Sorry, it took so long, but I was in the middle of working out the ending and I wanted the story finished before I left on vacation. Most of these questions are probably answered but this is what I started a while back.
Q: He is young, he is strong but doesn’t have the experience. Why doesn’t he grab Liam and mind walk to get it or the sword said it will protect him, right? It has tons to experience could it share it, couldn’t it be the key to unlocking all his powers?
A: This never occurred to me. I’ve pondered it and have come to the conclusion that Liam would not allow his Little Emperor to do that. He has hundreds of full lives in his memories/being and while those memories would provide a cushion for X’s power, it would be akin to ‘stealing’ the music teacher’s talent. You saw how everyone reacted to that. Liam has pointed out that he is taken aback by the amount of power that X can use and he is only 3 years old. Mind walking would be like reading the owners manual for your car. You might read how to change a flat, but that doesn’t take into account all the variables and the actually work it takes to do it. X might be able to get the knowledge but knowledge and power with lack of expertise leads to one thing – death for friends as well as enemies. So, I can’t really see X just taking a mind walk through Liam
Endellion: “I will make your throne on the skulls of your enemies.” That statement in itself is enough to show that our Little Emperor has a formidable weapon. A sword cuts two ways. X does not have the means to even use her yet. If he did, he would be at her mercy. X would be Endellion’s power source and she could create the world in a matter that she sees fit…which is not a good thing.
Q: A vampire gets stronger and learns control with time, but is not just any vampire this is the emperor and Hashmalliam, the one all fear. Why is he still so week. Or does he need a shock, a trauma to unlock all his power, like he got the fire wings.?
A. Power comes to those who are prepared for it. X is just barely 3. He just barely has a handle on the Phoenix. The Healing Light is taking too much of a toll and….our little Emperor I neglecting his health -- loss of weight/muscle. It would take a massive crisis to call on the power of Hashmalliam while he is still in this growing (toddler) state.
Q: Will shade help she need him in order to kill her kind. Will she bring a few hellcats?
A. As you can see, I am late with my reply. She has and she did! Morose will be back.
Q: Haley’s sense of smell, “It’s better in Lycan form. I conly need to smell something one to recognize it again. I could track Queen Nightshade now. The same with you, Master and you Sensi. So that means all Haley has to do is follow his scent.
A. In theory, Haley should be able to track much like a bloodhound. As long as X did not go airborne for long jaunts.
