~*~*~*~Shidou

Saturday morning, I woke up and watched him type for a while. He looked at his ring several times and while he was thinking, he pulled his feet onto the chair and wrapped his arms around his knees so the ring was against his lips. This made me chuckle a little and he turned to look at me, blushing. “How long have you been awake?”

“Long enough to watch you. You really are happy.” I didn’t need to ask, I could see it.

He crawled on the bed, holding himself over me while I rolled on my back and got rid of the sheet to look up at him, “Yes, and so are you.” He bent down to kiss me and I pulled him down until he was laying on top of me. He was almost as happy to be there as I was to have him there. I spread my legs for him and pulled him between them. He rocked gently against me, continuing to kiss me. After a little while, he began kissing my neck.

“Go in,” I whispered, pushing down his boxers. He lifted his hips enough to get them down and then settled back on me.

“Not right now. Tonight. I wanna make you feel like you make me feel. Right now, I just want to relieve your morning frustrations.” I felt him snicker.

I held his ass as I laughed, “Morning frustrations? That’s a new one.”

“Complaining? Cause I could stop, if you are.” He pulled back so I could see he was teasing.

“I’ll save complaining for if you stop,” I said, sliding a hand up to his hair and encouraging him to kiss me. He did so nicely, his tongue sliding into my mouth, matching the rhythm of his hips as he continued to rock against me. I met his rhythm, rising to meet his strokes. He pulled back as our thrusts became jerkier, harsher. His back arched and I watched his face as he came, stroking a few more times to bring myself over.

He collapsed onto my chest and I held him. “I love watching you come, you know that,” I whispered.

“I’ve heard something like that,” he murmured in return, turning his head so he was kissing my neck again.

I moaned, “Keep that up and we’re not leaving this room today.”

“I have a driving lesson today. You can stay here all day. I’ve gotta get up.” He pushed himself away from me and looked thoughtfully at my body a moment before moving down and licking my stomach. He scrunched his face a second and then continued to lick. I caressed his head and let him do what he wanted. When he finished cleaning me, “Tastes better right out of you.”

“Yeah, it does,” I agreed. I pushed him down to the bed and cleaned him off. “Much better directly from the source, but I’m not big on waste, y’know,” I teased.

He blushed, “I gotta meet Pop in half an hour. He’s coming over here.” There was a knock on the door. Touru looked at the clock, his eyes going wide, “Damn, it’s later than I thought!”

I got off the bed and pulled on a pair of pants, “Get dressed, I’ll stall him.”

His eyes were wide, “But…”

“That’s what you get for scheduling anything before noon on the weekend!” His cheeks were bright red as I left the room.

I opened the door and Pop was there with a grin on his face, “Didn’t interrupt, did I?”

I felt my face going warm, “No, we just finished.”

“Ah, good. That should help him feel calmer about the lesson, then.” I wanted to sink through the floor. Could he get any more embarrassing? He ruffled my hair, “It’s okay. Dad and I were young, too. So, is there an unused surface in the apartment?” Yes, he could get more embarrassing. I knocked my head on the nearest wall. He laughed, “I’m sorry.”

“No, you’re not. You like embarrassing me!”

“You’re so funny when you’re embarrassed,” he countered.

“I’m ready,” Touru said from the doorway to the bedroom, his face as red as mine felt.

Pop laughed and Touru walked across the room, though he looked like he would have rather gone back into the bedroom. “If you’re not up to teaching me, then I can ask someone else,” he said softly.

Then, Pop actually managed to look sorry, “I really am sorry. We were teased a lot when we got together and we didn’t like it. We shouldn’t do it to you, should we?”

“No,” Touru replied softly, looking a little better.

Pop smiled, “You have come a long way in such a short time, Touru. It’s good to see you confident and willing to speak up for yourself.”

Touru actually smiled, “My parents encouraged it. It was mostly the time living with Andrew and Rachel that messed me up.” He grinned at me, “See ya later, Love.”

“Any requests for dinner?” I asked.

He frowned a moment, then grinned, then smoothed his face, “Something with meat.”

I felt my face getting hot, “I think we can arrange that.”

He wrapped his arms around me. “Actually,” he whispered, “let’s see if Schell is free tonight or working. We owe her a dinner, at least.”

