                                                  The present

Saiai turned to look at Sora , who slept on peacefully as his father watched him with a smile . When Saiai had left Nori  , he began to put the pieces of his life together in hopes of going on with his life .In order to do so he had divorce papers drawn up and signed , and sent them to Nori thinking he would sign them too , but Saiai never knew if he received them or not  . He didn't  worry about it as long he was away  from  Nori . At the time Saiai could feel himself going insane since he lost Kira, but miraculously something happened  . Before he had left , Saiai suspected that he was pregnant again  . When he finally arrived home Saiai had his suspicions confirmed  . It was a bittersweet moment finding out that he was pregnant again  . At first all Saiai could think of was getting back at Nori for what he had done to him , but then Saiai felt that enough was enough . Now all he  wanted was for Nori to leave him in peace . Unfortunately Saiai didn't think that was going to happen  .

Hanna and Saiai  sat on the floor as they played with Sora  with his favorite foam blocks  . They both laughed as the toddler would squeal in delight as he tossed them everywhere .  Saiai pretending to get mad and watching as his son giggled at him .

“Are you having a party for Sora “?

“I'm not sure , I think I'm just going to have a dinner for him , maybe take him out somewhere  “.

“Oh . I was wondering  “.

Saiai gave a block to Sora and watch as his son connected it to another block  .

“I'm thinking of a small party , if I  decide to have one . I probably will . Did you have something in mind “?

“Me ? Um , no I was  simply curious “.

Saiai looked at Hannah and smirked .  “You're not fooling me . I know how you like to spoil Sora “. Hanna looked down as she blushed .

“ Well , I was thinking that it would be nice for him to have a party “.

“I'll think it over , but I don't know yet “.

The truth of the matter was Saiai loved to spoil Sora , it was one of the things he liked to do with him . Sadly he didn't get much time because of his position at the council  . He felt bad , but Saiai wanted to follow in his father's footsteps  , it wasn't  easy being a single parent and trying to help  his country . He thought about it and he decided to give Sora a party .

“ Ok , we can have a party , but on one condition “.

Hanna looked at Saiai curious . “Yes “?

“You plan it , ok ? I barely have time for him as it is and i feel so guilty . So help me with it “?

“Of course ! I mean that's what I'm here for , to assist you “.

Nori walked inside the building and looked around as he thought of what he would say to Saiai  . He was getting desperate and wanted his family  . He took a deep breath and headed for the elevator  . The doors closed as he walked in and he punched in the floor number and waited as it went up a few floors then the elevator chimed before the doors opened  . Nori walked out and went in the direction of Saiai ‘s office . The secretary looked and smiled politely at him .

“Hello , how can help you “?

“I'm here to see Saiai Yonamine . He's not  expecting me “.

“Oh ,I'm sorry . Councilman Yonamine is in a meeting . It should be about over ,but he's leaving after that “.

“Thank you “.  Nori left dejected  , he took the elevator down and walked toward the entrance to the building  . Just then ,he saw Saiai as he talked to some people  . Nori waited as Saiai shook their hands and they left . He quickly made his way to the other male just as he turned to leave . Saiai noticed Nori as he walked toward him and scowled . He turned and was about to go the other way when Nori stopped him . “Saiai don't make me make a scene here . I just want to talk “.

Saiai rolled his eyes and sighed  .

“I wish you would leave me in peace! If you insist on bothering me ,then you know  what will happen . Everyone will find out about Kira,  my Kira,  and how she died .  Not only that , but what you did to me “. Nori shook his head as he looked at Saiai in shock  . “You would do that ? Do you hate me that much”?

For some reason seeing the hurt look on Nori made Saiai feel guilty  , he didn't understand it , but he felt the need to erase it . He heaved a sigh as he shifted around  . “No , Nori,  I don't hate you . I just want you to give me  the peace I  didn't have when I was with you”.

“Saiai, i don't know how to make things right , I wish there was something I could do , let me know ! Please  don't punish me by not letting me see my son . I'm  willing to take anything you throw at me  ,but not that . Please Saiai “.

Saiai  looked at Nori with wide eyes and then frowned .

“I, I  don't know . I have to think about that “.

“I will beg you if I have to Saiai  . I want my family  , I need my husband back please . We can be so good for each other  . All you have to do is let us . I swear this time you won't regret it “.

Saiai narrowed his eyes and stepped away from Nori realizing how close they were . He didn't want to fall for  this again , he trusted Nori once and it had cost him his baby .

“Don't do that  . Don't  make promises you can't keep . I'll  think it over  , but I'm  not promising anything  . If , and that's if , I let you see Sora,  it will be on my terms “. Nori smiled as he closed his eyes while he felt relief at the possibility of seeing his son . “Thank you , Saiai,  thank so much “! Without thinking he reached out and hugged Saiai  .

Saiai  stood still in shock as Nori hugged him , his arms to his side  ,but he recovered and pushed himself  out of Nori’s arms . “Please -don't do that again . You still have a lot to make up for , and I'm not sure if I  can forget or forgive you “.

Nori  moved back his smile wavering a bit .

