Part 16

He smirked and said, “I knew you’d see things my way. So here are the rules. You are to do what I say, and when I want you, you have to come to me whether or not your around Daylith. It’s as simple as that.”

I glared at him and mumbled, “Whatever.”

“And I want you stop saying smug comments like that too.” He added.

I sat in the car silently so I wouldn’t break any of his idiotic rules.

I refused to look in his direction, but I could feel his eyes wandering over me as we both sat in the car.

From the corner of my eye I saw him grip the steering wheel as he leaned his body toward me, the leather seats creaked with his movements, and I instinctively moved my head in the opposite direction so he wouldn’t reach me. When he realized I was avoiding him, he stopped and smiled. “Your not supposed to be pulling away from me.”

My heart was pounding in my ears, and my hands shook as anger overtook me. Even for Daylith’s sake, I didn’t want to be the sacrifice. I didn’t want to let him touch me again.

“I can’t. I’m tired of being taken advantage of by you.”

He backed away and leaned into his seat. “Is that so. I don’t think you have much of a choice now do you.” He stated mockingly.

It was torturous. The look in his eyes, his taunting voice, the situation he has me tangled in. He was taking everything from me, any chance I had at happiness was being taken away because of this asshole!

“I thought I should just give into you, I actually thought that was the best thing to do for a minute. But I can’t, I can’t let you come near me like that again.” I said, desperately trying to control myself.

His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at me, obviously not enjoying what I had to say.

“Now I want you to unlock these doors or I’ll break the window and I’m sure whoever this car belongs to won’t be happy about that.”

I saw the corner of his mouth lift in one of his cruel smirks.

“Fine than, if this is how you want it.” He said while moving his hand towards the buttons on the side-door.

I heard the doors unlock, and I opened the door as quickly as I could and stepped out. However, the small feeling of freedom left when I saw that Marcus stepped out too.

I ignored him and started walking down the road when I noticed he was following behind me. He caught up and grabbed my arm and said, “Hold on! We aren’t done here yet!”

I became so angry at the feel of his hand tightly gripping my arm that I could feel the adrenaline surge throughout my body. I instinctively reacted by turning around and punching him in the mouth. The impact happened so perfectly that I could feel the bones beneath his flesh grind against my knuckles.

“No! It’s fucking over Marcus! I’m done putting up with you! I don’t give a shit about any of your blackmail, go tell every fucking person in the world what you have to say! I don’t care anymore!” I yelled to the point of my voice cracking.

“What about Daylith?” He asked while wiping the blood off his lip with the back of his hand.

“Daylith will find his own way of dealing with things.” I said while walking away.

I felt so satisfied in that moment. I had defended myself and ended what could have been the worst situation for me. If only that feeling could have lasted a little longer.

“Then consider Daylith dead you piece of shit!” He yelled after me.

I stopped in my tracks debating whether or not I should turn around.

“If you walk away from me now you better go home and pray that Daylith can hold his ground against five people!”

I felt the noose tighten around my neck again and it felt like something inside of me died. “There’s just no way to win is there?” I said aloud to myself in defeat.

“Timmy Latin,” He said tauntingly while moving closer to where I stood. “Who do you think you are, to just be able to walk away from me? Come on now, we all know that Daylith is a weakness of yours, so there’s no way your’re going anywhere. I mean, just imagine it. What would you do if you saw Daylith getting his ass kicked, and I mean the type that could ruin him forever? Do you think you would jump in and try to help.. or would you just stand there like the little pussy you are and watch?”

He walked around me so he could look me in the face. “You mine as well think about that now, cause unless you make the right decision, those will be your choices when Daylith comes back.”

I heard what he was telling me, but for some reason I didn’t have enough strength to get angry anymore. Instead I felt myself numbing everything out, and all I wanted was for it all to end.

“All you want to do is fuck me right?” I carelessly asked.

“Can’t see anything else I’d want you for.”

“You won’t tell Daylith?”

“I guess I can do that much for you, now get back in the car.”

I figured that I could handle this alternative more than anything else. After all, I’d rather have him use me once in a while rather than have him make everyday a living hell for me and Daylith. All I had to do was just go along with what he wanted, and then everything would be okay.

I got into the car and he started it up. “Katherine’s home, so we’re gonna have to take this to Daylith’s place.”

I wanted to argue, there was no way I could do something like that in Daylith’s house, but I knew that arguing would get me no where, so I held it in and sat quietly for the ride.

I aimlessly watched the scenery rush by through the window, and even though I didn’t see him, I could tell when he turned his head to look me over.

“Look at me.” He ordered.

I turned my head in his direction but didn’t make eye contact.

“No, I mean really look at me.” He said again.

This time I actually looked at him and I saw him glance towards the road than back at me.

“Has Daylith ever kissed you?”

