Part 18
Chapter 18.
It was comfy... comfy, warm, relaxed, and nice, Sajore felt extremely good. Then his mattress shifted and sighed. That sigh was Xir’ag’s “professional” sigh. The sigh the drow used every time he had to do his job, even when he didn’t really want to do it. He sighed again.
“We have to visit the village tonight,” Xir’ag mumbled under the heavy weight and got a groan back from his blanket. “Why? Can’t we just enjoy life and relax for one night?” Sajore scratched at his chin. Sometimes he felt like he was growing a beard, even when he knew he wasn’t. Maybe it was one of those Armaros things. The demon must have been really hairy.
“We’ve been relaxing for ten nights in a row and I have a few things that I need to buy, so we need to go there tonight.” Xir’ag huffed.
“Can’t you talk to the stable boy in the morning and ask if he can bring you the stuff you need?”
Xir’ag was quiet for a while and then sighed again. “We have to go there, Sajore, but we can go hunting after that. How does that sound?”
“That sounds like a fairly good plan.” Sajore grinned and jumped up. After the mentioned hunt, he didn’t feel so sleepy anymore. He jumped down, ignoring the steps and walked in front of the big clothes cabinet and opened it, selecting a long, green tunic, brown suede pants and brown boots and tossed them to Xir’ag. “These will be better than your cloak when we walk in the forest. Besides, it’s getting cold outside already.”
Xir’ag took the clothes without a word and started to dress himself. He trusted Sajore to tell him what he should do here more than he trusted his own judgement; everything was so different in the surface.
They had spent the last few weeks exploring their little farm and house and had found many useful things. The humans had really thought about everything when preparing the house for them. There was a hidden room behind a fake wall for Xir’ag’s spell items and other things that they wanted to keep safe and away from curious eyes. There was also an extra balcony on top of the small kitchen and they had dragged their bed up there to be completely safe from any light that could get inside from the door or the windows downstairs. And now they had more room downstairs for practise.
They had found several extra blankets that they could use to cuddle under. Then there was the fireplace; they were both very happy about that. They had already gotten used to their fireplace-cuddle moments and now they could continue them here; and already had. There was even a soft fur, which they could borrow from the bed when they felt like it. This really seemed like a perfect home.
The women of the village seemed to be extra helpful with the decorations. When they had arrived, the house had been full of flowers, which Sajore had tossed out as soon as he could. Too much was too much. There had also been a frilly apron hanging in their kitchen, next to the oven, but Sajore had thrown that into the fireplace. Their closets were full of clothes that would keep them warm, even in the middle of the winter. There were several pairs of leather boots and warm, nice jackets, tunics, gloves, hats and pants, everything that they might need.
The stable boy, Andrei, was the only person who visited them regularly on their farm. The boy had brought Xir’ag fresh food and a map, telling Xir’ag about the nearby area and where they should go if they wanted to see great views and where they should look for ‘food’ for Sajore. Andrei had also shown them how the sauna worked, if they wanted to get warm during cold nights. They were sure it would become useful in the winter, but right now they had plenty of things to get used to already. The nights were slowly getting colder and darker but it was still quite warm. The days were still light and warm enough to go out without a coat and the sun still made Sajore sleepy.
A few villagers had tried to visit them too, but always during the day. They had gotten a rude answer from behind the door as the sleepy, irritated vampire asked them to go away and never to come back, only to leave whatever they had brought behind the door. But the women were hard to drive away, they came back time after time, hoping to get a glimpse of their mysterious guardians. Sajore and Xir’ag kept themselves locked behind their doors during those visits, so the only people who had seen them so far were the stable boy, the head of the guards, and the few guards who they had met during their walks in the forest.

Xir’ag woke from his thoughts as Sajore, who was already prepared to go out, swung the heavy door open, letting fresh air into the warm house. The drow shivered as he put on the warm tunic and pulled on the long boots. The vampire huffed outside, jumping around, ready to go. Xir’ag sniggered at his enthusiasm, walking out of the house, closing the door after them and followed the vampire, who was already running towards the forest.
“So, we will visit the village. Are we finally going to show ourselves to them or sneak in and out?” Sajore yelled at him, running fast around a tree and then towards him again.
“Of course we will sneak. Where would be the fun in revealing ourselves?” Xir’ag laughed back as the vampire tackled him to the ground and lifted him up again, brushing the brown leaves off from his clothes.