“I'm sorry . I don't  expect you to  forget what happened , you can't  . As for you forgiving me ? Well I hope you can , but that's your choice . I'm not going to try and convince you to forgive me . But I can hope “.

“I appreciate that . Okay I have to go “.

Saiai left feeling slightly uncomfortable with the way the conversation had turned  out.  While Nori grinned as he looked at him as he walked away . He really wanted Saiai back and he missed him . This time he would do  everything  in his power to make sure Saiai didn't regret it . He wanted him to stay , but he wanted Saiai to want to stay .

Daichi sag on the couch reading when he heard the door open , he looked up to see Nori walking in . He smiled  curiously as he noticed his brother's mood seemed to be happy .

“I  thought  you went to see Saiai . Did you go somewhere else “?

Nori sat down besides Daichi and smiled .

“I did go see Saiai , and I  have news “.

His interest  piqued , Daichi looked at Nori expectantly and nodded  . “And what is it “?

“Saiai  is considering letting me see Sora “.

Daichi looked at Nori in shock as he processed what Nori had just told him  . “He , he is ? Oh my God  , that's , that's great ! Can we see him now “?

“Hold on , Daichi, slow down . I said he was considering it . I'm not sure yet , if he'll  let us see Sora  .I'm  even hoping he'll be able to forgive me . That part is gonna take some effort  , but I'm willing to work on it “.

“This is great ! At last we'll be a family like we should be “!

Nori understood his brothers enthusiasm , but he had to be cautious or he would ruin his chance to get Saiai back  .

“I hope so . Just remember that Saiai is considering letting us see Sora,  and I don't want to jeopardise that . This will done on his terms  . He made that clear “.

“Okay  . I understand  ,and it doesn't matter whose terms we have to go by  , as long as we see Sora  . I'll  do whatever it takes and whatever you say”.

“Thank you . This is a small step , but a step nonetheless  .

Unable to contain his excitement Daichi leaned over and hugged Nori  ,

“I hope it all works out for you ,dear brother . Our family needs Saiai “.

Hanna was going over the party as Saiai played with sora  . Satisfied with everything she hummed in approval and turned to give a list to Saiai  .

“Everything is done and met with your approval  . This is the guest list “.

Saiai  glanced at the list curiously and nodded  .

“Awesome  . I don't know how you do it , but I know I can always count on you . “.

Hanna  looked down with a watery smile  .

“I , it's nothing . I just , it's my job".

“Oh , come on . Give yourself  some credit  ! I'm  glad you're here . I can always count  on you to get the job done , my son adores you  , I can trust you . I'm lucky to have found you “.

Hanna shook her head . “Please don't  say that ! You make me sound like some kind of saint , and I'm ,I'm not”.

Confused by her reaction Saiai frowned  .

“Hanna  it's okay  . I trust you and frankly I'm  getting attached to you just lime Sora  is “.

Saiai  ...I  have something I should tell you”.

“What's wrong ? Are you okay “?

“You see , I “...

Just then the Saiai heard his phone chime .

“Hold on a second “.

Hanna looked on as Saiai talked to whoever was on the phone . The conversion was short and Saiai hung up .

“I'm sorry,  so what was it you wanted to tell me “?

“I  , it's nothing  . Don't worry about it “.

“Are you sure ? If there's anything that's bothering you ,please feel free to tell me “.

“I know , thanks “.

Saiai watched as Hanna sat next to Sora and played with him . What just happened?

He decided to forget it and joined them on the floor to play with them .

The meeting had wrapped up sooner than expected so he left to pick  Sora up ,   Saiai  smiled happily as he walked into the building of the daycare center .  He made his way to the room where his son and Hanna should be and stopped as he head voices . Saiai stood still as he heard Hanna argue with someone  . His eyes went wide as he realized who it as .

“I can't do this anymore  . I hate betraying Saiai like this , it's  not right !”

“I'm  sorry you feel that way , but understand I needed  you to keep on eye on my husband and son . Believe  me you were very helpful in sending me pictures and information on them “.

“I don't want no part of this anymore . Saiai has been nothing but good to me , he doesn't deserve this"!

“No he doesn't “.

Both Nori and Hanna turned to stare at Saiai  in shock  .

“Saiai...I  can explain “.

“Don't  bother you traitor”.

Nori  stood up from kneeling in front of Sora  and moved back seeing the look on Saiai  .

“Saiai  I “..

“Not a word Nori  . I don't  want to hear anything  . Both of you stay away from me . To think I trusted  you Hanna . How could you “?

Hanna looked at the floor as she began to cry .

“ I'm sorry “.

With an angry glare Saiai  picked up Sora  .

“I never want to see you two “.

He left with Nori  close on his heels calling after him .

Saiai  put Sora  into the car and straightened  to glare at Nori  . “This will be the last time  you screw me over Kitamura  ! So help me if you try coming near me , I  will  tell the world your secret  . I will destroy  you “.

He climbed  into his car and drove off . To think he was actually stupid enough to want to trust him . What hurt more was Hanna’s betrayal  . He had been nothing  but good to her ! He was through with them .