I thought I told him that Daylith and I are just friends, but obviously he didn’t believe it.

“Yeah.” I said subconsciously looking at Marcus’s lips.

Once again he faced the road and I saw his lips curl into a smile. “He fucked you?” He asked.

I continued to stare at him, and I could feel the dull expression on my face as I answered, “Not all the way.”

“But he did things to you right?”

I felt like I was under an interrogation, but I couldn’t stop the heat rising in my cheeks from the memory of that night with Daylith.

“Yeah.”

As soon as I said that Marcus let out a laugh.

I was curious to find out what was so funny, but I didn’t have it in me to ask.

That didn’t matter anyway because he told me of his own will.

“You know, I wonder if Daylith and I are the same.”

I frowned at that statement. Personality-wise, Daylith wasn’t like Marcus in any way at all; to say something like that was borderline offensive.

“Let me guess how this is. Your living with Daylith, I’m not sure why yet. But anyway, he has you living with him and he’s slowly making his moves on you right? So you think he likes you right? Which is why your practically handing yourself over to me to protect him?”

I didn’t like where he was going with this so I decided to let him in on a piece of my life that he didn’t know about.

“I’m living with him because my Uncle’s abusive. Daylith is the one who took care of me when I was beaten by him, and now he let’s me live with him. And as you know, he defends me against you too.”

He smiled as if he was drawing up another conclusion. “Okay, so he plays the hero a few times, which makes you even more loyal to him right?”

“What are you getting at?” I asked, getting tired of him speaking so vaguely.

He laughed and said, “My point is that Daylith and I are the same. So what if Daylith let’s you live with him, probably makes it more convenient for him to fuck you every night. So he’s saved you from your Uncle, probably why you give into him so easily, and so what if he might be taking it slower with you, that could only be to disguise what he’s really after. Seems similar to what I’m doing, only I’m using blackmail rather than playing hero. I mean, has he ever said that he actually has feelings for you?”

I didn’t want to listen to Marcus, knowing him, this could be a scheme to pull me away from Daylith. However, I couldn’t help but find some truth in his remarks. I’ve only known Daylith for a few weeks, how would I know what he’s truly like? And even to this day I wasn’t positively sure what our relationship was.

I turned my head away from Marcus desperately fighting the thoughts from entering my head. It couldn’t be, there was no way Daylith would use me like that. He’s done way too much for me to be like Marcus.

“Whatever, I’ll let you keep that in mind, but aside from that, we’re here.”

I looked through the window to watch as the car pulled into Daylith’s driveway.

To see Daylith’s house sitting there in its simplicity brought me a sense of comfort. It wasn’t fair that it had to be ruined by the thought of Marcus going inside of it.

We both got out of the car and walked to the front door. I pulled the spare key out of my pocket and went inside followed by Marcus. I took my shoes off because they were covered with dirt from the woods, and I was surprised that Marcus had the decency to do the same.

He walked further into the house and began looking around. “The last time I was here I didn’t realize how empty it was.”

“I guess they don’t need much.” I said, even though I didn’t really want to talk to him.

Just then the phone rang and I froze in place as the sound echoed throughout the house. My heart sank into my stomach and Marcus looked towards me with a smirk.

“Aren’t you going to answer it?”

‘What if it’s Daylith?’ I thought to myself in a panic. I couldn’t talk to him; not when Marcus was standing right here in his house.

The phone stopped ringing, and I felt a small sense of relief.

I heard Marcus snicker and then he resumed looking around.

I was just about to sit down when the phone started ringing again, only this time I decided to answer it.

I walked passed Marcus to get the phone in the kitchen.

“H-hello.”

“Jesus, where’ve you been?! I’ve been calling since three o clock!”

I looked at the clock on the wall which read five. “Sorry, I just hung out outside for awhile. I spent the whole weekend cooped up in here, so I wanted to get out.” I said, hoping it sounded believable.

“Oh good, I thought I was going to come home to find you a bloody mess on the wall or something.” He said venting his worries.

“No, actually school went fine today.” I said, once again lying. Marcus walked in front of me and leaned against the wall to watch me talk on the phone.

I swallowed hard and tried to ignore him despite how nervous I felt. “So uh, is it still going good in New York?”

I heard Daylith’s voice answering me but I was distracted when Marcus began lip sinking sentences. I knew what he was doing, he was teasing me because he knew it was Daylith on the phone and if he actually spoke a single word right now, Daylith would hear him, and that would be the end of me.

“Um, sorry what did you say?” I asked while hoping Marcus kept his mouth shut.

“Never-mind, I was just saying that it could be better here. But anyway, are you alright? You sound different.”

Marcus moved away and I was just about to answer when I felt Marcus press himself against me from behind and kiss the back of my neck.

