Bang

I must say, I love Paw's reaction. Proving not only the usefulness of Sidhe powers, but that the terrorist group hasn't gone away, they just ... have gone crazy.

Actually this also demonstrates the healing power, how Sidhe deal with... frustration... and Mari's temper. I knew she had on, I just didn't think she was crazy. She's probably like those hard core spy people who always get their way.

I wrote this because I was hoping for great sex. But no. A lot of other stuff instead.

Personally, I think Mik almost pissed himself when Mari said that he was a problem.

Read, Review and Enjoy.

Stepping out of the interview, the last thing he expected was Paw still standing by the elevator, waiting for him. The Sidhe slipped his arms around Mik and kissed him deeply, tongue dancing with the man’s for a moment before Paw pulled back with one final nip to Mik’s lower lip.

“Whoa,” Mik mumbled as heat surged through him.

“Rel is having sex, go stop it.” Paw said as the elevator dinged. Paw pushed Mik onto the elevator, “a’fore we all go mad with it.”

“So a person can’t have sex any more?”

He can’t have sex no more. Go.”

The elevators closed and Mik was taken down. He arrive just as Mari snapped at the attendant and turned on him, demanding he get Palt. Mik did as he was told. Palt entered the room, Mari explained to the man and then left, yanking harshly on Mik’s arm.

“He’s wasted away, there’s almost nothing to him and he has no pre-existing conditions,” Mari growled, “he claims he ate. What the hell is going on, Mik?” Mari pulled him to a stop by the elevator and pinned him with a look, “Why is he wasting away?”

“Paw hasn’t said anything,” Mik growled back, not appreciating being yanked about by her, “he’s only talked about the male and now I have to get back.”

“Why? Rel is in there, right now-”

“And Paw is upstairs writhing in a pleasure he cannot control. Mari. Sidhe are highly sensitive and if they are not dealt with quickly, they can fall into heat, I can’t let him go into heat again, thus I have to go.”

“Why is Paw…”

The elevator doors dinged and Mik stepped on, speaking as he pressed the floor button to get back to Paw, “Paw said that Rel was having sex and I had to stop it.”

“Rel was…” the doors shut and the elevator lurched away.

Mik sighed and leaned against the back wall of the elevator. To his own thoughts, away from Mari, he asked the same questions she had, how was Rel wasting away, what was causing his sudden change? Rel was dressed, he certainly hadn’t looked like he had just had sex.

He’s very loud

Paw hadn’t said that the Sidhe was loud. Mik’s blood ran cold as the elevator doors opened. He was in the basement parking lot. When had he…?

Mik poked his head out and spotted Paw who grinned at him like the Sidhe did when Mik learned something new. O…. kay. Let’s not question that one. Mik stepped off the elevator and joined Paw by the car, kissing the Sidhe’s lips and neck.

“Does Rel have power?” Mik asked Paw.

“Rel is Aniege,” Paw responded, as if it explained everything.

Mik considered that and put a check in the possibly column and opened the door for Paw. The Sidhe climbed in and Mik slid in beside him. As soon as the car started moving, Mik pulled Paw close and began kissing the male. Lips, neck, cheeks. He didn’t think about how he wasn’t supposed to kiss the lips. He did it anyways and it sent thrilling tendrils through his body. Taboo.

Kissing turned to exploring fingers. Mik tugged at Paw’s shirt and pushed his fingers under the fabric, shivering at the feel of skin on skin.

Just as he was thinking the drive would be over, and thus they could have sex, his phone went off.

“Damn it all to hell,” Mik clicked it on, “what, Mari?”

“We have a problem.”

“Well he can fucking well wait. I’m… in the middle of something.”

“You are the problem, where are you?”

“On my way back to the complex…” Mik frowned and glanced outside, cold realization telling him that this was not the way to the complex, “man do they build fast.”

“Half-way across town, units are on their way, just… try not to get either of you killed.”