“Good idea,” I replied, kissing him. “Have fun, be careful.” I think I was almost as nervous as he was about him learning to drive.

~*~*~*~Touru

“I will,” I replied, my stomach fluttering a little. But, I was excited, too. I would be able to visit him, visit my family. I didn’t really need to drive to get around town, but I didn’t want to be stuck with him so far away and no way to reach him if he couldn’t make it down here.

I followed Pop out the door and he handed me the keys, “We’re going to take side streets for a while since they have less traffic on them. If you feel up to it after a bit, we’ll move up to main roads.”

“Okay,” I said, my heart fluttering as I slid into the driver’s seat. It was kinda scary, kinda empowering, kinda nerve-wracking. I took a deep breathe to settle my stomach and started the car. I looked over my shoulder because I had to back the van out of the parking space and saw Shidou watching. He gave me a thumb’s up and waved and then went into the apartment again. I smiled and checked the gearshift and my foot, making sure my foot was firmly on the brake before shifting into reverse. I watched through the back window as I slowly eased up on the brake and the car slowly began to move.

“Turn to the right,” Pop said softly and my eyes flicked to him in question. “Turn the wheel like you were going left and the car will go right when you’re backing up.” I did what he told me and the van turned until I was facing toward the exit of the parking lot by the time I was all the way out of the space. “Very good,” Pop said. I grinned and shifted to drive. “We’re gonna drive to our place, okay?”

“Yeah,” I breathed. I was feeling more confident. I turned the wheel so the car would go straight and slowly let up on the brake. The van moved slowly, straightening, and I pressed lightly on the gas. When I reached the end of the parking lot, I stepped on the brake and the van lurched. “Sorry,” I said.

“It’s okay. Just ease onto the brake and a little sooner.”

“How soon?” I asked, looking up and down the street.

“That takes practice to know, but roughly two car lengths for every five miles per hour.”

I began chewing on my lip, “Okay.”

I eased out onto the street, turning right to go to their house. They lived about a mile away and there was a left and another right between us. At the stop sign for the left, I managed to stop without lurching. “Good,” Pop said. He was really good at being quiet and saying what I needed to hear when I needed to hear it.

“You’ve taught driving before?” I asked, looking up and down the street we were going to be turning onto.

“I taught Shidou and Mama,” he answered.

I grinned, “Good to know you’re experienced.” I made the turn, though I was a bit wider than I should have been. I ran up on the curb a bit, “Sorry.”

“Don’t apologize unless you’re doing it five lessons from now,” he teased me.

I laughed nervously, “I’ll keep that in mind if I hit any pedestrians.”

“Twenty points if they’re wearing plaid pants,” he countered.

I had to laugh because there was an older guy wearing plaid pants on the other side of the road, staring at us while he walked. The rest of the way to their place was pretty easy.

“Now, to the grocery store,” Pop said before I could turn into their driveway. I had to think a moment to remember where that was. Two lefts and a right. My lefts got better. I didn’t run up onto the curb by the second one, but my right was too tight and I did run up onto the curb with it.

“You’re doing well,” Pop said when I growled at myself.

“If you say so,” I growled.

“You are. Shidou ran up onto curbs the entire first lesson, every turn. Mama ran onto curbs for the first three lessons. You’re doing fine.” He looked at the parking lot, “Okay, let’s go in. You’re gonna park and then we’ll head out somewhere else.”

The rest of the lesson was just as good for my nerves. We went to the post office and a gas station before heading back to the apartment. When I parked, I leaned on the wheel and tried to settle my stomach.

“You did really well, Touru,” Pop said, rubbing my back.

Shidou was there, opening my door. “How’d it go?” he asked

I leaned on his chest and he held me. “We went to the gas station,” Pop said. He sounded proud.

“Really?” Shidou asked. “You made me take three lessons before you let me go there.

I looked over to see Pop shrug, “He’s doing very well.”

“I’ll say,” Shidou said, ruffling my hair.

I turned off the van and slid out, “Thank you.”

Pop slid over to the driver’s seat, “You all are coming back on Wednesday?”

“Yeah,” I said.

“Next lesson Thursday after work, then. We’ll start on major streets.”

“Okay,” I muttered, not really feeling up to it. Shidou took me inside as Pop started the van and left.