Soon they were at the borders of the village and facing the same, poor guard who had been scared of them on their first visit. This time the man looked a lot calmer as both of them smiled at him and passed him without a word. The village was still full of life, though the shops were closing. People were walking on the long main street, hurrying to finish up with their everyday chores. The men walked past the humans without once looking at anyone, heading toward the same house they had visited on their first visit.
Their knock was answered quickly and a round, red face of a small girl appeared on the door. The girl stared at them with huge eyes and then suddenly started bawling. Xir’ag stared at her in horror. Her mother hurried from inside, scooping her into her lap and laughing at the men, invited them in.
“Don’t mind her, she has never seen elves before. You can wait in the kitchen,” she said, walking the wailing little girl inside. Xir’ag rolled his eyes as he sat in front of the table and Sajore sniggered, sitting next to him and grossing his arms on the table. “Kids,” the vampire chuckled with a soft voice and Xir’ag turned to look at him, looking slightly taken back. “You like kids?”
“I like them when they stay away.” Sajore laughed back and Xir’ag sighed with relief. “Why do you ask?” the vampire cocked his head and smiled softly at Xir’ag.
Xir’ag lifted his face, smiling back sadly. “We will never have kids.”
Sajore grinned. “I’m sure we can look after Shaya’s kids when she has some, if you want to torment yourself.”
Xir’ag looked shaken. ”Sajore, Shaya can’t have children with Yvain.”
It was Sajore’s turn to look surprised. “What? She never told me that.”
“I don’t think she likes to talk about it. But think about it; Yvain is a fire spirit and she is a vampire. The pregnancy would kill her.”
Sajore lowered his head. How had he never thought about it? And Shaya had never talked about it to him. He should have realized it was not easy for her either. He flinched as Xir’ag stroked his hand with his and made him wake from his dark thoughts. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said anything so suddenly. Now you’re sad,” the drow whispered, looking into the vampire’s thoughtful eyes.
Sajore smiled warmly at him. “I should have realized it sooner. I will bring it up with her the next time we see them.”
Xir’ag smiled back.
They were disturbed by the huge man who walked into the room, wearing his full uniform. “Hello, boys. I was just about to go on a tour. What brings you here, anything amiss?”
“No, everything is fine. I just need to get a few things and I thought you could advise where I could perhaps find them?”
“It depends of the things you need.”
“Some ink, salt, and paper,” Xir’ag said, hoping the town would have some stashed somewhere. Those were things that were very hard to get at the Underdark.
The man laughed with his booming voice “I have all those things here, just a moment and I will pack some up for you.”
Xir’ag looked at him in surprise and then smiled widely. “Thank you, I’m very glad.”
The man left the room.
Sajore chuckled next to the drow, leaning his forehead against his shoulder. “You should have asked me. I’m sure Andrei could have brought you those things.”
“But they are so expensive, I couldn’t have asked him.”
“Darling, those things are not rare here, everyone has writing materials and salt is used in every kitchen.”
“Really?” Xir’ag seemed slightly embarrassed.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
They walked around in the dark forest, Xir’ag sniffing the cool air and looking around in amazement, smiling softly as Sajore ran up and down the hills and kept peeking into caves and holes. Sajore, who stopped for a moment to keep company to Xir’ag, wondered why the drow was frowning, He stopped on his tracks, looking worried. “What’s the matter?”
“The nature, there’s something wrong… it’s dying,” Xir’ag whispered worriedly, holding a brown, crackled leaf on his hand.
Sajore walked to him and scooped up a handful of red and yellow leaves from the ground. “The nature is getting ready to sleep during the long, cold winter. This is what happens every year, it’s not anything serious.”
“Oh, that’s good,” Xir’ag answered, kneeling down and observing the leaves that had dropped from the trees. “They will wake up in the spring?”
“Yes, they will, everything will be freshly green and new then.” The vampire looked around, he was obviously having difficulties concentrating; he was getting so hungry.
Xir’ag stood up and slapped the vampire on the buttocks. “Go eat.” He laughed and with a grin
Sajore ran away. Finally he got a scent and started following the strangers away from the village they were protecting. He signalled for Xir’ag to go on ahead, he would catch up when he had his stomach filled.
