far side of the dance floor. The blue streaked hair was easy to spot even in this crowd. "Reiko-chan's here? Do you want to go sit with her?"

"Where is she?" Daisuike glanced around noticing her after a moment. She hadn't seen them yet. "Ah, I see her."

He also saw several heads turning their direction. He immediately moved closer to Ruka, not quite touching but close enough that he could feel the heat from his body. He scanned the gathered crowd with a practiced eye picking out the people he felt might be trouble later. Like the guys already drinking at the bar and laughing just a little too loud. He'd be disappointed if he got into a fight tonight not wanting to ruin Ruka's nice outfit. He'd just have to be careful.

"Want to go sit with her."

Ruka nodded slipping his arm around Suke casually, smiling as they walked toward Reiko. Looking at her, he blinked noticing a drink in her hand that definitely didn't look like soda.

"Drinking? Aren't you a bit young?"

"Aren't you also a bit young to be drinking?"

Ruka pouted slipping into the booth pulling Suke with him. "Maybe. . ."

Daisuike grinned and waved a waiter over. "Well, I wouldn't be too worried about it. What do you want Ruka?"

The opening band was wrapping up and he was anxious to see Akira play. He really wanted them to impress Ruka and he was sure they would. They really were good and he hoped that they got signed to a label. At least that way Akira could do something he really wanted to with his life. He deserved to be happy.

"Hmm, Absolut Pleasure. Rum on the rocks, correct?" Ruka smiled at Suke watching him nod the waiter acknowledging with his own.

"Suck up."

"Eh?"

Reiko smirked into her drink before looking at him. "I called you a suck up."

"Oi! Just because I know what he likes to drink doesn't mean I'm sucking up!"

"Right. . ."

"Ouji-sama! Hime-chan is being mean! Make her stop!"

"Shut up! Geez! They're gunna start soon." Reiko turned away looking at the stage.

The stage hands where changing out the guitars and seeing to a few small things. Bloody Agony would be on in just a few moments the MC informed them which got a cheer from the waiting crowd. It was less than five minutes before a small yet very well built dark haired boy bounded onto the stage. Multiple piercings caught the low light as he hopped up on the drum platform, pale skin flashing in the mid-drift baring outfit. A beautiful smile beamed out at the chanting crowd. He grabbed up the sticks twirling them in a bit of showmanship before starting a steady rhythm.

“That is Yabuki Hasu. He just joined about three months ago. He’s only . . . fourteen, I think. I’ll have to ask Akira again. He’s spectacular.” Ruka nodded at Daisuike’s introduction.

Movement caught his attention and he raised an eyebrow as the tallest red head he’d ever seen came sauntering out. The man looked incredibly exotic with a waist length curtain of blood red hair, the top of it was spiked almost impossibly high making him look even taller. A toned stomach was revealed under the open vest and tight black pants rode low on his hips. A slightly seductive grin graced the almost feminine face and the girls up front were screaming and jumping trying to get his attention as he picked up the bass guitar.

“There is Sora. He’s only half Japanese in case you couldn’t tell.”

“Half Japanese and half what? Giant?”

Daisuike chuckled. “I think his grandfather is Irish.”

“So the red is natural?”

“I believe so-ah! There is Akira! Ito will be coming out next.”

Akira’s spiky purple hair was impossible to miss and Ruka was surprised to see how cute the outfit was. The purple complimented his hair very well and the shorts showed lots of pale slender legs. The girls went even crazier the screaming taking on a new intensity as Akira waved looking self-conscious. Not too far behind him was the blond haired singer. If things had been noisy before now it was deafening and the band hadn’t even really started playing yet.
Daisuike sipped at his drink as he watched the band. They really were fun to watch. Ryuu amazing as usual, was working the crowd both with his dancing and the way he'd sing. Akira was smiling as he played and that made Daisuike feel very good. The new drummer had improved the overall sound of the band. They sounded more polished and professional now.

Ruka smiled as he bounced a bit to the music tapping his foot. It was good. Really good. They probably could get a label any time they wanted to and make it really big. Their looks weren't so refined just yet but with a backing of a label they'd get that professional look. It made him happy to know that Daisuike's brother was doing something he loved and would make it.