~*~*~*~Shidou

I’d been so worried, I spent the whole day cleaning and cooking. All the clothes, except the ones we were wearing, were clean. Lunch was waiting for us, dinner ready to be cooked. But, Touru was trembling in my arms. I sat on the couch and pulled him between my legs. He turned a little so his face was in my chest. I just held him and stroked his hair, letting him calm down.

After a while, it became obvious that he’d fallen asleep on me. I almost laughed at that. We went to bed at the same time, but he was usually up a couple of hours before me. I was wondering when it would catch up with him. I figured I’d hold him while he took a nap and then we could eat and have some fun. We did have to leave early in the morning in order to have dinner with Alana, and we were going to be in her guest room, which we both thought would be a damper on things.

When it became obvious he wasn’t going to wake up soon, I wormed my way out from under him and carried him into the bed. He didn’t so much as groan when I moved him. I laid him down and pulled off his shoes and he slowly moved to lie on his side, facing my side of the bed, reaching out for where I would be if I were there. He moaned a little, and I whispered in his ear, “I’ll be there in a little bit, Love, just sleep.” He settled down and sighed.

I ate lunch, though it was really closer to dinner time now. I cleaned up and then made sure everything we’d need was packed. I took it out to the car and by then, it was late enough for me to join Touru in bed.

When I got into bed, he kind of oozed over to me, slowly taking his normal place on my chest. This did make me chuckle a little as I fell asleep, stroking his hair. My poor lover.

It surprised me that when I woke up, he was still sleeping on my chest. When I moved, however, he looked at me, his eyes a little bleary, but more alert than I remember them being when he woke up with me before. “Love?” I asked softly.

“I wrote and was tired again, so I took a nap. I’m sorry I fell asleep on you.”

I ran my fingers through his hair, “Don’t be, my love. You’ve been staying up with me and getting up early. It’s only expected that you’d be tired.”

He leaned close to me and kissed me. “Thank you.”

I laughed, “Why?”

“For being you. I love you so much.” He buried a yawn into my chest. I rubbed his head and looked at the clock.

“Why don’t you get a shower and I’ll get breakfast for us, okay?” He nodded and slowly slid to sit on the edge of the bed. He sat there a bit, kinda slumped over. He wasn’t anywhere near awake yet. I stood and went around to help him up, “Are you okay, Love?”

“I just can’t seem to get going,” he muttered.

I pulled him to his feet and he leaned on me while we went to the bathroom. There, I stripped us both out of our clothes and stepped in the shower with him, setting the water a little colder than normal. When it hit his back, he squealed, pushing me against the wall, “What did you do that for?” he complained, worming his way behind me. “Turn it up!”

“I was trying to help you get going,” I said. The water was colder than I thought I’d set it. I turned it up and when it was at a more normal temperature, I pulled him under. “I’m sorry, Love.”

He sighed and relaxed into my chest. “Would you be offended if I slept all the way up there?”

“No, not at all.”

“If I skipped breakfast?”

“No, but I’d be worried. You didn’t eat yesterday.”

“Okay,” he said softly, “I’ll eat, some.”

I kissed him softly and washed his hair. He held me, his hips pressed against mine as his back arched a little so I could reach his head easily. He moaned a little and I could feel his body start to wake against me. This got my body to react and he moaned, “Horny pervert.”

“You started it,” I countered, still massaging his scalp. He gave a moaning sigh as I guided him under the water to rinse out the shampoo. “I love you,” I whispered against his neck when the water ran clear. I kissed down his body, holding him under the water until I was kneeling before him. His shaft was almost completely hard. I looked up and he was watching me. I licked him a few time, watching his eyes, sleepy bedroom eyes, the green very dark. This wasn’t what I wanted, though. I stood up and turned around, presenting my ass to him, bending over a little.

“Shidou?”

“Please, Touru. Please. I want to feel you inside me.”

“But, lube…condoms…gloves?” His voice was tense.

“I need you, Touru.” I pressed back and felt his shaft in the crack of my ass. “Please, just do me.” His hands were hesitant on my back.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes.” One hand left my back and I felt the water move so that it would hit me more consistently. His hands then spread my cheeks and he slowly penetrated my body. Yeah, it hurt, but it felt so good. “Touru,” I moaned, my hands braced on the wall. He was all the way in me, and I felt him drape over me, panting. “I need you, Lover.”

