Chapter Fifteen:

In a big room painted in dark red, Naru lay on a king sized bed covered in red satin sheets. Sitting beside his sleeping form, Ryuu watched Naru’s face. He had brought Naru here two hours ago after Christopher had showed up at his mansion. His face showed how tired he was from using too much of his power to teleport them here. He had performed what was necessary to save Naru’s life. He lifted Naru’s head and gave him a glass filled with his blood. The sleeping Naru drank it all. Ryuu placed the glass back on the table.

“When Naru wakes up he is going to wonder where he is. What are you going to tell him?” Christopher asked his friend as he read the chart in his hand.

“I don't have to tell him anything,” Ryuu answered his friend.

“Then how about we go out for a bit? Why don't you show me around Ryuu, after all this is your birth place,” said Christopher.

“Fine, but just for a little while. I don't want to leave Naru alone for too long.”

“Nothing is going to happen to Naru. He is under your protection Ryuu, our kind would never dare harm him.” said Christopher as he opened the door to step out.

Ryuu stepped out of the room and turned to the two men dressed in black who were standing by the door. “No one goes in there except me. If anything happens to him, you two will not live to see the next daylight, understand?”

“Yes sir,” both men said at once.

Ryuu took one last look at Naru’s sleeping face, then he closed the door.

One hour later, Christopher and Ryuu sat in a busy restaurant sipping a glass of wine.

“That cafe looks very busy,” Christopher commented when he saw his friend’s eyes on it.

“That cafe is always busy,” remarked Ryuu, still looking at the cafe.

“You’ve been there before?” asked Christopher as he sipped his drink.

“Several times,” replied Ryuu. “My parents met each other there. It is their special place. They always brought me along with them,” he told his friend with a warm smile on his face.

“Ryuu, why is it that you hate humans so much when your dad is human as well?”

“My dad used to be human Christopher. He is not human anymore,” Ryuu reminded his friend.

“It is because your dad used to be human that I wonder why you hate humans so much,” said Christopher as he leaned back against his chair.

“Don't you ever wonder why our species has the power to travel to different places and times?” Ryuu asked his friend in a low voice.

“I do,” replied Christopher.

“I asked my father once and you know what he told me Christopher? He said that our species were given this power so that we could find our other half more easily.”

“I wouldn't blame him for giving you such an answer Ryuu. After all he is madly in love with your dad.”

Ryuu smiled. It was true, his father really loved his dad. He wondered if he would be able to love someone as much as his parents loved each other. Naru’s mischievous face came into his thoughts and a small laugh escaped from his lips. He suddenly remembered a little boy he had met a long time ago when he was ten.

“I never told anyone this before. A long time ago, I liked a human.”

“Was that human a man or a woman?” Christopher asked his friend.

“It was a young boy four years younger than me. He always came with his dad when his dad came to visit my parents. He was clumsy and cute with big adorable dark brown eyes.”

“What happened to him?” Christopher asked, wanting to know more about his friend and this human boy.

“He and his dad disappeared and no one knows what happened to them.”

Christopher didn't know what to say after hearing that. “Sorry.”

“There is nothing to be sorry about. I think we should get going, we have been out long enough.” Ryuu finished off his drink and stood up. Together he and Christopher left the restaurant.

Naru was still asleep when they returned, and he didn't wake up until they were back in Ryuu’s mansion in England. Ryuu carried Naru and put him back in his room. He pulled the blanket over him and then left.

“I'll see you and Naru tomorrow,” said Christopher as he got into his car. He put his seat belt on, started the engine and drove out of the huge driveway.

Naru woke up right after Ryuu left his room. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and let out a big yawn before sitting up in bed. He got out of bed and went to have his daily morning shower. When he was done, he dressed in a red shirt and a pair of tight jeans.

“Ryuu?” Naru called knocking on his boss’s door. When no one answered, he opened it. His boss’s room was exactly like his, except that it was decorated in blue and gold instead of white and gold like his room. Seeing that the room was empty, Naru made his way downstairs and continued searching for his boss.