Tightening his grip around Suke he pulled him closer then glanced over and saw Reiko staring away from the band and was about to ask her what's wrong but the crowd's screams suddenly brought his attention to the stage. There on stage Ryuu was kissing Akira, his arm around the smaller boy's neck.

Glancing back to Reiko he blinked seeing her still refusing to look.

"Getting another drink, you guys good?"

"Umm. . . Yeah." They had barely touched their drinks and he frowned watching her slip through the crowd.

"I thought your brother liked Reiko." Ruka was really confused as to what was going on.

Daisuike blinked a few times. That was new. He knew Ryuu had a major crush on Akira but that was a bit much. He'd have to have a talk with Ryuu about it later. From the way Akira was reacting he had not expected that at all. The smile was gone replaced by the more familiar expressionless mask that he normally wore.

"He does." Daisuike frowned as he looked around for Reiko. He seriously hoped there wasn't going to be any misunderstandings from this. "Ryuu has had a crush on Akira for years now but I don't think Akira knows, or if he does he ignores it."

"Ah. . . yeah he does not seem too happy about it." He glanced around spotting Reiko coming over with another drink, eying the contents. "Can I have a sip?"

"Why?"

"Cause it looks good?" Honestly he wanted to see how much alcohol was in it. He continued to smile though.

"Fine." Glaring Reiko handed him the drink as she sat down her eyes back on the band. Ruka quickly took a sip then frowned. Either it was mixed really well or it was weak. While Reiko's back was to him basically he poured a good amount into his glass then took ice from Suke's cup plopping it inside the drink. Passing it back he smiled.

"Pretty good."

"I thought so." Reiko took the glass back idly sipping it. Ruka sighed smiling down at Suke before kissing his head lightly.

Daisuke shook his head a slight smile tugging at his lips. Reiko looked pretty upset which just reaffirmed for Daisuike how much she liked Akira. He needed to find a way let Ryuu know that he was overstepping his bounds. Akira would never assert himself like that which bothered Daisuike but there wasn't much he could do about it. The band wrapped up pretty quickly after that only coming back for one encore. Daisuike turned to Ruka.

"Want to go meet everyone?"

"Sure." He smiled watching Reiko get up with them. Helping Suke up he kept his arm slung around his neck giving him a slow kiss before slipping his arm down to his waist. It was hard not to touch him in the outfit he was wearing. Who knew his Ouji-sama could look so good in his clothes?

"Quit molesting each other. Geez." Reiko snapped at them glaring as she walked ahead into the hallway for the backstage area.

"Geez what wrong with her? Did something crawl up her-"

"I can still fucking hear you, okama!"

Ruka blinked kind of shocked to hear her words. Not like he hadn't been called that before but Hime-chan had been always pretty nice, he'd never really seen that side of her before.

"Sorry. . ." He sighed tugging Suke a bit closer needing the reassurance. He wasn't so sure he wanted to meet the band anymore. Not after pissing off Reiko.

Daisuike glared at the back of Reiko's head. Just because she was pissed off didn't mean she needed to insult Ruka and him in a roundabout way. She must be more upset about the kiss than he'd realized. He hoped she didn't end up hitting someone because of it. He stroked Ruka's back trying to reassure him not liking the hurt look in his eyes. If he had to he would put Reiko in her place, no matter how much it pissed her off.

Ruka smiled shaking his head liking how Suke touched his back, "Hey, it's okay. I'm fine. She's just really upset so don't take it personal okay?" He had felt Suke tense when Reiko had said what she had. It bothered him but he didn't want there to be tension between everyone just because she had said something she'd probably later regret.

"I feel bad for her though, I mean it has to hurt kind of bad to see the person you like being kissed by someone else, even if it wasn't completely willingly." Ruka looked down at Suke smiling a bit hearing the door to the room open and close signaling that Reiko had entered.

"I know it wouldn't make me very happy." Daisuike's voice was soft as he opened the door for Ruka. A quick glance around the room and he realized Akira wasn't there. He must be more upset about it than Daisuike had realized if he'd left. Ryuu was talking with some of the fans that had backstage passes. Sora was lounging on the couch watching Hasu as he tore into one of the gift baskets on the table.

