Entering the Village
I'm back with more of the adventure.
Chapter 17
Mevran and Ivaylo entered the town in the afternoon. Instantly, they could feel the glares of the townspeople. Their glares were centered on the elf, who to them was nothing more then a slave.
One man approached them. He was a head shorter then either of the new comers, but it was obvious he held a lot of power in this town for the others parted for him respectfully.
"What is your slave doing free from his leash? Or didn't you realize that there is a leash law in this town?" the man questioned the werewolf.
"He is not chained because he is not a slave, he is my traveling companion. If you have a problem with that, I'm willing to address them," Ivaylo cracked his knuckles as he says this, making it clear what he means.
"We don't accept free elves in this town, get out of here if you wish to keep your heads." the man said.
The wolf began to laugh, "you couldn't hurt me if you tried human. I only wish to have my companion rest tonight under a dry roof and well be gone in the morning. Or you can try to drive us out and I'll kill all of you and then he could rest for a few days under a dry roof. Either way we win.?"
Hearing their choices, the people laugh telling him that they outnumber him and could easily kill him. Within minutes, Ivaylo killed three men foolish to try to carry out their threats. After that, they were much more accommodating. The man that first confronted them gave them a room in one of the now dead men's house.
Once they were safely in the house, Ivaylo turned to Mevran, "That was easier then I thought it would be. I thought I would have to kill the whole town. Well, at least we're safe and dry get into the bed and I'll start the fire and keep watch."
The elf looked at him woried, "what if they find Lanton or worse what if he gets sick and some animal kills him while he's weak. I should never have given in. He's all alone and defenseless without me..." The wolf snorted and informed Mevran that, from what he saw, Lanton could take care of himself for a night without too much trouble.
Oh, how wrong he was...

I know this is a little short but I've got stuff to do today.... well till the next time.