Mik clicked off the phone, tucked it into his pocket and looked at Paw. Paw clapped his hand excitedly. Excitedly. The Sidhe would have heard every word and somehow had decided that they were about to have an adventure. No. No torture or murder or ransoming involved.

“Can I?” Paw grinned toothily, threateningly.

Oh…

“Alive. Paw. I have to be alive when Mari finds me. As well as everyone else involved,” Mik sighed and smacked his head against the seat. Stupid fucking. Stupid.

Fuck.

“Mister driver person!” Paw called from his seat, “please pull over.”

“We’re almost there,” a gruff voice responded.

“Let’s try it again. Please pull over or I will have to divert the car’s electrical input directly into your body.”

“Wha….”

“He’s going to electrocute you,” Mik informed the man.

“Look, we’re almost--- gzzz,” the car jerked to the right as Mik yanked on his seatbelt. Paw made no such attempt and when the car struck the sidewalk and … something big and metal, Paw bounced about the back seat, giggling like it was the best thing ever.

The fall of water a moment later told Mik that they had hit a hydrant. Mik sighed and looked at Paw. Paw grinned innocently at him.

“He had better be alive. Paw. Or. No sex for you.”

“But,” a sad puppy dog look.

Mik had to turn away, had to fiddle with the door to get out or else he would have caved. He slipped out of the car, dialled Mari’s number and walked around to the drivers side. Using a phone around water was not the best idea, he knew, but he wasn’t just going to hang about hoping someone would come along and deal with this shit.

“Ambulance and clean up crew, contact the city to shut off a hydrant, call of the drones and four crowd control units,” he told her as he yanked open the door - the weather stripping had melted- and glanced in at the man, “he may or may not be alive.”

“Mari’s coming to you,” a male voice squeaked.

“What do you mean she’s coming to me?”

“Aniege have sent a message, he who has risen will fall.”

“Fucking hell, Paw, get down!”

“What?”

“Get down!” Mik snapped, diving over the hood of the car as the shot rang out. He hit the cement of the sidewalk, grimaced at the scrape of skin against sharp rock.

Paw staggered. Blood down his arm. The Sidhe looked at it and his mouth fell open.

“They fucking shot me.”

The next shot hit something… about a foot away from Paw and solid. The Sidhe huffed out and looked up at the sky.

“They fucking shot me. Yes. Let’s save the fucking people. Because that’s a good fucking idea. They fucking shot me and your only answer is, be nice, they’re stupid? Fucking. Shot me! Do you know how much it hurts to get shot.”

“Paw…”

“I was going to have good sex and everything,” Paw sniffled and dropped to the ground, holding his arm, trying to quell the bleeding, “and now. I’m shot. Fucking shot.” Paw sniffled as tears welled up in his eyes, “I just wanted to have sex.”

“I know, Paw, but you need to calm down, alright? An ambulance is on the way.”

Paw sniffled, “Don’t need an ambulance. I want Essuan.” Paw dropped against Mik, crying, “it’s not fair. It’s just not fair.”

“Shh, I know,” Mik struggled with his desire to comfort Paw and his desire to properly dress the wound, “it’s okay.”

“I want to kill them all.” Paw sniffled out, voice going higher, “but he,” he made a rude gesture towards the sky, “won’t fucking let me.”

“You can do that?” Mik asked Paw quietly.

“Of course. It would take a lot of time and … power…”

“How would your body survive that? You go through tremors just touching another mind,” distract him. Someone rushed to them and handed Mik a towel as Paw growled at the woman obscenely. She skittered back as Mik applied pressure to the wound, moving Paw’s bloodied hand out of the way.

“No. Mind and body are different. Killing people is easy, if you know which part to focus on. But if you don’t… then the bodies get ripped apart or they just stop working.”

“Fascinating stuff,” Mik muttered, “look, that must be Mari.”

