WARNINGS : Okay, I know we all love Lain and Ben but this chapter is more on Alex and Zak (SEX SEX SEX, which I believe I am getting better at writing...your opinion is wanted).

Before Laraine got out of the car he leaned over and him and Ben kissed for a few more minutes. “I’ll call you later okay?” Laraine muttered before Ben was kissing him again.

Ben slid his tongue into Laraine’s warm mouth and Laraine moaned. They sat there for a moment, mouths locked and not wanting to break apart. However, Laraine finally had to pull away and smiled apologetically up at Ben. “Alright, you call later and we’ll talk.”

“Thanks.” Laraine smiled and got out of the car. He turned back around and looked at Ben. “I’ll see you later okay?”

“Alright.” Ben nodded and watched as Laraine walked towards his house.

When Laraine walked inside Anna was immediately in his face. “Lainy you need to go talk to Alex cause he locked himself in your room and is freaking out over something and wont tell me or your mom what is going on. So now it is your turn to try.”

Laraine sighed and walked up the stairs. He knocked on the door and waited a moment. “Alex, it’s Lain. Can you let me in?” Alex opened the door and pulled Laraine in before slamming it and locking it again. Laraine immediately hugged his cousin seeing Alex had been, and still was, crying. “Hey, Alex what’s wrong?” Laraine maneuvered them so they sat on his bed. “Alex calm down and tell me what’s wrong.”

“I’m such a horrible...person...” Alex sobbed onto his cousin’s shoulder. “Lainy...oh god I’m...so horrible...”

“Alex no...” Laraine put his cousin’s head and tried to calm him down. “You are not a horrible person at all Alex. Tell me what’s wrong okay? You can tell me.”


Sitting up a little Alex looked at Laraine. “I...I have a girl...friend Lainy...” he sobbed. “I have...a girl...friend...”

Laraine nodded. “I know that Alex. What does she have to do with this?”

“I...slept with him!” Alex practically yelled. Clearly not caring at this moment who heard him. “With...Zak! We...we had sex!” he began to sob. “I should...I should have said stop...or told him no...or something! But I didn’t...I let it happen! I...begged for it...and...and I have a girlfriend! I’m...horrible!”

Framing his cousin’s face, Laraine made Alex look at him. “Alex I have heard about your girlfriend alright? If she hasn’t cheated on you already then she probably will very soon. I’ve kept my mouth shut for as long as I can but I don’t want you with someone like her. You deserve someone much better then that.” he sighed and smiled at Alex. “Alex I know you really like him and I know you don’t like this girl half as much. Just be with Zak.”

“It’s not that Lain!” Alex sobbed. “I cheated on someone! I...I want to be with him! He’s so...wonderful but...I cheated on her! I’m horrible! How...how could I...do something like that?”

Pulling him back over Laraine stroked his head. “It’s okay Alex. It’s gonna be okay. I know you’re upset and I know that your are hurt but Alex I think this is for the best that this happened.” Alex looked up at him. “I really do. I don’t want you with someone like that girl. I don’t mind if you are with a girl, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t want you with someone like her.”

Alex’s sobs began to slow. “I just...can’t believe I did that. That I...cheated on someone...” he dried his eyes. “It isn’t me at all.”

A smile curved along Laraine’s face. “It’s not you.” that made Alex laugh a little. “Did you talk to Zak about it?”

“No.” Alex shook his head. “It just kind of happened...and then he dropped me off here.” he looked up at Laraine. “You know, you’ve got like...three hickey’s on your neck.”

“What?!?” Laraine yelled and jumped up running into the bathroom. “Oh my god! You’re right!”

Alex laughed. “You and Ben had fun then?” Laraine came back into the room smiling sheepishly. “Oh my god...Lainy you didn’t!”

Sliding back into the bed in front of his cousin Laraine nodded softly. “Yeah...we did.”

“Holy crap!” Alex practically jumped out of his skin. “I can’t even begin to believe this! So...was it good?”

“Alex...” Laraine blushed and fidgeted a little. “I mean...yeah...it was wonderful.”

Alex laughed a little. “God Lainy...we should like...have a party or something!”

The boy blushed deeper. “I don’t think that is necessary.” he looked up at Alex. “Alex...did you make it seem like you were upset after you and Zak had sex?”

For a moment Alex was silent. “I...might have. I think he may have gotten that idea...”

“Then you should call him.” Laraine handed Alex his cell phone and stood. “It’d be best.”

“Don’t.” Alex grabbed Laraine’s hand. “I...I’ll call him Lainy but I want you to stay in here with me.”

Laraine nodded and sat back down on the bed with Alex. “Alright, call him.”

Alex was shaking as he dialed Zak’s number and Laraine hugged him close again. “Hello?” Zak asked and Alex froze. “Is someone there?”

Nudging his cousin Laraine urged him to talk. “Hey...” Alex said softly. “It’s Alex.”

“Hey there.” Zak’s voice held worry in it. Probably simply from the way Alex sounded so scared. “What’s going on Alex?”

“I just...” Alex curled into Laraine. “I wanted to talk.”

He head Zak put something down and a door close. “What’s up Alex?”

Alex took a deep breath. “I...I was afraid that...maybe you thought...I was upset...about you and I. Because I wasn’t...I’m really happy that it happened...and I want to be with you. I was just...mad at myself...for sleeping with you when I have a girlfriend.”