“Where the hell is he?” Naru said to himself after looking everywhere for his boss. This was the only room he had not checked and he hoped to God that his boss was in there. With a deep breath, Naru swung the door open and let out a sigh of relief when he saw his boss sitting comfortably in a big red chair reading a book.

“Up already? I thought that you were going to sleep till noon,” said Ryuu, looking up from his book.

“Hell no! You promised to take me out today. Like hell would I sleep in till noon Ryuu!” said Naru as he walked over to Ryuu’s side.

“What are you reading anyway?” Naru asked right before he snatched the book from his boss’s hand.

“Valerica,” read Naru and Ryuu snatched the book back before Naru could read what was written inside.

“Is there something in that book that you don't want me to see Ryuu?” Naru asked with a mischievous smile before he grabbed the book and ran out of the library.

Ryuu was on his feet right away and chasing after Naru.

Naru ran up the stairs and down the hall as fast as he could, laughing out loud. He ran into his room and tried to shut the door, but he was unable to shut it in time.

“Give me the book Naru,” Ryuu demanded in a warning voice as he slowly walked toward Naru.

“I'll give it to you if you say please,” said Naru standing near the bottom of his bed with the book hidden behind his back.

“Naru...” Ryuu said and dashed forward.

They both fell down on the king sized bed with Ryuu on top of Naru. The book was forgotten when their eyes met. They both stopped breathing for a short moment. Anger faded when a strong urge to claim Naru as his came over Ryuu. He felt himself getting aroused and from the way Naru’s eyes widened, he knew that Naru had also felt it.

“R-Ryuu...” Naru uttered softly.

“I want you Naru,” Ryuu whispered, his eyes filled with lust for the man beneath him. His warm breath brushed Naru’s cheek. “Tell me that you want me too Naru.”

“I- I- but I am a man Ryuu.”

Ryuu traced a line along Naru’s collarbone. “ I want you. My head is filled with you. You are all I dream about. Let me kiss you Naru.”

Naru didn't know how to respond to that. He remained quiet as his heart pounded against his chest and a warm feeling came over him.

Ryuu took Naru’s silence as a yes. He very slowly leaned down. Naru felt his heart racing even faster. He closed his eyes and parted his lips for Ryuu. With a gentle smile, Ryuu pressed his lips against Naru’s and slid his tongue inside, claiming Naru’s warm mouth. Naru melted into him.

Naru let go of the book in his hands and put his arms around Ryuu’s neck, clinging on to him as Ryuu kissed him deeply. His heart continued to pound inside his chest. His body became hot like he was having a fever.

“You taste so sweet like red wine,” Ryuu whispered against Naru’s ear after he ended their kiss. "And you know how much I like red wine Naru,” he said in a sensual voice, making Naru shiver as if he had been standing in a cold shower.

“Do you want to stop?” Ryuu asked in a husky voice.

Naru drew a shaky breath. “No” he replied. He wanted Ryuu to put out the fire burning inside him. The fire Ryuu had started.

With a tender smile on his lips, Ryuu leaned down and kissed Naru again, gently and deeply as his hand worked on unbuttoning Naru’s red shirt. He parted the shirt to the side and slipped it off of Naru, then he slid his hand down the soft chest to Naru’s jeans. His hand started working right away, unbuttoning them and pulling down the zipper. He slowly eased Naru’s jeans along with his underwear down his legs. Once he removed Naru’s jeans, he let them slide down to the floor.

Naru shivered from the cold air that touched his bare skin, “Ryuu...” he uttered when the kiss ended.

“Hush...” Ryuu pressed his index finger against Naru’s lips. “Right now Naru you look like the Naru in my dreams, so sexy and erotic.”

Naru couldn't help but blush, his face turned red from the neck up. He turned his head to the side. In his head he asked himself how they had gone from chasing each other to laying in bed about to do something naughty. His attention quickly shifted back to Ryuu when he felt Ryuu’s hand on his member.