His hands slid up my back and then down as he pushed himself away. The water seemed cool after his body. “You could have picked a better time, y’know.”

I groaned and tightened my muscles around him. I heard him gasp and then one hand slid around me, fondling my erection, “I needed you. I was gonna suck you off, but my body needed you inside me.”

Slowly, he started moving in me, moving his hand in time to his gentle movements. “What am I gonna do with you?” he sighed, his voice losing its peevish edge. He was starting to enjoy himself.

“Keep me and fuck me regularly,” I suggested.

He groaned and started moving harder in me. I started to rock into his motions and we moved faster and faster. The water wasn’t a very good lube, but I really didn’t care just then. What mattered to me then was that he was starting to try and put me through the wall and it felt good. I groaned and moaned, and could hear him making noises like he was enjoying himself.

My body started to tighten and he slammed hard into me, shuddering against my body as his hand tightened around my shaft. I came, my head going back and his name falling from my lips. His forehead rested on my back a moment. Very slowly, he slid out of me and I started feeling like maybe he was right. I should have waited. I felt raw inside. He stood, using my hips to push himself up. I groaned and walked my hands up the wall. “You okay?”

“If I say you were right, are you gonna rub it in?” I asked, looking over my shoulder at him. Six hours of driving was not going to be comfortable.

He looked at my face a moment before his expression went from concerned to teasing, “Not just yet, but I’ll rub your back for you.”

“I’d like that,” I said, turning to face him and hugging him. He began rubbing my back, gently, though his fingers moved separately. It was an odd sensation. “Are you typing on me?” I teased.

“A little,” he admitted, laughing.

“It feels good,” I sighed, turning to kiss his ear.

“So,” he began, “No more shower sex?”

“I wouldn’t say that,” I murmured. “We just need to be more prepared.” I stood up from him, caressing his cheek, “Y’know, we don’t really need condoms. We’re gonna be together forever. We can just use lube.”

He blushed, “But, condoms are neater.”

“Clean freak,” I teased.

“Sex fiend,” he countered.

“Lover,” I returned.

“Sexy,” he nuzzled my neck. “Tell ya what,” he sighed, “We can forego condoms here, but we shower afterwards, okay?”

I pulled him close to me, “Fair enough.”

“But, if we do anything at Alana’s, we both wear ‘em, okay?”

“Fair enough,” I repeated. I could feel him blushing against my shoulder. He then tried not to yawn. I hugged him, “I’m sorry, Love. You’re tired and I made you work.”

He shook his head, “S’alright. Felt good, but if you expect me to eat, we need to get out of here soonish.”

We washed each other off and I dried him off and sent him to grab clothes while I went to the kitchen and pulled out bowls and cereal. It wasn’t my favorite breakfast, but he insisted we keep some around so that I didn’t have to cook every morning, even though I liked cooking in the morning. Hell, I really liked cooking.

~*~*~*~Touru

I just couldn’t get moving. My brain didn’t want to wake up, my body, after fucking Shidou was ready to go back to sleep. I yawned several times grabbing jeans and shirts for us. I had to sit down before I went out to the kitchen, though. I managed to convince my body to get dressed, though. I tried to remember the last time I’d been this tired, and vaguely remembered sleeping for nearly two days straight. I hoped I wouldn’t do that, because we only had three days up there and there were a lot of things I wanted to show him. I sighed and forced myself to get up and go into the kitchen. I did laugh when I saw he had cereal on the table. “I didn’t know we were running that late,” I teased.

Shidou came up to me and hugged me, “I made you work when you’re so tired. I’m apologizing. I…”

I kissed him, making him stop. “I love you. It’s not work. Thank you for breakfast. Clothes,” I handed him his clothes. I sat down. I really didn’t want to eat, but he was right, I hadn’t eaten yesterday. I needed the food, even if my mind looked at it and went ‘ick’ at the thought of eating. I ate a whole bowl, Shidou hovering around me like a worried mother hen. When I finished, though, he seemed satisfied and cleaned off the table. We then headed out to the car, him holding me around my waist.

“I’m not going to collapse or fall apart,” I said, trying not to sound peevish, even though I felt that way. I was just tired and that’s why I was snappy.