“I gotta go, bye.” I said and quickly hung up the phone.

I turned around and yelled, “What the fuck!!”

He took a step back and I saw him stare at me with that stupid smug look on his face.

“I thought we had a deal! Daylith isn’t supposed to find out!”

“Calm down Latin, I didn’t say anything did I? I was keeping my end of the deal. You on the other hand weren’t. You’re not supposed to be talking to him with me around.”

The phone started to ring again, and I just gave in and said, “Fine, just let me end this one conversation the right way and than I’m all yours, okay?”

He raised his hands up in a gesture of surrender and went into the living room.

I picked up the phone and once again said hello.

“What the fucks going on Timmy?” Daylith asked with worry in his voice.

“Sorry about that. I uh, just, I thought I heard something and it turned out to be nothing.” I said as a pitiful excuse.

“Are you sure?” He asked.

“Yeah don’t worry about it. So, uh, your coming home tomorrow right?”

“Yeah. But like I said before, I’m actually here because of my mom and she’s not doing too good right now. But still, that’s not worth talking about.”

“You sure?” I asked slightly concerned. I didn’t even think about his mom. From what I remember in his journal she wasn’t necessarily good to begin with, I couldn’t imagine what went wrong. However, I could sense that it wasn’t an issue for me to go prying into.

“Yeah. Well my dads calling me, so I gotta go. I’ll call you later tonight. I’d say we could have some phone sex but I can’t get a damn minute of peace around here. My dads everywhere I am.”

I laughed and it felt strange compared to how miserable I’ve been feeling all day. It felt good to hear his jokes again.

“Yeah, looks like that idea is out. But whatever, you’ll see me tomorrow.” I said.

“Yeah, I guess we’ll have to save the fun for later.”

I let out a short laugh and said, “Quit being an idiot and go see what your dad wants you for.”

“Fine. Talk to you later.” He said.

“Bye.”

As confident as I sounded on the phone, it was killing me to hang up. It was like holding happiness in your hand and being forced to put it away to pay attention to misery.

I lifted my hand to my face and rested it there for a minute.

“You done?” I heard Marcus say behind me.

I turned around to see him leaning against the wall with one hand in his pocket.

“You were there the whole time?” I asked curiously.

“Doesn’t matter.” He said while standing upright and walking towards me.

I turned my head so I didn’t have to look him in the face when he pulled me closer to him.

I knew that this was it, there was no way to stall or push him away anymore, this was where my end of the deal came into play.

I felt his hand on my lower back as he leaned down to nuzzle his face against the side of mine. “You sound like a fucking chick on the phone.” He said mockingly while kissing my neck. I kept my face tilted in the opposite direction as I became overwhelmed by him. He forced his hard body against mine until I was pressed against the counter that was behind me.

“If only I could have you like Daylith does.” He said so close to my ear that I could almost feel the vibrations of his deep voice.

It disgusted me to have him so close, but what disgusted me more was how my body reacted to him against my will.

“I hate it when you don’t look at me Latin.” He said angrily while grabbing my chin and forcing me to look him in the face.

“You never liked looking at me, how come?”

I gritted my teeth and didn’t respond.

“I can just see it in your eyes that you hate having my hands on you too. Am I right?”

He moved his hand from my chin to the back of my head and grabbed some of my hair to keep my head tilted towards him.

“Answer me!”

“You’re right. I hate it and I hate you.”

He smiled, “Finally I get a fucking response from you. Too bad you have to say such disappointing things.”

He pulled me out of the kitchen and pushed me onto the living room floor while he stood looking down at me. Although he was using force I could tell he wasn’t doing it to hurt me, that was at least one thing I didn’t have to worry about considering how intimidating he looked from my spot on the floor.

“I don’t understand it Latin, how is it that just the sight of you makes me want you so badly?”

It felt awkward and embarrassing to hear him say things like that to me. They weren’t necessarily things I could respond to, so I just pretended that he didn’t say them at all and continued to lay in my spot on the floor.

He knelt down and leaned over me, using his arms on either side of me for balance.

“At least once, I want to hear you say you want me.”

I didn’t want to have to say anything to him, especially something like that.

He lowered his head down to nuzzle my neck and lick my ear while saying, “At least say my name without that hint of hatred.”

It felt weird to have him acting this way. It was almost like he was begging me to react to him.

I felt him slide his fingers under my shirt and roughly trail his hand over my stomach to my chest in a repeated motion while pulling on my bottom lip with his teeth. I didn’t want to give him what he wanted because that would make me a traitor to Daylith, but I couldn’t stop my eyes from closing as my body became lost in all of the sensations.

“Marcus.” I moaned as I released a deep breath.

He pressed himself harder between my legs and rocked his hips against mine. It was such a different feeling from that day behind the hand ball court. At that time he seemed driven by anger, but now all I sensed from him was lust.