Sora spotted them and got up. "Heya, Suke did you see where Akira went?"

"No sorry. Ano . . . Sora this is Ruka."

Ruka smiled bowing to Sora. "Hello. You guys were really good. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that you get signed pretty soon." He stopped seeing Reiko stalking over.

As she passed them she muttered, "Sorry about what I said. Going to find Akira." She moved past them quickly to leave the room and Ruka sighed. Why did he have such a bad feeling about all this?

Daisuike sighed, he was probably going to have to intervene at some point. He just didn't like getting in the middle of their business, but they were still young and trying to figure things out, just like him and Ruka.

Ryuu finished up with the fans and sauntered over grinning. "Suke! You never come backstage and . . . who is this?"

Daisuike instantly moved a little closer to Ruka not liking the way Ryuu was looking at him. It made him feel insecure being around the flamboyant singer. Ryuu was too good looking and a part of Daisuike couldn't help but be scared that Ruka might find him more attractive.

"This is Ruka."

Ruka smiling feeling Suke ease closer to him and it made him happy, except the way Ryuu was looking over Suke made him a bit jealous. Even if they were good looking he didn't want his boyfriend being stared at. Especially by this guy who goes and kisses people who he likes just because he feels like it.

Sliding his arm around Suke's waist he tucked his thumb into the belt loop tugging him closer.

"His boyfriend. . ." There was a possessive and slightly hostile tone to it as he looked Ryuu over not enjoying the way he was staring at all. If it was one thing Ruka hated it was people thinking they could touch and lust after what was his.

The shocked look on Ryuu's face was quickly replaced with a grin. "It’s about time."

Daisuike glared at him for a moment and decided to change the subject. "What's up with kissing Akira."

Ryuu's grin got bigger. "Just a little fanservice. Those crazy girls go nuts for it and Akira is already very, very popular. Although, I probably should have warned him, but it kind of slipped my mind."

"Yeah, I'll bet. In the future you might want to keep that to a minimum."

Ryuu waved a hand. "It's no big deal. I won't do it if he tells me to stop. Hell Sora doesn't mind. Do you Sora."

Sora rolled his eyes and went back to playing his DS. Hasu walked over munching on a apple and looked up at them.

"Hi Kobayashi-san."

"Yabuki-kun. I must say your drumming adds a lot to the band’s sound."

Hasu grinned. "Thanks! I think I'll go help Reiko look for Akira."

He leaned closer to Daisuike as he went to leave, whispering. "I think he was a little freaked out."

Ruka looked down at Hasu smiling at the drummer, nodding a bit. Glancing towards Ryuu he already wasn't liking the kid too much. He seemed to cause a lot of issues. Akira was obviously not as happy as he had been and this moron thought it was okay. Tugging Suke a bit closer he smiled a bit, even if it was obviously a fake one. He really didn't want to be here any longer. Turning his head he looked at Suke for a moment.

"When Akira gets back do you want to head home?" His voice was a little off but he couldn't say he was enjoying his time being with the band.

Daisuike nodded. "That would be fine with me."

He didn't want Ruka to know but the pain meds where wearing off and he didn't want to stay much longer anyway. He didn't want to take any more with the alcohol in his system. Going to one of the chairs he sat down trying to get comfortable.

Sora shut the game off having completed the level he was on. Sitting back he watched Daisuike and Ruka for a moment. They definitely made a good looking couple, it was hard to decide who to look at. He narrowed his eyes slightly as Suke went to sit down. Something seemed a little off and he turned to watch Ruka, trying to figure out what it was. He’d been around Daisuike enough over the years to recognize when he wasn’t acting right. Right now he seemed to be uncomfortable.

Ruka smiled sadly a bit moving to sit with Daisuike helping him as discreetly as he could. He gently stroked Suke's hand and arm not wanting him to be in pain but his eyes had caught how he moved to sit down. It felt nice to be sitting close to him though he hoped Sora didn't mind the closeness. Sliding his arm around Suke's neck he smiled a bit nuzzling his neck whispering into his ear, "Do you want to go apply the cream?"

Sora raised his eyebrows seeing Daisuike blush and duck his head at what ever Ruka had said. That was something he never in his life had thought he'd see. The most expression he'd ever seen out of Suke was a pleasant smile. This Ruka must be something very special.