“I know you’re not. I…I just want to…help you…” he finished lamely.

I sighed and leaned against the car and pulled him to me before he could open it. “Shidou, love. When I’m tired, I’m snappy. It’s how I am. I’m really sorry.”

He kissed me softly, “I’ll stop apologizing if you do. Can we start over this morning?” His eyes plead with me. I nodded and he said, “Good morning, Love. How are you?”

I tried to grin at him, “Tired.”

“Well, then, you can sleep in the car and we’ll not tax you too much, then.” He caressed my cheek as he said it.

I wrapped my arms around him, “How did I get such an understanding lover?”

He grinned at me, “Maybe it’s your sexy hair, or your voice, or the amazing sounds you make…” I kissed him before he could go any farther and he laughed. “I’m sorry, but I did get a kiss out of it. If you wanted to discourage me, I think you’re gonna fail.”

I managed a smile, “Y’know, even Thalia had trouble pulling me out of my moods when I was tired.”

He kissed me again and opened the car door, “Well, then, let’s go and visit them. We have to share the good news, anyways.” He brought my ring up to his lips and met my eyes when he kissed it. I felt my cheeks go warm. He then kissed me, still holding my hand. “I love you,” he whispered just over my lips.

“I love you, too,” I replied as he helped me into the car. He fastened my seat belt then adjusted the seat so I could lean back. “Brat,” I complained, but I didn’t really feel snappy any more.

“Geesh, some people can’t handle any pampering,” he replied, smiling to let me know he was teasing me.

I held his cheek, “Well, in that case, pamper away.”

He kissed me, “As much as I can.” He kissed me again before closing the door and I watched as he walked around the front of the car. I smiled at him and watched as he pulled out of the parking lot. I think I was asleep before we got onto the freeway, but I remember watching him while my eyes got heavier.

~*~*~*~Shidou

He was still dead to the world when we got into town. I tried calling to him, touching him a little, but he didn’t rouse, so we went straight to Alana’s. I went to the door to let her know we were there and she seemed surprised. When I said Touru was out, she started to say something and then asked, “You all just finished finals, didn’t you?”

“Yeah,” I replied, wondering where she was going.

“It’s okay. He always crashes after finals. The first couple of days of break are the worst. Every year, twice a year, Christmas break and summer break, he’d sleep a couple of days then be back to normal.”

“Okay,” I said, feeling a little irritated that I didn’t know this earlier.

“Shidou,” she said softly. I looked at her and she continued, “He always forgot about it until it happened. He’d even forget and plan things and end up sleeping through them. Don’t be upset because you didn’t know. We tried reminding him a couple of times and it took him a bit to remember, even then.”

“I won’t harass him about it. I’ll just try to plan better, work around it, next time.” I went out to the car and worked Touru out of the seat. “Idiot,” I muttered, kissing his ear as his arms went around my neck. He mumbled something that may have been an apology and I took him into the room we’d slept in before. Alana had already turned down the sheets for me. After I got his shoes off, he again turned and looked for me on the bed. I kissed his cheek, “I’ll be here in a bit, Love, just sleep.” He settled down and I watched him sleep a little longer before bringing our stuff in and then joining Alana in the living room.

She was sitting in the chair and I sat in the couch across the coffee table from her. She had a cup of what smelled like tea in front of her, just a little lighter than her skin color. “Tonight, I have a few other professors coming over for dinner. I doubt Touru will be up for it.” She made a face like she felt badly, “We were going to introduce you around a bit, make life a little easier when you get up here. Touru knew a lot of the professors because he grew up on campus with us.” She sighed, “I can still change plans, if you want, since you’ll be on your own, mostly.”

I shook my head, “I’ve never been accused of being shy. I’ll be okay meeting everyone, even if he sleeps through it.”

She smiled, “Would you like some tea or anything to drink?”

We had a nice afternoon, talking. She told me more about Touru, about his family, how he was when he was a kid. He’d probably would have blushed most of the day, or insist we do something else, but it was nice finding out more about my lover. It was almost time for people to arrive when I went in to check on him and change. He was still sleeping soundly. He’d grabbed a pillow and was sleeping on it like he slept on me, sort of half on it on his stomach. I kissed his cheek and he moaned, “lub you,” while nuzzling into the pillow.