Xir’ag was about to yell after him to make sure he wouldn’t eat anyone innocent, but before he did, he realized that Sajore would know it already and the yell could alarm the people he was tracking.
The drow turned and walked ahead, not really knowing where he was going, but trusting the vampire to find him wherever he was. His sense of smell and direction weren’t as good as Sajore’s, so there was always a chance he could get lost, but he wasn’t really worried. Soon he arrived at a lake and tossed off his shoes to sink his feet into the cold water. He squeaked at the surprising coldness as his warm skin touched the surface, but still dunked his feet under the freezing water, sitting on a smooth rock. The cold felt good on his sore feet, he was not used to walking on this irregular terrain yet and his new shoes felt strange and hard on his feet, causing him blisters.
They had been on the surface for a few weeks now and Xir’ag was still thrilled with everything he saw, heard and sensed and didn’t think he would ever get used to it all. Sajore was slowly trying to get used to the sunlight and stayed up for longer, waking up earlier. Xir’ag did his best to test his different abilities on those moments and slowly he could feel some improvement, at least Sajore wasn’t falling asleep during their conversations in the middle of the day anymore. But he still wasn’t able to make love with Xir’ag when the sun was up. It demanded perfect darkness for him to perform, if they tried it during daytime, Sajore got tired early and couldn’t get himself up for long.
Xir’ag turned his face to the sky and breathed in the crisp air deeply. He heard a sound of footsteps from far away and turned around, reaching for his knife. He dropped his hands and relaxed as the familiar pale figure of his vampire lover walked closer, grinning like a maniac with his lips and chin red with blood. Xir’ag smiled back at him.
“Anyone else who saw me in the middle of the night in a dark forest would run away screaming.” Sajore chuckled as he dipped his hands to the water and spilled it on his face to wash away the blood.
Xir’ag snickered. “Oh you can make me scream any time you want to.” He leaned on one arm and spread his legs slightly.
Sajore turned to look at him and winked. “Was that an invitation?” He leaned closer and Xir’ag grabbed his hair into his fist and yanked him closer.
“What do you think?”
Sajore growled with pleasure and claimed the drow’s lips into a deep, passionate kiss.
Xir’ag moaned against his lips and dragged the vampire closer until he was straddling the drow’s lean hips and sitting on his lap. He was so much taller that he had to crouch down and Xir’ag had to lean up to be able to kiss him properly, but neither of them seemed to mind the uncomfortable positions.
Sajore grinned as he finally let Xir’ag catch his breath. “I want you.”
“Oh you do? I didn’t notice.” Xir’ag laughed back, licking his lips and glancing at the vampire as a wicked grin rose to his lips. “And what would you be willing to do to have me?”
Sajore growled and thrust his hips against Xir’ag’s stomach. “Anything you want me to do.”
“Anything?”
“Anything.”
“Then get up.”
Sajore frowned. “-And get us home as fast as you can, I don’t want to fuck in the middle of these thorny bushes, we tried it once and my butt was full of splinters after that.” The drow glanced up at the vampire with a wicked glint in his eyes “And I have a little surprise waiting for you back at the cabin.”
Sajore grinned and before Xir’ag even realized it, he was lifted up and thrown over the vampire’s strong shoulder and they were heading back to their house. Sajore was running so fast it brought tears to Xir’ag’s eyes.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
They were back in the yard in what seemed like a very short moment. Sajore grinned madly as he dropped Xir’ag down. The drow took his hand and led them into the cabin without once looking at him. When they were in, he barred the door and turned to look at Sajore while leaning back against the door. “Undress and lay down on the bed on your back. Wait for me there, I’ll be right back.” With those words he left Sajore alone, disappearing into his secret study behind the fake wall.
Sajore stood in the middle of the floor, surprised. Then he shrugged and stripped off his pants, throwing them into a corner and walking up the short steps, and flopped onto the bed. He didn’t have to wait long until he heard rustling from behind the wall from downstairs.
“Close your eyes,” Xir’ag’s seductive voice demanded and he closed his eyes, relaxing on the bed. Soon he heard the creaks of the stairs and a soft thump as the drow dropped something to the floor. Then he felt a weight press on the bed next to his still form and sensed Xir’ag close to him.
