Destiny Found Ch 2 Pt 4

Endora followed her, hesitantly to the temple. Carefully she sat upon the steps, next to the Priestess. Startled by the similarities of their features, she listened to her mothers words.

Michael could enter the realm as well, by entering a deep meditation. He didn\'t have the genetic properties to truly enter the realm like she had, he would be more like a shade in their eyes. Shutting all out around him, inhaling through his nose, exhaling through his mouth, he slowly felt himself drift from his body. Seeing mother and daughter together was amazing to him. He waited, patiently, to see if he would be invited into their conversation. He knew that it could take a long time since it was the first time the

priestess could have a real conversation with her daughter. She had passed away to early for them to have had that in the past.

"Evil cannot be destroyed. Only balance can stop it." The Priestess stopped, tilted her head as if listening. "Someone else is here."

Endora looked around. "Who?"

The Priestess only smiled. "Michael. You are welcome to join us."

In the real world, it looked like he was in a deep meditation state.

In the spirit realm, he came walking up the long stairs wearing white cotton pants, shirt and a white tie. The beautiful background could faintly be seen through him.

Turning, Endora watches his approach and smiles. The look upon Michaels face spoke volumes for the love he felt for the Priestess.

"It is good to see you again, Michael." The Priestess greeted him.

"It is good to see you too my lady" he bowed deep as he came up to the older woman of the two. "I still hold my oath to you."

The goddess nodded "I know. I am proud of you. You have done very well." Looking at her daughter. "Daughter, your path will not be easy. But trust those closest to you. All the power you need is with you. But you must have confidence in yourself. You were chosen for a reason. Remember that. Both of you."

He lowered his head a little lower. "I must apologize for my weakness the day you died. I should have been stronger" he spoke out of shame.

Placing finger under his chin, she made him look at her. "You were a child. You hold no shame. It was my fate. Do not blame yourself. Things are as they should be."

"But…" he started to hesitate his strength, the day that she died, his entire world crashed. She was like a mother to him, he even called him mother back then even if they where not of the same blood.

"My little warrior. You know things are fated. I did not want to leave either of you."

"I miss you, mother" he said in a low sad voice. Yes, he missed her like a man in the dessert missed water.

"I am always with you. I watch you both and with such pride. You gave up so much Michael for giving Endora the life she needed. Being among those she needs to protect, gave her the understanding of life. But what the price you gave was not acceptable." Placing a soft kiss upon his forehead, she replaced his memories that he lost. "A gift."

A tear fell from his eye, as he remembered her, his real mother. She was a poor village woman who had came to the sanctuary of the church with her unborn child. She started to work as a gardener and became close friends with the High Priestess early on. When he was born, even the Priestess felt like a proud mother. She even blessed him, giving him unnatural abilities. "Thank you" the faint words escaped his lips, as if he was fighting for his life not to cry.

"Tears do not make you weak, my warrior. Do not be ashamed of them."

Endora blinked back her own tears.

"As I swore to you so many years ago. I will protect your daughter even if it kills me" he said, again swearing it to them both.

"I know your heart. You have kept her safe and will do so until your time ends. I love you both."

"And I love you too. I will leave you, I am sure there are a lot of questions your daughter has for you" he bowed once more before he brought himself out of the meditation. He faded from their view.

They watched him disappear. Then looked at each other. Endora could not believe how much they did look alike. The goddess touched her face.

"Sweet child, listen to my words. Read the ancient text all the answers are there. If you have need of me, just come and ask. I am here. Follow your heart, it is your strength. Upon Tigers paw the dragon will fly." Giving her a puzzled look.

"What does that mean?"

"You will find out in time. You must go now also. Our time has ended."

"But. I just met you."

"You are magic, there are no bounds. You can return here at anytime."

She felt herself being pulled away and back to her own body.

Michael opened his eyes and saw the woman he loved so dearly laying on the ground. He looked around to see if monks were looking their way as he leaned down and gave her a kiss.