I caressed his hair, “I love you, too. I’ll be in with you in a little while. Sleep well.”

It was weird being the only person young enough not to have grey hair in the room, but they were all nice. I met a couple of law professors, a math professor, two science professors and an archeology professor. Dinner was good and just before desert, Alana said, “Touru said he had some important news for us. Could you tell us what it is?”

I blushed and cleared my throat, “Well, when I come up here to start school, I’ll be a married man.”

Their reactions ran the gamut, from shock, to confusion, to surprise, to the ‘aren’t-you-moving-too-fast’ question. Alana looked confused a moment and then grinned. “So, Touru’s going to make an honest man out of you?”

“I asked him, so I’m making him honest,” I teased back.

“If there’s any dishonesty in that boy, it’s your fault,” she returned.

I laughed, “Well, by the time school starts, neither of us will be dishonest anymore.” I smiled and continued, “We know it’s gonna take a lot of work to make everything work out, especially while we’re in school, but we really want to be together. Pop’s teaching him to drive and he’s saving for a car. I’m trying to help him, but he’s very hard to help, sometimes. If he’ll let me help, we can make sure he has a car before the end of the summer. That will make things a little easier.”

“You’re too young for such a commitment,” one of the science professors said. I couldn’t remember his name, only that he taught physics.

“My parents have given their blessing. We both know it takes a lot of work to make a relationship happy. Sir,” I continued, sitting up straighter, “my parents have been together since high school. The four of them went to different colleges and they’re still together. I know what it takes to make a relationship work.”

He made a “hmph” noise and muttered something about fools and angles. I started to say something when Alana cut in, “I’m sure they’ll be fine. They really are very considerate of each other. I think they have a good chance of making their relationship work.”

“Just because some…”

“My dear Robert, do please turn off the cynicism. Tonight is a happy night.” Alana continued to smile, her voice was soft, but there was something in it that made me sure I never wanted her mad at me.

Robert “hmph”ed again and settled into a sullen silence. After they left, while I helped Alana clear the table, she told me his high school sweetheart had left him while they were in college. She put a hand on my arm, “But, you don’t need to worry about Touru. He adores you. I’ve met his sweetheart. She only went with him because she thought he was going to make a lot of money. She married a financier. She’s bitter and wealthy, and he’s just bitter. If I’d known what your news was, I would have left him off the guest list.”

“Well, before that, he was kinda interesting to talk to. Is he gonna hate me now?”

She shrugged, “Who knows. Physics isn’t required, so you don’t need to find out. Don’t let a few sour grapes spoil what you have with Touru.” We finished the dishes and she dried off her hands, “Tomorrow, I have dinner plans with an old friend of mine, so you boys will have the house to yourselves.” She actually seemed to be blushing.

“An old friend?” I teased.

Her cheeks got darker and she said, “Yes, an old friend who’s only in town for a couple of days.” She looked at the counter, “I may not be home tomorrow night.”

I laughed, “Well, then, have a good night. I’m gonna crawl into bed with Touru and displace the pillow he’s using as a substitute for me.”

“He sleeps on you?” she asked.

“Yeah.”

She laughed a little, “When he and Thalia were under ten, they shared a bed and he slept on her, too, but when he was older and had occasional sleepovers, he never slept on his guests. When he had nightmares, he’d crawl in with Thalia and sleep on her. It’s a good sign that he sleeps on you.”

I smiled softly, “I like it, too.” I sighed, “I’m gonna miss him sleeping on me when I come up here for school.”

“I’m sure we can find you a pillow, too,” she teased me. “Good night,” she said with a finality that halted any more comments, even to return the greeting.

I went into the room and undressed. Touru was still clinging to the pillow, fighting me when I tried to take it away from him. “Do you like the pillow better than me?” I asked just above his ear.

He stirred a little and looked at me, “I like you better. Get in.” He pushed the pillow up and rolled onto his side so I could get into bed. As soon as I was settled, he rolled back onto me.

“Would you pick me or Thalia, if you had a choice?” I asked softly.

“Don’t be stupid,” he growled, “you, of course.” He settled back into sleep and I stroked his hair for a while, listening to Alana finishing her tasks and going to bed herself.

I sighed, “I love you so much, Touru.” His arm tightened around me and I let myself go to sleep.
