I had spare time after school waiting for Melinda to finish clear her desk of work, and honestly, I didn’t very much mind the extra wait, especially since Amanda was with me in a very, very distracting way. My side was still sensitive so she wasn’t able to slowly tease me like she used to with her hands slowly pressing into my sides. Instead she had her hands on my inside thighs, massaging slowly upwards but not coming into contact with my core.
Honestly, I didn’t know if I was pissed at that, or in bliss. The feel of her lips on my neck had me thinking the latter. Her hands didn’t avoid my heat for long though. I shuddered at she touched me very lightly, outlining my underwear delicately.
“You’re driving me mad Amanda.” I hissed. She giggled sending a rippling tremor through my neck and down my body.
“You know you love it.” she murmured. It was true but I wasn’t about to admit it. A knock came at the art room door and we froze.
“Are you coming Saige?” Melinda’s voice asked
‘Almost.’ “In a minute.” I answered pouting as Amanda pulled away and started helping me put my supplies back into order while I rearranged my mind.
“You alright hun?” Amanda asked sweetly giving me a hand up. I took it and glared at her, or tried to at least.
“I’m missing something…” she giggled and I shook my head and grabbed my bag. I opened the door to see Melinda walking down the hall. Most all the students were gone for the day, as were the teachers, so I snuck a swift kiss with Amanda before running down the hallway to catch up with her
~~~~~~~~
“What is your problem with me really Cecilia?” I asked with a smirk on my face. She looked as though she was on uneven ground as I held eye contact with her. “Really, I want to know.” she looked away. A furious blush on her face. “You know what, whatever.” I said shaking my head and walking away.
“You think you’re all that just because you can draw!” she cried after me. I stopped and turned
“What gave you the idea that I think I’m ‘all that’?” I inquired, drawing my eyebrows together.
“You’re always so cocky all the time. It frankly makes me sick.” she spat out, looking furious… but her anger wasn’t directed at me.
“There’s a problem with your logic though…” I replied slowly, “I don’t act cocky.” I made to turn around again when I heard a frustrated groan. Her hands were covering her face and she was now biting her lower lip in an attempt to keep herself quiet, and frankly, although I didn’t really care for her, it had me curious.
“You’re good at drawing, you don’t have to try in math, your French is almost impeccable, you do advanced calculus, you can sing, act and are good at sports.” she started to ramble and I had to stop her
“Wait, how do you know I can sing? No one knows that!” frankly I made sure a lot of people didn’t know some of the talents I had. The fact she knew all that was more than a little disturbing. But she continued as though I hadn’t said anything like she would burst if she didn’t let it out.
“Your hair is such a pretty shade of brown that looks almost gold in the sun, your eyes seem to flash red when you’re mad and sparkle when you smile, and your smile…” my jaw dropped
“Cecilia…”
“I like you Saige. I’ve watched you since we started high school and I thought I was mad for having these thoughts, but… I like you… so much, it hurts.” she held her hand over her chest and I saw the desperation in her eyes. She looked like she wanted me to say I liked her too, but I was speechless. I don’t think I would have been able to give her the answer she wanted to hear even if I could speak. “Saige…” she looked pitiful and I inhaled, closing my eyes
“I… need to think about this…” I whispered ‘What are you talking about? She’s been a bitch since day one high school and you want to give her hope when your heart already-’ my train of thought stopped there as I sighed
“Can I see you after school?” she asked tentatively. I shook my head. I was planning to see Angeli and Christopher for a movie. Mentally I rolled my eyes at the fact that Amanda’s parents had set her up with yet another date with Robert. I really felt sorry for her. The bell rang signifying the start of school and I left Cecilia standing in the alcove and went to my first class of the day.
We saw The Dark Knight and couldn’t help but be thrilled at it.
“I’m just sad that Batman became wanted for helping people.” Angeli groaned as Christopher laughed
“But the effects were awesome, you have to admit that at least.”
“Of course. I mean ‘Why so serious?’” I asked smiling making Angeli laugh
“Joker was the best, hands down.” my focus diverted when I heard an eerily familiar voice behind us
“Come on babe. We could have watched that chick flick instead.” I shivered and turned. It was Robert and Amanda. She was not happy to be where she was (Which happened to be under the arms of the womanizer in human form.)
“I wanted to watch the Dark Knight. Not have you try to feel me up.” she groaned ripping his hand from around her waist “I don’t appreciate being treated as a piece of meat.”
“Why not?” he asked pulling a cocky grin and folding his arm across his chest “That’s what you are anyway.” her hand connected with his face so fast, I didn’t even see it
“Way to go Amanda.” Christopher and Angeli commented next to me, apparently noticing where I was looking. They were actually drawing quite the crowd, what with Amanda’s slap and his face now contorted with anger
“You hit me!” he said in disbelief
“Yeah and I’d do it again in a heart beat.” he sneered at her
“Christopher?” I asked tilting my head at him.
“On it.” he said smiling as he lunged between Robert and Amanda, practically throwing him away. She looked shocked to see him appear and began looking around for me and Angeli. When she saw us she smiled and ran over while Robert got the fight of his life.
“It looks like Chris was just itching to let loose doesn’t it?” Angeli observed we laughed and Amanda laced her arm in mine making my heart stop for a few beats.
“Wanna go to the park?” she whispered discreetly in my ear. I nodded once and told Angeli I’d catch her later.
“Sure sure. I’ll tell Chris you left. He looks like he’s enjoying himself to much to try and stop him now.” she replied not taking her eyes of the fight
“Miss me?” we were under our weeping willow and I’d just texted Melinda to tell her where I was and who I was with.
‘More than you will ever know’ she had me pinned, her hair falling in her face “Not much.” I smirked shrugging
“You’re lying.” she leaned in and kissed me.” when she pulled away, I kept my eyes closed, relishing the feel. “By the way, I saw Cecilia today. She looked like shit.”
“She likes me.” I said randomly, opening my eyes
“What?”
“She likes me the way a five year old boy likes girls.” I clarified “She only just became a teenager, and puberty hit her like a bullet train.” Amanda sat up and tilted her head, still looking at me.
“Huh. That would actually explain so much…” she said after a while “What did you tell her?”
“I needed to think about it.” I replied going up on my elbows “I was in too much shock to really think about anything at that moment.” my eyes wandered past the willow’s branches and focused on the children playing happily. “But I definitely don’t like her… maybe if she stops acting like an ass we could possibly be friends, but there is no way I could love her.”
“Why?” I looked back to Amanda, her eyes held curiosity and caution. ‘Because I love someone else maybe?’
“She put me through too much hell.” I said. She let out a quiet sigh. One of relief? I didn’t know…