Zak was silent a moment. “Alex...would your aunt mind if you came out with me for a while?”

That one actually worried Alex. “Um, I’m sure she wouldn’t. When?”

“I’ll come by in an hour or two.” Zak told him. “I’d much rather talk to you to your face than over the phone.”

“S...sure.” Alex muttered, his entire body shaking with fear. “I’ll see you then...”

“Alex.” Zak said before Alex could hang up. “I’m nod mad at you okay?”

Alex calmed down a little. “Okay...” hanging up the phone Alex rested against his cousin. “He wants to see me tonight Lainy. Said he’ll be over in an hour or to so he can pick me up.”

“That’s good isn’t it Alex?” Laraine asked his cousin. “At least he wants to see you.”

“Lainy what if he’s gonna tell me that he doesn’t want to be with me?” Alex freaked. “What if he thinks I’m just some whore for sleeping with him when I have a girlfriend? What then?”

Laraine smiled and hugged Alex. “Just talk to him Alex. I don’t think that Zak is going to do that to you. You just need to go out with him and get things straitened up.”

Alex nodded and sat up. “I have an idea...how about you come with?”

Laraine broke out laughing. “Yeah right Alex. You are doing this alone.”

“Hey!” Anna yelled and knocked on the door. “Can I come in now?”

Standing Laraine walked over and opened the door for Anna. “Sorry Anna. Everything is alright though.”

Anna walked over and sat in front of Alex. “You gonna tell me what you were freaking out about now Alex or am I gonna have to threaten you?”


Alex glanced at Laraine a moment before looking back at Anna. “Boy problems.”

“You mean that Zak guy that brought you home?” Anna asked and Laraine’s eyes widened. “Do you like him or something?”

“Yeah.” Alex nodded. “We...slept together...and I have a girlfriend.”

Anna laughed. “So what? That chick is a whore Alex and I know for a fact she’s going out with some twenty-year-old in like California or something. You are so better off without her. And if you are even freaking out cause you feel bad because of cheating on her don’t. She doesn’t deserve to have you feeling bad.”

Laraine sat down on the bed with them a little confused. “I know.” Alex muttered. “Right now I’m just afraid because Zak wants to see me in an hour or two and I don’t know what he is going to say. I’m afraid he wont like me because I cheated on my girlfriend.”

“Wait.” Laraine cut in. “Anna...you know that Alex is bi?”

“Uh, yeah.” Anna said like it was obvious. “Believe it or not Alex and I do talk Laraine. I also know you are into boys and that you and that Ben guy are dating. Which you could have told me sooner cause now I feel like an idiot for flirting with him.”

Laraine blushed. “Sorry Anna.”

“Anyway,” Anna turned back to Alex. “So, you are going to go see him right?” Alex shrugged. “You are going to see him Alex! You need to be with someone who is going to actually be with you. Not like that whore of a girlfriend you USED to have.”

Alex laughed. “Yeah...I guess.” he looked over at Laraine. “Lainy why are you back here? Shouldn’t you be with Ben?”

The boy shrugged. “I wanted to come back here. You two did come all the way down here and it would be rude if I wasn’t here to hang out with you guys. So I came back. Though I don’t think Benjamin was very happy about it.”

“Of course not!” Alex hit Laraine in the arm. “Lainy you don’t have sex with someone and then tell them you want to go hang out with your cousins.”

“Whoa!” Anna looked at Laraine. “You had sex with Ben?”

“Yes.” Laraine nodded. “There, everyone knows now. Are we good?”

Alex nodded and stood. “I’ll see you later Lainy, Anna.” he walked up to Zak. “Lets go.”

The two walked out to Zak’s car and slid inside. Zak just sat there for a moment before starting the car and beginning to drive. Alex was silent, just kind of looking out the window as they drove. He felt his stomach turn as they pulled into a hotel. It was one of the nicer hotel’s in the town and Alex was surprised that Zak parked in the parking lot.

When they made it up to the room Alex looked around in amazement. “Zak this is amazing.” the room was so nice. He didn’t think he had ever seen something so nice besides on television. “I can’t believe you actually got this room.”

Zak took Alex’s hand in his and walked them over to the bed so they could talk. “Alex why are you upset?”

“Oh...” Alex remembered the reason that he had called Zak in the first place. “Because of what I did. I don’t regret sleeping with you or anything like that. I just was upset with myself because that’s not me. I cheated on her and that is not me!”

“ I can understand that.” Zak nodded. “You don’t think I feel differently about you do you? Because I don’t at all.”

Alex lowered his head. “I...I was afraid you would feel differently about me. That you would think I was just...some whore for sleeping with you.” Zak could see Alex’s hand trembling.

Zak lifted Alex’s head. “Well I don’t Alex.” he smiled at the boy. “I really like you and it’s partially my fault because I knew you had a girlfriend but I was really trying to ignore that fact cause I really do want to be with you.”

A blush covered Alex’s face as Zak pulled him over into his arms. “But I could have said no and I didn’t...” he curled into Zak. “I’m just upset with myself for what I did. But I want to be with you not her.”

“That’s good.” Zak kissed the top of Alex’s head. “Because I want to be with you also.”

Alex gasped as Zak pushed him back against the bed and crawled over him. They began to kiss and Alex wrapped his arms around Zak.