"Ryuu what are you ah..!” Naru couldn't finish as Ryuu took him in his warm mouth and started sucking him.

“Ryuu... oh... Ryuu...ahh..!”

Naru grabbed Ryuu’s hair tightly and bit down hard on his bottom lip, his eyes shut tight. He soon lost himself in the pleasure he was receiving from Ryuu’s hot mouth.

Ryuu glanced up and sucked harder when he saw how seductive Naru looked when lost in pleasure. “So I just lost my virginity to you?” said Naru. He still couldn’t believe that he had just let his boss make love to him.

“Yes, you just gave me your virginity Naru, and I am sorry to say this but I don't think I can give it back to you,” Ryuu teased.

“It’s not funny Ryuu. It was my first time, and I gave it to a man and not just any man, a man who happens to also be my boss,” said Naru as he scratched his head in frustration.

Ryuu leaned forward and licked the side of Naru’s throat. He licked the spot he had bitten, making the bite mark fade away.

“What are you doing?” Naru asked when he felt his boss lick the side of his throat.

“Licking you,” replied Ryuu, then he slid out of bed and walked into the bathroom. “I'm going to take a shower Naru, do you want to join me?” he called out from inside the bathroom.

“No thanks,” Naru yelled out and lay back down on the soft bed. A few minutes later he heard the shower running. The book that he had snatched from Ryuu lay on the floor near the bottom of the bed. He crawled to the edge of the bed and picked it up. It all happened because of this damn book. If he had not taken the book then none of this would have happened Naru thought, laying the blame on the book and making excuses for himself.

Completely naked, he lay on his stomach and flipped the book open. “A valerica is a special kind of...”

“Our son is going to kill us.”

“Nonsense Ray, he will be very happy to see his parents.”

“Not likely. You know how our son is Haruka,” said Ray as they entered their son’s mansion and made their way up the stairs.

“Ryuu should be happy to see us, after all we have been gone for a while,” Haruka said as they walked down the wide hallway. They both stopped talking as they continued down the hall, opening every door to see if their son is in any of the rooms.

Naru looked up from the book he was reading when he heard the door creak open. He was surprised to find two handsome men who looked to be no more than thirty standing by the open door. They also looked as surprised as he was when they saw him. Naru reacted right away. He snatched the bed sheet and covered his naked body.

“You must be Naru. We are Ryuu’s parents,” Haruka greeted with a smile. He stepped inside just as his son came out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist.

Ryuu was taken by surprise to see his parents, “Why are you two here? Aren't you off on your sixteenth honeymoon somewhere?” he asked as he dried his hair with the towel in his hand.

“We decided to come back because we couldn't wait to meet Naru,” Haruka answered his son.

“You were the one who wanted to come back early Haruka,” Ray corrected his husband.

Haruka ignored his husband and walked over to Naru. When he got closer, his eyes widened. “Naru, is Hiro Fuyuki your dad?” he asked the boy.

“Y-yes. how do you know my dad?” Naru asked, surprised that Ryuu’s parents knew his dad.

“He is my friend. Don't you remember coming over to my house with your dad to play with Ryuu? Your dad used to bring you along all the time.”

Ryuu’s jaw dropped. When he heard what his dad said he was in shock.

“I’m sorry, I don't remember,” Naru apologized to the nice man.

“It’s only normal that you don't remember, you were only five or six back then Naru,” said Ray as he came closer to the boy. However, in his head, Ray knew that Hiro must have blocked that part of Naru’s memories with his power.

“Where is your dad boy?” Ray asked Naru.

"My dad passed away in a car accident along with my mother.”

Hiro dead? Haruka and Ray both thought not. Hiro was not an ordinary human. Then they both looked up at Naru as their eyes widened. Did the boy just say Hiro passed away with his mother? Did Hiro run off to marry a woman after he was forced to separate from the man he loved, they both thought at the same time.

“What was your mother’s name Naru?” Haruka asked the boy, trying to fish out as much information as he could about the woman Hiro married.