He turned to look at Reiko as she stuck her head in the door asking for Ryuu. Ryuu glanced over and followed her out. Sora looked back over at Daisuike and Ruka and grinned. It suddenly hit him what was probably wrong.

He got up walking over to the pair his voice soft. "If you need anything I've got extra pain killers in my bag."

Ruka shook his head smiling at Sora. The way he was looking at them told him volumes of what he knew about why Suke was uncomfortable. Sadly he knew it would embarrass Suke but he didn't mind at all.

"Naw, I think we got it covered. He's been drinking anyways. Got stuff already, thank you though." He smiled at Sora liking this band member more than the vocalist. He hated to say it, but he had definitely gotten off on the wrong foot with that guy.

"We'll head home once Akira gets back. Though I think Hime-chan will be coming with us too."

Daisuike kept his head down as Ruka and Sora talked his face burning. Was it really that obvious that he was in pain? He was doing his best to act normally even if the ache as beginning to make him gasp a little. He shouldn't have drank anything at least then he could have taken some pain meds.

Sora nodded looking at Ruka. "That would be good. She's a good kid. If you want, there is a changing room right over there."

He pointed to the sectioned off area then glanced back down at Daisuike. "Ne Suke, don't worry about it. It will be a lot better tomorrow. Just take it easy until then."

Ruka smiled gently at Sora nodding, then looked down at Suke. It would definitely be a good idea if they applied the cream again. Fingering Suke's hair gently he leaned his lips close to his ear, "Come on, let's go and use the changing room." Though his thoughts instantly went towards what else they could be doing behind an out of sight area.

Sora moved back as Daisuike got up. He wasn't sure how to read the look Daisuike gave him, if it had been someone else he might have felt a little threatened. Sora shook his head smirking as he watched Daisuike and Ruka go into the changing room. He never in a million years would have thought that the tough yakuza enforcer would have ever allowed anyone to top in a relationship.

He looked over at the door wondering what was taking Reiko and Ryuu so long. Hasu should have found them and Akira by now. Ryuu still wasn't acting like himself even though the whole Naoki thing had happened almost three months ago now. He wondered how much of tonight's fan service had really been play. He knew how very lonely Ryuu was. He was wakened late at night too often by phone calls from the singer.

Ruka smiled gently as he helped Suke apply the cream. The position was way too erotic and he was getting extremely hard. Daisuike was bent forward his hands and forearms resting against the wall as Ruka applied the cream as gently as he could. Softly kissing Suke's neck he murmured soft reassuring words into his words wishing there was more he could do to ease the pain his lover was in.

Daisuike was very glad Ruka had thought to be prepared. The cream definitely helped ease the pain even if there was still a dull throb. It was rather weird to be doing this backstage though and he was still getting over the shock of Sora knowing what was wrong. How did Sora know . . . he decided not to follow that line of thought. He shivered as Ruka kissed him, his soft voice helping to distract him. He just really wanted to hurry up and heal already. He swore softly as he heard his phone buzz.

Ruka frowned a bit as he finished applying the clean, fishing Suke's phone from his pocket and handing it to him as he helped put his pants back on. He really wanted to just touch him but he figured the phone call was important. Frowning he looked around for something to use to clean his fingers with. Finding some tissues he cleaned himself up as Suke answered his phone.

"Moshi mo-"

"Suke, it's Hayate. We've got a problem."

Daisuike closed his eyes for a moment and leaned against the wall. "What kind of problem?"

"Can you meet me at the bar?"

"Yeah."

"I'll give you the details there."

Ruka bit his lip looking at Suke as he closed his phone. Another problem? He really didn't like the sound of that at all. Suke could barely walk, let alone take on a problem.

"Where do we need to go?"

***

Hasu came around the corner and stopped his mouth open in surprise. Why were Ryuu and Reiko sitting in the middle of the hallway crying? Shutting his mouth he shook his head. He was quickly learning just how emotional his new boss could be.

"Ano . . ."

He glanced up and spotted Akira approaching them. Akira didn't look particularly happy. His eyes widened slightly taking in Ryuu and immediately he looked over at Reiko.

"Got a little carried away didn't you?"