Xir’ag straddled the vampire and lifted his arms up, tying them quickly up with a long rope. Sajore listened to his every movement, saying nothing and keeping his eyes closed. Soon he let out a surprised gasp as he heard Xir’ag pull rattling chains from under the bed. He practically heard Xir’ag’s grin as the drow lifted the chains up and shook them so he could hear the clatter. The drow locked the chains in place on his wrists and on his ankles and tightened them so that Sajore had to open his legs wide and lift his hands far above his head. Of course Sajore could break the chains, but he wouldn’t, that would spoil the fun in this. Sajore purred, his erection pulsing strongly against his stomach.
Xir’ag stepped up from the bed and walked around it. Suddenly Sajore was hit with a sharp lash and yelled out in surprise, finally opening his eyes. His eyes went huge as he saw Xir’ag standing naked in front of him. Somehow the drow looked much taller than he usually did and Sajore’s eyes drifted down his long, lean legs to his feet which were covered with red leather boots with a high heel. These were the kind that the priestesses in drow houses wore, but he had never seen them on Xir’ag. He looked damn good in them! Sajore lifted a questioning brow.
“You don’t like them?” Xir’ag smirked. “They are just another little gift from Shaya”.
Sajore chuckled as Xir’ag suddenly lashed the whip he was holding against his thigh. “You look delicious.”
“You get to taste me in a moment,” the drow purred, walking closer to the bed, swaying his hips and hitting himself softly on his leg with the whip again. Sajore growled like an animal and tried to move forward. The chains stopped him and he let his upper body drop to the sheets.
The bed creaked softly as Xir’ag stepped on it again, lifting himself up until he was standing over Sajore, looking down at him. He was wearing nothing but the boots and looked amazing. His eyes were glowing red under the veil of white hair. Sajore wanted to touch him so badly he burned. He tugged softly at the chains, making them clatter. Xir’ag smirked, slowly starting to lower himself down, right on top of Sajore’s face. The vampire let out a suffocated yelp when his organ jumped painfully against his stomach. He licked his lips.
Xir’ag lowered himself down on top of Sajore’s face and took a hold of his hands that were up against the bed post. He entwined their fingers and whispered, “Taste,” in a low voice. Sajore growled and lifted his head enough to reach him. He licked his thigh and Xir’ag lowered himself a bit more for Sajore to reach him properly. The vampire’s tongue ventured between his ass cheeks and rose to meet his scrotum, suckling the skin softly. Xir’ag sighed and squeezed his fingers tightly. Soon Sajore found his way down below his balls and licked and bit carefully at the soft, tender black skin until Xir’ag moved, demandingly. He pressed his tongue against his tight opening and pushed until he was let in. Xir’ag gasped and shook over him as he thrusted his tongue in and out of him.
Sajore wanted to touch him so badly with his hands and his body that the lust made him growl deep in his throat. He moved his whole body up, hopelessly trying to reach the drow above with more than just his mouth. “Xir’ag,” he moaned against the black skin and got a soft panting as a reply. Then Xir’ag moved up and away until he was standing over him again. ”Are you going to break the chains if you want to touch me?” he asked with a breathless voice. Sajore stared at him for a while and then nodded. There was no point in lying about it. Xir’ag grinned and sat on his thighs.
Slowly he came closer and finally their noses touched each other and the drow’s soft breath ghosted against his skin. “What if I tell you not to break them?”
“Sometimes my mind shuts down when the pleasure gets to be too much,” Sajore answered, kissing his lips softly and grinning. Xir’ag answered the kiss passionately. As their kiss deepened, Xir’ag said a simple spell word against his lips and Sajore’s head fell against the pillows, his mind slightly fuzzy. “Huh?” Sajore whispered, trying to grasp what was happening.
“Say if you want me to stop?” Xir’ag whispered into his ear and Sajore blinked, trying to move and realizing he was unable to do so.
“I know this spell,” he chuckled at Xir’ag, who was now staring down at him.
“Yes, you do. So you know you won’t be able to break the chains,” he purred into the vampire’s ear, stroking his stomach, his fingers avoiding his straining erection. Sajore growled. “Is this okay by you?” the drow asked with a whisper, biting the vampire’s earlobe. Sajore moaned and nodded, still trying to move even when he obviously would not succeed. “You only have to say stop, and I will, I don’t want to hurt you,” the drow ensured and Sajore nodded again.
