An unexpected mating,

‎"I'm fine, how are you? You aren't too sore, are you? I'm sorry i didn't protect you....." He went over to her quickly, hugging her and kissing her lips lightly.

 

 

 

Lana just smiled at him before pulling close to her in a hug that he wasnt expecting. "I dont blame you for what happened Auric. Neither of us didnt know it was going to happen."

 

 

 

‎"Well, i won't let it happen again...." His voice was low, his dominate growl surfacing. "I still don't know what i'll have done with that maggot when we get back...." Auric kissed her again lightly, and rubbed her tummy softly. "So this is his?" She noticed that it seemed to be growing even quicker then Lexi had, she was aware of an odd feeling presence from the unborn child. Auric's voice had got a little distant when he spoke of it.

 

 

 

 She looked away and nodded. Her brain was screaming for her to get rid of the child because of what it represented, but her heart wouldnt allow any harm to come to it. She had a long eternal battle to fight which she knew her brain would lose to. "I didnt know this would happen."

"I don't think Izulo expected it so soon either....a wolf normally takes a month and half before it's body will give birth a consecutive time....he probably had planned more time with you, but you're body recovered to quick. That and i escaped, so his plans had failed anyways...." He looked her over slowly. "Damn him....." He was still kicking himself for letting this happen to her. "You need to rest so you can heal better..." Auric laid down beside her on the bed, holding her close.



 

 

 

Lana looked at him and then at her daughter. Lexi didn't seem to notice the tension. She sucked on her thumb and looked around curiously like many children her age. "I dont wanna sleep just yet. I've been sleeping for a long time now." Lexi looked at her mother when she spoke and smiled innocently showing her gums and the little fangs that poked through. "How was she fed while I was out?"

 

 

 

‎"Elincia has been letting her feed from her. They seem to be getting along well... What do you want to do?"

 

 

 

"We need to go back. You cant be gone for to long Auric, I promise you I'm fine now."

 

 

 

‎"If your sure your up for it. It's a decent length travel." He glanced at the sun. "We have half a day to travel...at it will take most of tomorrow to get there...."

 

 

 

"I know, You may not like it but on the way back we will have to stop at another pack." Lana said while looking at Lexi as if to avoid his eyes.

 

 

 

‎"There is only one other pack in that area....you really think we have to?" Auric sounded nervous.

 

 

 

She nodded. "Lexi will need to rest along the way."

 

 

 

"How soon should we leave?" He looked at her curiously, wondering how well she could handle a travel like that.

 

 

 

‎`Another couple of days and I think I can do it.` She said with a smile as if to reasure herself and him.

 

 

 

 He hugged her, his lips brushing over her neck in a light kiss. "In the mean time i have a couple things to attend to. Elincia will be back in a couple minutes, think you'll be okay on your own till then?"

 

 

 

‎`What are you doing?` She asked panicing. the last time she was left alone was when he got captured and him leaving her side again made her uneasy.

 

 

 

"Mainly hunting. I can survive off regular food for only so long till my wolf starts to crave a chase followed by a nice meal still warm from when it was alive...." He looked a little embarassed, but he knew the easiest way to keep the beast in check was to keep it slightly satisfied so that it was content to wait. "Unless you want me to stay here. I will be fine, and i will protect you when ever you need it. if you don't want to be alone, you won't be.

 

 

 

Lana remembered when he was out of control the last time and would rather be alone with Lexi than deal with the beast. `No I`ll be fine. `

 

 

 

He turned, and ran off into the woods for his hunt, and only a minute or two after he left, Elincia was back at Lana's side. "Is there anything you need?"

 

 

 

`Blood would be nice. But I can do with out it.` Lana said with a shrug as Lexi stretched her arms towards the other woman.

 

 

 

‎"How much would you like? You can't kill anyone of course, but you can feed from as many people as you need to get full."

 

 

 

Lana looked at the woman in shock. `Youre allowing me to feed on somebody?!`

 

 

 

‎"Well, yes, why not? It's a lot healthier for you to have fresh human blood, though if you don't trust your ability to stop, let us know and we can have some brought in to you in a bottle or cup or something...."

 

 

 

It took a few moments for the initial shock to wear off before she just nodded. "I can handle it. I think 3 people should be able to get me by, any more and I wont be able to stop."

 

 

 

She left, and a little later, three people, 2 women and a man, came in. "Would you rather stand as you fed, or have us kneel at the side of your bed? and prefered body part to feed from?"

 

 

 

Lana was a little freaked out by how willing they were. "Umm your wrist is ok and I dont think I can stand since Lexi is sleeping and shes as bad as her dad about being woken up." Lana said with a slight smile. As they lined up and Lana took her fill of blood she still couldnt help but feel awkward about everything. She was glad when they left. As they were leaving though Auric walked in. "How did it go?"

 

 

 

"I've fed well enough to sat the beast for a few weeks...smells like you fed pretty well too. how was it?" He smiled at her and sat down beside her on the bed.

 

 

 

 ‎"Extremely Awkward. I never had anybody so willing to let me feed on them."

 

 

 

"Well, i've told you before, they exist out side of the war here. The elder in charge is a powerful magic user of some sort....if you say you won't harm some one, even if you plan to, you will find your self unable, so they make sure some one binds their possibilites by making them say they won't hurt anyone." He smiled at her. " This is the only safe place left in the world it seems....everywhere else is going to hell....." He looked around. "Though in a couple weeks, it will be about time to get back to reality and see what is going on with the state of the world again...."

 

 

 

‎"Auric it may be sooner because you have to go back. If you dont the pack will be in chaos."

 

 

 

"I know....i have my finger on the pulse of the situation with the pack....I stay in contact with them. So far no issues have arrisen, though we will need to go back soon...." He didn't seem happy about the idea.

 

 

 

Lana shrugged and looked at lexi. "We can go when Lexi wakes up if you want. After feeding I feel much better."
