Samantha
I think this might be my shortest yet not including the intro. Not only is it short, but anticlimactic. I'm already working on the next one, but I don't know when I'll get it up considering I've been busy which is the reason why it took so long to update. If you want me to redo this one let me know, and if I'm not told, I'm editing all of it after I'm finished.
Enjoy.

Today was the day that we would go get the test done. We ended up going early and it turned out completely different than I thought. There was no waiting. They said they had a record when I was born. It was amazing that they still had that information. We were all glad that they had already done it when I was born. David’s parents had asked them to do it. They had their reasons I guessed. The doctors just had to find the forms first. When they returned, we found out that I was the daughter of David. We all knew it, and it seemed a bit unreal, especially for me since I had that dream. I was more relieved than glad. I still didn’t understand how that had happened though.
[It was time for the pregnancy to come to an end. Lily was excited. She was going to be a mother. She had a sense of pride exuding from her. It contaminated David as he was standing by her side. The thought of them not raising her didn’t even cross their minds. It was the best day of their lives. The fact that it was a girl made it even more fascinating to them. It was all they could ask for, but they would lose it all in a few more moments.
“You’re going to have them test it, aren’t you?” David’s mother whispered.
“Of course,” they weren’t in the room with them, but it was safer this way, “after what you found out.”
“I just thought that it was odd that there weren’t any stains.” She waved it off. “It doesn’t take a genius to figure out.”
“I’ll talk to the doctor afterwards.” He said as a scream came from the room.
It was time for her to be born, but the pain involved was different than she expected. It was unlike anything she had ever experienced. All her abdominal muscles clenched and cramped against each other. Then on top of that, she had to push with those muscles as well. It wasn’t named ‘The Curse’ without a reason. And it was working it’s course in her case. She held comfort in her heart however since that man she loved was standing next to her.
It was relatively short despite it seeming to take forever for her. David was relieved that the ordeal had passed so quickly. He didn’t like to see her in pain. He was glad that it was his, and hated that Nathan had had his way with her. The thought of him pushing himself onto someone sickened him. He still saw that lust in him as well. He hoped that Eveline didn’t fall prey to him as well. She seemed to want it though. He didn’t know why he was thinking about them right now. This time was for both Lily and him to rejoice in. It was a baby girl, and, unlike some men, he actually didn’t mind not having a boy.
“She’s beautiful.” David looked down at her after they cleaned her. “Lily, you made a beautiful baby.”
“I didn’t do it alone.” She smiled at him as he handed her to her. “I know what to name her.”
“What is it?” He asked still staring at the baby he helped create.
“Samantha.”
The doctor took the baby and head out to the infirmary. He was greeted with David’s parents at the door. They followed him telling what they wanted. He was unsure why they were doing this, but agreed nonetheless. It would take some time, but they were willing to wait. Even though the baby was being adopted, it was a smart idea to have a record of its blood parents. It was for that reason that he agreed. In a few weeks notice, they would know that she was David’s.]
“I remember the day you were born.” David looked at me after everyone else left. “She had a wonderful smile on her face. She had the perfect name for you. She was the one that named you.”
“Really?” I was really happy about that. “I’m glad to hear that.”
“I knew you were mine to begin with.” He looked serious. “There wasn’t any way you couldn’t be. I saw myself in you. I know you look almost exactly like Lily, but there are some of my features in you.”
“How long have you known?” And why didn’t you say so sooner?
“Since you came in the first time.” He sighed. “I told Lily, and she didn’t want me to say anything. I know I already told you, but she wanted to say so herself, but she died before. Then, Nathan…”
“I want to be mad at you,” he could’ve told me, “but… I can’t. I don’t know why, but I can’t be mad at you.”
“I’m sorry.” He got up and started to leave. “Really, I am.”
Looking down, I thought about all that has happened since I started going to that place. Things have been both better and worse. I would’ve never met Jim though. That’s right, I forgot about Jim. I looked up and David was already gone. I was alone, and something told me Jim was too. So, I got up and looked for him. I did say that I loved him. He was even in the room. I didn’t know if he would say yes, but I was going to ask him. I wasn’t afraid to.

So the relationship begins next chapter. Hopefully it'll be a nice long chapter. I'll try my best to get it up as soon as possible.
Enjoy.
