Waza's Sins
Everyone has sinned. Everyone deserves to face their own sort of purgatory for those sins. Some are innocent sins that everyone must commit, lust, sloth, stealing that ten cent piece of candy just because you can. Everyone must commit one sin in their lives for their lives to be complete.
It was the beginning of the sins of those who had been scared that suddenly gave a sinner who deserved punishment for his acts his first desire to bring them under.
“I’m sorry, I do not think he is going to make it…”
Harmony glanced at Sora and Shu, who stood by their parents who looked to Fuji, a woman distraught at hearing her boy was dying in the Intensive Care Unit. He was dying and she out here with these little brats, with alcohol on their breath.
“He was driving the car…” It was Harmony who blurted out the words. “Ashe was driving the car. We had all drank, but we thought he had not touched any of it…”
Sora and Shu, horrified by her lie, wondered if it would have been better to let the lie slide. Harmony would be harshly punished for drunk driving, especially at her young ripe age. Sora and Shu, who should have known much better, turned and nodded their agreement, committing their first true sins.
They would have repented, they would have gone forward with a promise to never drink again, Ashe survived, and was a little angry for it, but treated them all normally. He treated them all as his friends. Waza watched the frayed cloth between them all start to mend and his jealousy of his nephew became too much. He wanted Ashe destroyed. There was no true start to Waza’s sins, he just simply was angry. He simply hated. Perhaps it was the union of his father and mother, the divided creatures who were ever ambitious, but not for the bettering of him, but for the bettering of themselves, making them ugly people.
Waza was the one to introduce drugs to the young adolescent innocents and he did it the wisest way he could, through the most gullible and the most with something to lose… Bliss. He did not even do it himself, he did it through Davea. He did it through Bliss’s best friend, confidante, and the woman who was in love with Bliss even in junior high. He gave it to Davea, free of charge because he wanted something that would loosen Bliss up for her, Davea gave it to Bliss, who was caught by Shu so therefore she gave it to Shu, who at the time was close to Harmony and Darrke and gave it to them as well, who in turn had invited their good friend Waza into the circle. They were captivated by something new, and if one of them would do it, all of them would do it.
Waza was even the one who put the rift between the Memeshii’s and the Kisekis.
“You know, Shu, I hate to tell you this, but you know that I Sora told me he wants to tell Fuji the truth…”
“You know, Sora, I heard Shu saying you are a wuss to just go along with some girl story, and now that we know Ashe is okay he thinks we should tell the truth. Shu can’t stand living with a liar and he can barely stand being friends with a liar.”
“Ashe, I can’t believe you let Shu and Sora tell those lies about you and you are doing nothing about it. Besides, you know how much Sora and Shu have been watching your sister lately. I think she might go for one of them, she’s so innocent…”
Sora had been the hardest to convince of wrongdoing by his friends, and he had not even been that hard. Ashe had held firm with no drugs, no alcohol, but he had been angry and unable to deal with his anger. Shu had been under the influence of the marijuana, hence making him paranoid anyway. Sora had been the hardest to convince, and so Waza had started showing interest in Yuna, showing that he was a sincere person to Sora. If Waza was a sincere person then Sora would believe him more, the Kisekis were a tight knit family… then.
While Waza fractured friendships and made the world around him paranoid with his whispered words he found it fun to toy with Yuna and Harmony. Harmony had been a hard shell to crack, she believed there was something better for her out there, but a few of the right drugs had her going a bit insane in the end. Her mind was almost completely fried by the time Ashe had come along and impregnated her. Yuna had been easy, she had been in such need of love, declaring that her mom and dad only cared for each other and the two boys more than they cared about her and Tiera that she had openly accepted Waza and the damage he would do.
Lilis and Frost were easy and done for no reason other than to continue to hurt Darrke. That had gone brilliantly.
Devilin had been equally easy, the whole world had been an easy manipulation to Waza. When a whisper of how much Rhapsody resembled Fuji, but compliant where Fuji had been hard headed, and the man could not control his needs any longer. With no Ashe around to protect her she was an easy victim to her mother’s ex-lover.
Even the night Ashe spent with Yuna and Harmony that left the two women pregnant was not all that it seemed. Ashe was always careful, he did not want children. He did not want a disease. Where he always wore a condom Waza had pricked holes in the packages, where the girls had begun using birth control Waza had switched them with candy, where the three of them usually did not all interact at one time Waza was sure to invite them over and start slipping things into their drinks, a sort of apology to Ashe for how roughly he had tried to take away the dynasty. Ashe had not fallen for it, but he had accepted the drink. All had gone as Waza had planned.
Until Sora had tried to kill him.
Waza was the reason all had gone wrong. Where the decisions were made he was the evil bird on everyone’s shoulders whispering sweet horrors into their ears. What he had not expected was their wills to keep moving. Waza had given up on life long ago and now lived off of the pain of other people, but those he destroyed… that had kept going, and finally turned on him.
The end of Waza had finally come.
But someone had to go down with him.