After the okay Xir’ag suddenly jumped up and turned around, returning to sit on him backwards so Sajore was faced with his ass in front of his face. The drow took a firm hold of Sajore’s legs and moved them more apart. He pressed his chest against the vampire’s stomach and moved on top of his erection, finally giving him some long wanted, delicious friction. His chest was strangely oily and felt incredible as it rubbed against his cock.
Sajore stared at his wriggling ass and whined loudly, struggling against his tied up wrists with all his strength. The chains crackled and still his body refused to move.
Then Xir’ag dove between his legs and suckled at his balls, nibbling the tender skin softly. Sajore groaned loudly and dropped his head down. Xir’ag tightened his grip on his thighs and sucked his thigh, giving him a huge hickey. The vampire’s hips tried to rise up and meet him, but wouldn’t move. He lifted his head and tried to get close enough to touch Xir’ag’s ass, but that was denied to him too, the drow was too far and moving too fast. Not that he was caring about that too much anymore; he was beginning to feel too good to care. He pressed his head against the pillows again and enjoyed the delicious touches.
Then the drow was gone again. He sat up and jumped down from the bed, walking to the bundle he had dropped to the ground as he had come to the balcony. Sajore observed with heavy eyes as he lifted the bag to the bed and dug out a long object that was hidden inside a fabric. Xir’ag unfolded the fabric and revealed a perfectly formed hard penis. It was the same color as Sajore’s and looked like his too. Sajore’s eyes widened and he let out a surprised sound, his eyebrows shooting up.
Xir’ag turned to him and walked around the bed corner, holding the thing on his hand like a priceless object.
“Where did that come from?”
“I had to try some spells in Shaya’s laboratory, so I made this. It’s you.”
“Me?” Sajore laughed.
Xir’ag smiled nervously and nodded. “I shaped it with magic to be like you. I don’t know why I made it, but I knew it would become handy one day.”
“And that day is now,” Sajore answered, eyeing the heavy cock with critical eyes. He had once taken Armaros in and it didn’t hurt, it couldn’t hurt that much, could it? Was he really that big?
“Did you make it bigger?” he asked, arching his eyebrow.
Xir’ag blushed and jumped on the bed, turning away from him again. “Not that much.” he mumbled.
Sajore only laughed. “Just make sure you lock it away from Armaros or we will both be in trouble,” he warned Xir’ag. Then the vampire felt the huge cock press against his opening and all thoughts escaped him. Xir’ag had put lube on it so it was slippery and warm against his entrance. He couldn’t help but to tense up even when he knew he shouldn’t.
Xir’ag turned to look at him and moved close enough to kiss him softly. Then he was pressing the big thing into him. Sajore’s muscles fought back and it hurt slightly as the big cock finally plunged into him. He panted heavily, pressing his face against his arm and bit down to keep from groaning.
It felt so painful and still so good. His eyes rolled back. When he lifted his face again, his eyes were turning yellow.
When he was completely filled with the big thing, Xir’ag held it down for a while longer and then whispered a long spell. Sajore waited to see what would happen and then he felt it. The cock was pulsing inside him like a living thing. He had to whine as the pleasure tightened in his stomach and made his body shiver; it was hitting his prostate with every pulsing movement it made. He shut his eyes and bit down at his arm so he wouldn’t yell out, his legs were trying to open up more and his hips were automatically thrusting up.
Xir’ag turned to face him again. He was so close Sajore could have kissed him if he was coherent enough to do so, but at the moment, he wasn’t.
His lips and chin were red with blood from the wound he had bitten on his arm and his cheeks were flushed. His eyes were half closed and he was panting hard, his hips thrusting up and down with quick movements as he was fucked by the magical cock.
Xir’ag’s eyes softened as he watched the pleasure withering vampire. “I love you,” he whispered and kissed Sajore’s lips softly. The vampire was panting and couldn’t reply with words, only a whimper came out of his mouth as he turned his yellow, glowing eyes to Xir’ag. The drow reached for the lube again, opening the tube and stroking Sajore’s penis with his slick fingers. Sajore groaned and moaned and his head tossed from side to side. “Oh gods, Xir’ag!” he yelled out as Xir’ag positioned himself above him and slowly sat on his cock. The vampire’s hips were thrusting up enough so Xir’ag didn’t really have to do anything, just ride him. He pressed his hands on Sajore’s chest and let the vampire move for him. Silently he wondered when Sajore would realize the spell that was binding him to the bed was no longer affecting him.