His breathing became heavy and I could feel his erection as he grinded his hips against mine.

Just then he stopped all motion and looked me in the eyes. His stare still held that flat mocking stare, only now they were glazed over as though he were in a drunken state.

He lifted my shirt to my chest so I sat up and maneuvered my arms to make it easier for him to pull it off. Once he was finished he pulled his own off as well.

I laid back down on the floor and watched as his eyes traveled over my body.

“If I were Daylith, would this be any different?” He asked.

“What do you mean?” I asked slightly confused to what he meant.

“I’m the one making all the moves here, so I wanna know if it’s because your just a pussy or if it’s because I’m not Daylith.”

I shut my eyes, trying to keep his question from sinking in. I didn’t want to be reminded of Daylith, not now, not when I was doing this. I wanted to go back into my stupor and get it all over with.

“I’m not experienced enough to be forward.” I said honestly.

He cocked an eyebrow at my answer and leaned over me again. “What do you mean? I thought you and Daylith were fuck buddies.”

“I told you already, your the only person that ever took me all the way.”

He grinned at my statement and said, “That’s right, I almost forgot about that.”

Even though it was true, I wasn’t sure why I said it to him. I guess I figured that if I could satisfy him sooner, he would leave. Apparently my idea worked.

He unbuttoned his jeans and stood up to pull them off. I was surprised when he didn’t come back on the floor but walked over to the side of me instead.

He roughly grabbed my arm to pull me up and said, “get up.”

“What are you doing?” I asked as he pulled me over to the couch.

“I don’t know if you noticed, but I’ve been kind enough to leave Daylith’s room alone. Originally I planned to fuck you in there, but I didn’t want to ruin that room for you.” He said, completely ignoring my previous question.

It was strange, but that never even occurred to me. It almost made Marcus seem more human to find out that he’d actually do something in my favor.

He placed his hand on my shoulder and pushed me down so that my knees were on the floor while my upper body was bent over the couch.

“Unbutton your pants.” He said.

I unbuttoned them like he said, trying to ignore the fact that they belonged to Daylith, until he roughly pulled them down as if he couldn’t wait another second.

“You ready?” He asked.

“Uh, yeah.” I said slightly shocked that he asked me first.

Everything seemed to happen so fast that I didn’t even notice what he used as a lubricant. Despite a small amount of pain, he went in much easier this time.

He started out slowly until we gradually got used to each other and then he stopped holding himself back.

I felt his body plunge into mine faster and rougher until my mind blanked out from the sheer feel of it. In that moment everything seemed to disappear. I forgot he was Marcus, I forgot about Daylith, I didn’t even care where I was. All I wanted was more. I gripped his hand which was using my stomach as leverage and I rocked my body with his. I heard him panting behind me and my own breathing became heavy until the feeling escalated to the point where he came inside of me.

He let about five seconds of rest go by before he pulled out, and once he did I turned around and laid all my weight on top of him.

I don’t think he was expecting that because he fell over backwards so that he was on the floor with me on top of him.

“What the fuck.” He said in response.

I didn’t say anything, I just shut my eyes, and tried to put my thoughts back together.

I wasn’t sure whether or not I actually fell asleep, or how much time went by, but I ended up opening my eyes to see Marcus walk out of the front door.

When I sat up I saw my body covered by the quilt that was kept on the couch, and that was when everything that happened re-played in my head.

‘Marcus…. I just let Marcus. Right here in Daylith’s living room. I even, I even tried to lay with him after. I.. I think I’m gonna be sick..’ I thought to myself while clasping my hand over my mouth.

I ran into the kitchen and leaned over the garbage can and vomited. I fell to my knees heaving until my stomach settled.

Right after the sickness started to go away, I heard a noise escape my throat that I haven’t heard since I last grieved my parents. It was a sob that was soon followed by multiple tears.

I tried to wipe them off with my hands but I couldn’t stop my eyes from watering. I rushed upstairs, through Daylith’s room, and straight into the bathroom.

The only thing I could think of was to take a shower. I desperately wanted to wash away all that happened, but once I was underneath the steaming water, I still felt the same.

I allowed my body to once again be violated, and by Marcus no less, right here in Daylith’s living room.

‘How will I ever be able to face Daylith again?’ I thought while more sobs continued to escape me.

“Fuck!!” I yelled while banging my fist against the shower wall. I definitely made the wrong decision, I shouldn’t have given into Marcus.

‘Do I tell Daylith? What if Marcus comes around when Daylith’s here?’ I thought to myself in a panic.

“I- I don’t know what to do.” I weakly said to myself while sliding down to sit on the shower floor. I rubbed my eyes to clear my vision, and watched as the water swirled down the drain, wishing that it could have carried my troubles with it.
