Old Friends, New Fiend
Parents’ Day, a oft neglected holiday it none-the-less offered the teens an opertunity to meet and greet with the guardians of their friends and rivals. However in recent times it took on more signifigent meaning. With Reeva’s attacks and the threat of a giant destroying the city it had become a rare opertunity to spend time with those that gave you life while still in the company of one’s friends.
Our heroes were piled into Micheal cherry red sedan making good time to the Youth Center when a sudden call from Zardoz and Rotoscope. Pulling off the road our heroes lock and secure the car before they vanish in a rainbow of light flashes.
Meanwhile the doors of the Youth Center swing open wide, a monsterous mole like creature entering the establishment. Panic sweeps across the people as the creature lumbers toward the paniced crowd.
“Settle down.” His voice errily soothing draws a hush over the crowd. “Listen to my voice, be not afraid.”
The people’s reactions settling down more until the presence of the mole is almost normal.
Downtown, Ra looms over the city, his shadow casting the buildings into night while his golden hefted blade swings toward a tower.
“I got this!” Jason in his guise as the green marine exclaims as he begins a haunting battle rythem on his ochirena. The mechinzed dragon raises it’s hand as a volley of missles launch from it’s fingers at Ra. Moving the block the barrage Ra manages to only clip a chunk of the top of a building, sending debris toward the fleing civilians below. On the ground the Project H trio and the Silver Knight deal with evacuation and the faling debris as the 4 war beast join along with the dragon to force Ra out of the city limits.
Shortly our heroes arrive, quite late, to a errily silent Youth Center. The enter expected to tsee the glowing faces of their parents only to be greeted by the not so glowing faces of some very angry adults. Emerging from the kitchen the terrible mole monster laughs, his face full of turkey.
“Now my minions, destroy the jellybean babies.”
The Hydro Hag pushes her way past the teens, her amphibian features looking over the masses, their eyes glazed in a very familiar fashion. She growls.
“How dare you brain wash these people.”
“I dare,” the mole gloats, “Because I was created to, unlike you…traitor.”
“Destroy him,” The Hydro Hag growls, his hosses drawn on the advancing people. “I got detox.”
“You heard the lady, power up people.” Micheal commands.
There is a moment of hesitation as the marins take form, all save Trinity who is held back by Malcom. “Why don’t you sit this one out.”
“Negative,” she says brushing the hand away casually, “You need me. Flesh or steel I still have a duty.”
A moment later the Silver Kngiht stands ready. The mole tosses the food aside as he carges the six warriors. While a rain erupts from the hoses of the Hydro Hag.
