The Fight
Hi all I've returned again.
Chapter 16
They made great progress through the lands of men with their werewolf companion, over a three week period. The wolf had finally trusted them enough to change into his humanoid form, after about a week.
They were shocked to find he was a very large man standing at eight feet tall. He was well muscled, and able to carry heavy loads when needed. Long grey hair fell down to the small of his back, but they knew better to think the silvery-grey hair was due to age. He had a handsome rugged face and wore only a pair of loose pants made of fur. To look at him in his human form it would be impossible to tell he wasn't human as long as you didn't look too closely to his reflective yellow wolf eyes.
It had started to rain several hours ago, and Mevran was trying to hide the fact that he was sick from the others.
"We had better risk going into this town. It's small so if the inhabitants object there wont be too much of a problem of changing their mind." suggested Ivaylo. He had noticed the elf stumbling more then normal and suspected the worst.
"No, we mustn't enter a human town. Even if by some miracle they accept me and you they would never except Lanton, since he's a half-breed." snapped the elf angrily.
"Then you will wind up dying. I've seen the way you've been floundering all day. Either we go into the village, or you will not be around to worry about Lanton at all." retorted the wolf. He knew he was playing dirty, using the youngest of the group to get to the former rebel, but at this point he didn't care.
Lanton's eyes went wide and he turns to look at Mevran, "Y-your sick? Mevran you have to go into the town. If it's me your worried about, ill wait outside the village, but I can't loose you now."
Hearing this made the wolf pleased. Over the weeks he had spent traveling with the two, he had seen Lanton start responding to Mevran's subtle advances. Ivaylo knew it was only a matter of time before the two started fucking, and would use that knowledge to convince them to do what they had to do when needed.
"Then it's settled," Ivaylo pronounced.
"The fuck it is. I will not leave Lanton on his own, so near to a human settlement." growled Mevran.
Now it was Lanton's turn to get angry, "Mevran, I survived without anyone babysitting me for years. I can manage to be out of your sight for a day or two."
Mevran was taken aback by the half-elf's statement. He wasn't trying to baby him, and he said so but that only earned him a glare from the younger.
"Then it's settled Mevran and I will go into the town and Lanton will remain outside the town and out of sight till we return." stated the wolf, quickly. He saw that he could not yet play one off the other their relationship was still too young for that, and was quick to defuse the situation by making a comment about what was wrong with the elf.
The elf, being his usual self refused to answer the wolf, and started to enter the town where humans were the owners and elves were the slaves.