The chains clattered as the vampire took a firm hold of the bed post, lifting himself higher on the bed. His legs were pressed against the lower side of the bed so he could lift his whole body up. He was so full he wanted to scream and Xir’ag’s tightness on his cock was driving him completely and utterly mad.
They were both panting loudly as Xir’ag leaned in to kiss Sajore. Suddenly he pressed his tongue against the vampire’s long, sharp fang. Blood spilled against Sajore’s tongue and he growled deeply. His eyes were now completely yellow.
Xir’ag arched his back, riding the vampire rough and hard, stroking himself as he moved. He licked his lips and spread the blood more. Sajore could sense it and leaned up to kiss him again. They both moaned against each other’s lips and as Xir’ag pulled up, Sajore cried out in wanton pleasure.
Xir’ag nuzzled his neck suddenly, bringing his neck so close to the vampire that he couldn’t refuse. He bit down hard enough to break the skin with his fangs. Xir’ag cried out from the pain and pressed his fingers against the vampire’s arms, not even trying to move away as the vampire licked at his neck again and again. The blood trickled down his neck onto his chest and dropped on to the sheets and on Sajore’s chest, smearing everything red and sticky. Xir’ag touched the wound and smeared his lips on the blood, kissing the hungry vampire deeply.
Suddenly Sajore started to whimper loudly and his whole body started to shake. His eyes were almost white as he pressed the bedpost with his fingers and pushed with his legs so hard that the bed creaked. He started to let out short yells and his hips thrusted harder and faster. Xir’ag stroked himself harder as the vampire let out a beastly howl, spilling himself inside Xir’ag.
An instant later Xir’ag shook from an intense orgasm and shot his sperm out over both of them. He yelled out a muffled cry against Sajore’s neck, letting the vampire lazily lap at the blood as he did so. They fell on top of each other into a pair of very satisfied, tired, messy, panting men.
Xir’ag nudged the vampire’s neck, mumbling against his skin and finally untying the vampire’s hands from the chains, but he left the ropes on. He knew Sajore could rip them off whenever he wanted and his own fingers were shaking too much to loosen the knots, he would only end up hurting the vampire’s wrists if he tried. “I think you liked that game,” he lifted his eyes to look at Sajore with a wicked grin on his tired face. Sajore glanced at him from the corner of his eye, resting his head on the pillow, his cheeks still flushed.
“Yes, very much.” He looked slightly uncomfortable but was still smiling lightly. “I would appreciate it if you would remove the cock from my ass though.” He whispered out with a tired grin on his face. He looked very satisfied.
Xir’ag laughed apologetically and reached behind himself, pulling the big artificial cock out of the vampire’s ass slowly. Sajore breathed through his teeth and finally relaxed. “Will I be able to tie you up like this again? Will you let your guard down?” Xir’ag grinned a lopsided grin, but blinked when he felt Sajore’s cock wake up inside him.
The vampire looked at him under his eyelashes. “Whenever you want,” he purred.
“You really liked that game, didn’t you?” he purred against the vampire’s lips, nibbling his lower lip between his teeth and letting him taste his blood again. Sajore grinned, but said nothing, only moving slightly inside Xir’ag, making the drow gasp.

Xir’ag trotted tiredly to their little yard lake, wearing only a small towel around his waist. He dropped the towel into the water and knelt down, starting to scrub himself clean with the cold water. He shivered as the water splashed against his warm body, but it felt good to get all the sticky stuff off. When he was done, he lifted the wet towel off the water and onto his face and flopped down to the grassy ground, sighing.
He was naked and it was slightly too cold to sit outside after his quick bath, but he didn’t mind the cold, it was refreshing and felt good after all the excitement and heat. He stared at the little lake, starting to untangle his messy hair slowly, smiling contently to himself. Sajore would be too tired to do anything and the sun was rising soon, so he decided to let the man sleep.
He was very tired and lost in his own musing, so he never sensed the familiar scent of Andrei as the boy walked into their yard. The human boy noticed their open door and curiously walked closer to see what was going on, it was not usual for them to keep their door open during the day. It smelled stuffy inside as he glanced in from the door and as he heard nothing, stepped inside. He glanced up to their bed, seeing the rumbled sheets hanging half off from the bed. Then he saw the motionless form lying on his back on the bed and went pale.