Reiko turned her face away pushing her bottom lip out a bit, "If I got carried away he'd be bleeding." She sighed a bit patting Ryuu's head looking a bit shamed that she caused him to cry that much. Exhaling slowly she continued to walk towards the dressing room then blinked seeing Ruka and Daisuike come out.

"Hime-chan, Akira, we need to leave."

"Eh? Why?"

"Business."

Reiko's eyes narrowed then looked at Suke. Business could only mean one thing and she was going to help. Gently as she could she unlatched Ryuu from her and handed him to Hasu. Brushing some hair and tears from his face she smiled at him kissing his cheek, "We'll talk later okay? Call me tonight if you need to. Feel better, ne?"

Akira sighed as they left, at least Reiko was going to probably get to stay over. He glanced over at Daisuike as they walked out to the car. It had been a rougher week than normal and Suke looked like he could use some time off. Like a week or two. Maybe with Ruka around Daisuike would find something other than work to live for.

Daisuike was ready to punch something or someone. He couldn't even take a day off without getting called in to handle something. What was with everyone calling him every time some little thing went wrong? He ended up cleaning up so many messes it was getting ridiculous. Although he knew that Hayate wouldn't call him without a very good reason. If it wasn't Daisuike was going to hit him. He was not feeling up to dealing with all that much tonight and was more than ready to go home.

Ruka sighed as they all got into his car and he really wished there was something he could do for Suke. He couldn't help him physically nor could he help with the situation. He hated feeling so useless to the person he loved.

"Alright so we're heading to your place to drop Akira and Hime-chan off-"

"I'm going with."

"Eh?" He turned looking at her then at Suke, "I really don't think that's such a good idea. You should stay with Akira-"

"I'm going and if you got a problem with that I'll drive to the bar myself." Reiko glared back at Ruka and he sighed looking at Suke. His word would decide it.

"I just don't think it's a good idea. . ."

"Just stay with Akira, Reiko. I won't be gone long and someone needs to keep Ruka in line anyway." Daisuike tried to keep his voice light. "I'm just going down to the bar to check on things. There is no reason for you to come with me."

"I'm going and you really can't stop me Suke if I really want to go. Which I do. You'll see me at the bar either way." Reiko voice was hard and she glared at bit at him. She wasn't going to back down an inch.

"I don't need to be kept in line. . ." Ruka sighed pouting a bit as he drove to the apartment. They had to drop Akira off anyways.

Daisuike looked back at Reiko for a moment. He could tell from the look on her face that he wasn't going to be able to change her mind. He turned back around not bothering to say anything. It pissed him off though. Ever since the thing with Fudoka she was getting more noisy about stuff.

"Suit yourself."

Ruka sighed. Great, now both highnesses are in a bitchy mood. Running a hand through his hair he sighed just letting the silence consume them. Once they reached the apartment he watched as Akira got out. There was a small smile he saw on Reiko's face and as she waved he wondered if she really wanted to be with him though felt obligated to go with Suke.

As they drove off the silence once again filled the car and finally Ruka couldn't take it anymore and stopped the car on the side of the road.

"Fuck it all to hell! Either you two make up, get over, or just ignore whatever the hell is the matter or I won't take you to the bar."

"I don't have a problem." Reiko's voice was flat and Ruka's eye twitched in annoyance.

Daisuike twitched at Ruka's tone but didn't turn from watching out the window. His eyes narrowed at Reiko's response. She had no idea what the hell she was doing. He'd let her do too much the other day, that much was obvious. She didn't understand what his job entailed. Not in the least. If she ever knew . . .

In one smooth movement he had unbuckled and got out of the car. He shut the door behind him and leaned against it. Why did she have to be so bull headed about everything?

Ruka sighed about to get out of the car to talk to Suke but was surprised to hear Reiko unbuckling. He was about to ask if she wanted him to get out but was shocked to see her just shove open the door of the car that Suke was leaning against. Daisuike stumbled forward and Ruka sighed. That probably wasn't going to help.

Frowning Reiko shut the car door behind her looking at Suke as she crossed her arms mostly to keep the cold air off her arms.