“Chika,” answered Naru.

“Chika was Hiro’s friend from high school. She got married and had a daughter named Miku who is two years younger than Naru. Her husband died from cancer a year after her daughter was born,” Haruka whispered to his husband.

“You think that she and Hiro married each other because they both couldn't fall in love with anyone other than the man they loved,” Ray said softly.

“Yes,” whispered Haruka.

“You know what this means Haruka,” said Ray.

“You are going to contact him,” replied Haruka.

Ray nodded his head, and looked at his son. “Ryuu, we need to talk.” With that said, he left the room.

Ryuu wondered what the hell was going on as he followed his father outside, leaving his dad alone with Naru.

Haruka smiled at the boy once they were alone. “Naru, why don't you go take a shower and get changed while I clean this room up.”

Naru nodded his head. He scrambled out of bed too quickly and tripped on the bed sheet, falling face down onto the floor. His face came in contact with the marble floor. “Ouch!” he let out, then raced into the bathroom.

Haruka put his hand on his hips and took a look around the bedroom he had designed. He had designed it as a bridal chamber for whenever Ryuu or Rei decided to get married. He always thought that Rei would be the one to use this bedroom first. Who would have thought that it would be Ryuu? With a small chuckle, he started cleaning the room up.

One hour later, Naru sat silently on the red couch in the library, staring at the glass of juice in front of him, and trying very hard to not to listen to the argument between Ryuu and his father. He was also trying to ignore the burning pain from his bum. He wondered where Ryuu’s dad had gone. The man went off as soon as they came down to the library, leaving him alone with the two angry men. He sighed and reached for the glass of juice. He took a sip and put it back on the table. He turned his head around and saw that Ryuu and his father were still arguing about a man named Luka.

“You can't suddenly tell someone that they were born from two men and expect them to take it calmly!” Ryuu hissed at his father.

“Why the hell not?” Ray almost shouted.

“Keep your voice down, you stupid father!” Ryuu snapped at his father. “The ones who should tell him are his parents, not you or Dad.” Shit, he still could not believe that Naru was Luka’s son. Why out of all the people in the world did Naru have to be that man’s son?

“Hmmm... I wonder what Luka will have to say when he learns that you deflowered his one and only son?” Ray wondered aloud while rubbing his chin. His son glared at him furiously.

“Good news everyone,” Haruka announced as he came walking into the library. “I managed to book us all a flight back to Japan tomorrow morning.”

Naru shot out of his seat so fast. “What? Tomorrow? But I haven't even seen all of England yet!” Naru whined and turned to his boss.

“If we leave now, we will be able to see all the places you wanted to visit,” said Ryuu as he walked over to Naru.

Naru’s face lit up right away. “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go Ryuu!” said Naru as he grabbed Ryuu’s hand and dragged him out with him.

Haruka smiled as he watched the boy drag his son away. “You know, I never would have thought that Hiro’s son would be Ryuu’s mate,” he said to his husband. “I knew that our son’s mate would be someone equal in power to him but I never once thought that those two would get together.”

Ray put his arms around Haruka’s waist, and rested his chin on Haruka’s shoulder. “Ryuu would never admit to himself that Naru is his mate, even though deep inside, he already knows that Naru is his for life.”

“That is because he is stubborn, just like his father,” remarked Haruka with a laugh.

“I admit that I also chose to ignore my own instincts when I met you. I refused to believe that you were my mate because I had lost someone that I loved who wasn't my mate for life.”

Haruka smiled and gave Ray a quick kiss. “Honey, do you want to make a bet?” he said with a grin.

“A bet? What do you want to bet on Haruka?” asked Ray.

“If we are going to have a grandson or a granddaughter.”

“I’m in,” said Ray with a wide grin.

Haruka laughed. “Oh, before I forget, we have to go see Christopher. My brother wants us to tell him to come home once in a while.”

“Let your brother handle his own son. We have enough on our hands with our own.”

“I already promised Itsuki Ray, so we are going,” Haruka said and dragged his husband along.