The man was completely still, not even his chest heaved with breath. He looked dead, the only colour on his face being the blood that was smearing his chin, cheeks and lips. His wrists were tied to the bed post and his arms were streaked red like he had been hit or scratched. As he moved closer with rising panic, he saw the sheets were stained with blood too! Andrei gasped with horror and ran up to the balcony and to the bed, glancing around for whoever had done this. He tried to find Xir’ag with his eyes, but the drow was nowhere to be seen.
Sajore cringed and woke up from his slumber as he was suddenly touched roughly on his arms which were still tightly tied to the bed posts. Xir’ag had forgotten to untie him, damn.
He blinked to consciousness as he realized it was not Xir’ag who was so close to him. The first thought that came to him was to see if Xir’ag was hurt and his eyes flew open. Then he recognized the stable boy's horrified scent and groaned.
“Hey, hey, calm down, everything’s okay,” he mumbled tiredly as the boy tried to yank his hands free from the rope.
“But there’s blood everywhere and someone has tied you up and what happened to Mister Xir’ag?” Andrei yelled; his eyes huge in his pale, scared face.
Sajore yanked hard at the rope and it ripped loose from the bedpost. “Chill! Everything’s okay. Xir’ag is getting water and I was just sleeping.”
At the same time Xir’ag ran inside the house with furious red eyes. His hand was lifted and a fiery flash was crackling around him. Andrei froze where he stood and Sajore yelled for Xir’ag to stop. It took the drow a split second too long to stop and realize what was really happening and by then he had sent the flash towards the boy.
Andrei looked horrified as the crackling lighting flung towards him, but then suddenly they heard a strange high sound and the lighting turned towards the floor and burned itself out without any harm. Andrei screamed, dropping onto his knees as Xir’ag ran up to them and Sajore sat up on the bed.
The drow had put the wet towel onto his hips so he wasn’t completely naked. “Are you okay?” Xir’ag asked the boy who by now looked like he was about to start crying from the shock. The drow glanced up at Sajore, asking with his eyes if he was okay, Sajore nodded.
“He was tied up and there was blood and I couldn’t see you, I thought- I thought,” Andrei babbled with panicked eyes until Xir’ag grabbed his face into his hands. “I’m sorry, I should have closed the door, but it was too hot inside so I- I was just getting water outside and...”
“But how did the blood- and he was tied up? What happened?” the boy interrupted him.
Xir’ag flushed lightly and stared at the floor, searching for words to explain. Sajore was pulling the sheets around himself and walked next to them. “Andrei, how old are you?”
“Umm, I’m fifteen sir,” the boy answered, looking very confused.
“I think you’re old enough to hear this then, at least I hope you are. We were having sex and got a little too excited, so things got messy. I’m really okay, Xir’ag was getting water to wash me.”
Andrei stared up at the vampire and then his whole face turned deep red. “OH!” he yelled, lowering his head down with embarrassment “I understand, I’m sorry that I panicked,” he mumbled.
“No, you were right to panic. Something might have really happened. I was in the wrong for not shutting the door and making sure things wouldn’t get misunderstood,” Xir’ag answered him back, sitting next to him on the floor. He was also blushing and looked very ashamed.
Sajore sighed, ruffling both of their hair and sat back on the bed. “It’s a good thing you are looking after us, thank you, Andrei,” he said calmly and the boy turned to look at him, still bright red, but now also looking slightly proud.

Finally Andrei left them with flushed cheeks to take care of the animals, but he seemed truly relieved. He had promised not to mention any of this in the village. He didn’t seem to be shocked about the revelation of their relationship, Xir’ag suspected the boy had guessed it the first day he had been here.
Sajore was now sniggering at the misunderstanding and walked back to the bed, rubbing his wrists. He looked behind to find Xir’ag staring at the floor with a thoughtful and worried look on his face. The drow was squeezing his hands into fists with white knuckles. “Don’t look that worried, nothing bad happened.”
Xir’ag woke from his thoughts and smiled at Sajore who was now leaning against the bedpost with a relaxed grin on his face.
“You’re right, no need to worry,” he said, kissing Sajore and pushing him back into the bed.
He glanced at the floor downstairs, seeing the slightly burnt spot on the wood where his lighting spell had hit. ‘I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about.’
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