"Do you really think I don't realize what I'm getting myself into Daisuike?" Her voice was softer than it had been before and she sighed slowly. "I know exactly what I'm walking into and I plan to help any way I can. From the way things were said to me I assumed that there were more problems with Fudoka or something or with Jiro." Turning her head towards him she looked at him sadly.

"If it turns out they just need you to 'enforce' some things, I will gladly back off. I may want to help but I am not going to do that."

Daisuike was having a difficult time keeping himself in check, the pain not helping anything.

"I don't know what's going on. Hayate wouldn't tell me over the phone so I'm assuming he couldn't talk where he was." He braced himself against the roof of the car wishing she hadn't opened the door like that, but it wasn't like she knew he was in pain. "Jiro would handle anything else that comes up so it's pretty safe to say that I'm going to be doing my job. And thanks a lot for making this a hell of a lot harder than it needs to be."

"How the hell am I making your job harder?" Her tone was demanding, not liking one bit that he was blaming some fault on her. "As I said if it is your job I'll leave. God why are you being such an ass?" Reiko hissed pulling the car door opening it to climb in slamming it shut as hard as she could pulling the seat back into place.

Ruka frowned looking at Suke through the window then back at Reiko who refused to look anywhere near either of them. Her eyes were hard and it almost looked like she was trying not to cry. Sighing Ruka got out of the car and moved around to Suke to touch his shoulder.

"Ne Ouji-sama, I got pain killers on me. Do you want some?" His voice was gentle and he really wondered why they were bickering so bad. They had seemed close before and every time he had met either of them.

Daisuike sighed rubbing his forehead. He was going to be in one kind of pain or another so he didn't really see what it mattered. He didn't want to admit it, but he was exhausted. More exhausted than he could remember being in a long time.

"I'm fine. Lets just go. The sooner we get home the better."

Ruka nodded as they got into the car, but that didn't stop him from passing the bottle of pills to Suke. Reiko was still refusing to look at either of them. He really hoped she wasn't crying. He hated it when girls cried, it was really a sad thing to see. Rubbing his forehead he headed towards the bar but pulled out his phone making sure Reiko couldn't see it.

Sending a text to Suke he closed it silently as he continued to the bar.

'Do you want me to take her home?'

Daisuike opened his phone reading the text. He glanced over at Ruka and shook his head. It wouldn't do any good and would just make her even madder. Closing the phone he slid it back into his pocket. She had helped him a lot with the Fudoka-kai and he was grateful to her for that, but that didn't mean that she had to tag along every time she thought she might be needed.

He set the pills in the cup holder. If he was going to have to go take care of something he needed to be fully alert. It might be painful, but it was necessary.

Ruka frowned both at how he set the pills aside and the shake of his head. It was irritating that he wouldn't take the pills and there was nothing he could about the situation with Reiko. Sighing he just drove to the bar. Parking it outside of the bar he looked at Suke.

"Do you want me to wait for you guys? I don't mind. Just turn the stereo on and I'm good." He smiled trying to diffuse the situation a bit. The tension between his love and Hime-chan was still pretty high and he wished it wasn't so.

"You might as well come in. I don't know how long this is going to take and I don't want you waiting out here that long." Daisuike opened the door and slid out doing his level best to move normally. He held the door open waiting for Reiko to get out. If it was something he thought she could handle helping with he wasn't too prideful to ask, he just didn't want her getting hurt. He'd rather her not get involved at all, but just being friends with Akira did that much.

Reiko slid out of the car, grabbing the pills. Moving to block Daisuike sheshoved the pill bottle against his chest holding it there and glaring at him.

"Take at least one. It'll numb the pain but your head will still be in the game." There was in a look in her eye that told him she was serious about it. "Just do it. If you're already stiffening this much it'll be obvious to the enemy that you're weak."

Ruka leaned against the car top grinning, "I vote for that idea."

"Majority rules. Take a pill." Reiko's lips twitched into a half smirk, half smile as she let go of the bottle so he could take one.

Daisuike took the pill bottle glaring at both of them, but it didn't hold any real heat. Grudgingly he took a pill out quickly swallowing it. Handing the bottle back to Reiko he turned to go inside.

"I'm never going to get a moments peace with you two around." He mumbled.

"Nope!" Both chorused together grinning and then laughed as they followed him inside the bar.