Driving like a mad woman, she skidded to a stop inches from the car and stomped out of her vehicle. She shot a glare to the rooftops, as if daring the shooter to try her, and went to the driver’s side, dragging the man’s body out with one hand.

“We’re over here…”

“I know where you are and if you know what’s good for you, you’ll stay there,” Mari snapped.

Mik sighed. It was going to be a long. Long day. A helicopter came in over head and landed on the road, either closed off by drones or not used very often, there were no cars but Mari’s, the crews and the crashed program issue car. Koln hopped out of the helicopter, rushed to Paw and Mik and motioned for Mik to follow him.

Over the water and the helicopter, words wouldn’t really do much good.

Mik and Koln dragged Paw to his feet and got the stumbling Sidhe into the helicopter. As it flew off several pings were heard. Someone trying to shoot out the gas tank of the helicopter.

“The hell is going on?” Koln muttered, “no threat, no warning. They just. Acted.”

“Like Ayato would,” Paw sniffled, curling into Mik, “’cept he would have gotten it done right the first time.”

To the complex, they landed on the roof and pulled Paw to the steps and then onto the elevator. They went directly to the empty floor, given the thought that Essuan was likely already there. Essuan was not there, but Lillow was and she made a motion to them, drawing them into the planted area that Essuan had claimed as hers. Violet stood by with water and a cloth as they set Paw down on the floor at Lillow’s feet.

“What does a bullet do to flesh?” Lillow asked quietly, “did it shatter, did it not…”

Koln pulled off Mik’s hasty dressing and glanced at the wound welling up with blood. “This would be called a flesh wound. He’s be fine without healing, though it would take time for his flesh to mend. Have you dealt with a claw before?”

“Claw wound, yes,” Lillow murmured, nodding, “several times. I may be able to fix this. If not, all I can do is stop the bleeding, until Essuan and Souse are no longer busy.”

Mik realised Lillow was looking at him for permission, “very well. Do it.”

Lillow nodded and tapped Violet on the shoulder. The girl went running to the elevator. Lillow knelt by Paw’s head and set a hand on either of his shoulders. She peered down into Paw’s eyes and seemed unhappy.

“I am inexperienced at stitching and fixing beyond a body’s capability.”

“Just do it, Lillow,” Paw murmured, “I’ve experienced pain before.”

Lillow gave a nod and closed her eyes. Paw gritted his teeth at the possible pain but made no other motion. As if he were afraid to move, least Lillow mistake his torso for his arm. Mik noticed no change until Koln shot him a look. Mik followed Koln’s gaze back to Paw’s arm, where the edges of the wound were expelling what must have been dead flesh and even a shard of metal before skin and flesh and blood vessels stretched out like tendrils, seeking the other side. The two sides met in the middle and bulged before smoothing out to nothing at all.

Lillow let out a shuddering breath and opened her eyes. She sat back, panting and pale. Paw had a dazed look on his face as he turned it just slightly towards Mik.

“Sex now, please.”

Mik laughed.

“Being serious,” Paw said.

“I bet you are, but I’m not leaving Lillow here by herself.”

“But Violet’s back,” the elevator dinged and off walked Violet, leading Hohi by his hand. The male’s lip turned up in a snarl as he saw the three of them clustered around Paw, “Hohi will take care of her and Violet will keep it clean.”

Mik wasn’t entirely certain that he could perform for sex, after the events of the afternoon. But he did have a sudden urge to run his hands up and down Paw’s body to make certain that there was nothing else wrong with the Sidhe.

“Alright, but I can’t promise it’ll be good,” Mik helped Paw to his feet, “how about bathtub sex…”

Paw glanced at his arm and then shook his head, “wash this off and then in bed. With candles. Paw wash, Mik make room ready.”

“Saved your life, ‘ccording to Mik’s customs, Mik is now Paw’s to do with as please,” Paw gave Mik a toothy grin.

Meaning that Paw was going to take full advantage of people customs -this time.
