I curl up into tight ball, tears running down my face as you walk
out the door.

I’m broken, defeated, lost.

I have nothing left to give you, so why am I still
bothering?

Why do I try to get a decent conversation out of you?

That is all I can think of.

Why am I still the one to start something when it is
clear that you don’t care anymore?

Why am I the one that constantly gets knocked back?

Hear the hurt in my voice...

Open your eyes and look at me closely!

Look at the pain etched into my movements, the haunted
look in my eyes.

See the tracks burned into my face from my tears.
