“W- when did you come in? Y- you did not even call.” Gael said. He did not expect him to be here.

“Do I need to tell you when I am coming?” The man replied.

“N- No. Of course not. I mean, I am just surprised. It’s really very late.”

“Where is he?”

“I- in the room. I guess he is sleeping already.”

“And the baby?”

“Adrien’s in another room.” Gael replied.

“I told you to get rid of the baby!” The other man shouted.

“B- but grandpa… I will… I am trying to woe him to gain his trust!” Gael explained. This is not what his grandfather wanted. But this is what he wants. He wants Jeremy.

“You know you’re stupid! Soon you will be sorry! Of course you know your grandfather! It will only be a matter of time before he discovers all about this! Now, don’t tell me you have not touched him yet!”

“I….I…”

“So dumb! Idiot!” The man wanted to go to Jeremy’s room but Gael blocked his path.

“W- what are you going to do?!”

“If you don’t want him, then my men will feast on him!”

“No! Don’t you ever do that! It is not part of the plan!”

“You are planning on your own, Gael. And you are being very soft on him! If you think that you can gain his love by doing that, well I am sorry to disappoint you but I don’t think that will happen. He is madly and deeply in love with Charles Montgomery and you certainly know that for sure!”

“Even so! Jeremy is mine and I will make him fall for me! Now, don’t you dare go near him or I will not hesitate to kill you!” Gael said as he pointed his gun on the other man.

“You are really crazy. You think Rufus will accept you?”

“I don’t care! He will never see me or Jeremy again! I will make everything right. He will never see any of his grandsons again. And he will deeply regret what he did to me.”

“Tsk…tsk...tsk...tsk…you really still don’t get it, do you?” The other man said.

Now Gael is confused. “W- what is it?! What is it that I don’t get?!”

“You never wonder why my son left you to Rufus? Why you don’t look like your birth father? And why Rufus do not shower you with attention unlike Jeremy? And why you are having this growing affection towards your cousin?”

“W- what…are you saying?” Gael’s eyes widened.

“Am I still not making any sense at all, grandson? You can have him, and you won’t be committing a sin at all.”

“I… I don’t understand.”

“He is not your cousin, you idiot! You are not Vladimir and Adrian’s son! Their real son died! The baby died a few minutes after Adrian gave birth! But because my son does not want his husband to be sad by the news, and while Adrian is unconscious, he took you from a hospital. We never knew who your real parents are. All my stupid son wanted was for Adrian to believe that they have a son. You know, their relationship was already shaky at that time. And if Adrian knew that their son died, he would have more reason to leave Vladimir. That is why we picked some random baby in the hospital. My son wanted to make Adrian pregnant again because he was so afraid that his husband will discover our dirty little secret and he will leave Vladimir. But it never happened. Because Adrian never wanted to sleep with my love struck son again! And my idiot of a son, did everything to prove his love to his husband. Even granting him all the freedom in the world. And by doing so, Adrian met Eric. Poor Eric Montgomery. Nothing personal. He just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time.”

“I- it’s not true.” All his life Gael thought he is the son of Vladimir and Adrian.

“Of course it is true. I can’t blame Rufus for not treating you like his true grandson, because you really are not. You are a nobody. And you should thank me for picking you in that hospital.”


“Y- you used me!” Everything dawned on Gael.

“Yes, but in a good way. Now that you learned the truth, all I want from you right now is to perform the end of the bargain. I don’t want that baby to be with his father or his great grandfather.”

“B- but why?”

“You are in no position to know why! You can have him by yourself for all I care, you can keep him your toy as long as you wanted! Just take him away and never come back!”

“I… I can’t do this! I could not be a part of your evil plans! I hate my grandfather but I could never hurt Jeremy that way! How will I ever gain his love if I will do it?!”

“As I’ve said, and I will have to repeat this again, you could never gain his love! You can have his body but not his love, idiot!”

“S- stop calling me that! I am not an idiot! You used me! I can’t believe I’ve fallen for your plans! I thought you were helping me to prove my worth to my grandfather!” Gael sank to his knees.

“You were so depressed with your situation at home and you are just so perfect for my plans. Remember this Gael, there is no more turning back. You kidnapped his grandson and even if you do right now by returning Jeremy and his baby, do you think Rufus will ever forgive you?”

“N- no…” It is true. Gael knew that. His grandfather will kill him for what he did. It is unforgivable. He knew he is trapped.

“But if you follow my way, then Rufus will not know that you are not his grandson at all. I kept that secret for so long and I believe you also don’t want it to be out soon. As for your consolation, you can keep him. You can even have your own family. You should only know how to train him.”

His own family? Jeremy and him? They can freely have babies? He will have Jeremy all by himself? Gael smiled. Of course it could happen. Jeremy will resist him at first, but he will do everything to gain his love. Hugo is a powerful man. He can bring him and Jeremy somewhere safe. Rufus or Charles will never find them.

Hugo saw the change in Gael’s expression. Just great. Perfect. Now Rufus will be all by himself and he will surely succumb to all troubles in his life. He will slowly die from grief. Now Rufus will truly feel how it is to be left all alone. To have your most loved persons taken away from him.

Jeremy is Rufus’ last straw. After the death of his wife, Gregory and Adrian kept him alive. And now that Gregory and Adrian are also dead, he only have his grandson and great grandson. But he will also take them away from him. He will leave the baby in an orphanage, or even in a trash can, for all he cares. And Gael will take his grandson away. He will never know of Jeremy’s fate, and he will blame himself for all the things that has happened.

“Now I am giving you an option, you either take him away from here, or you let my men feast on him. But before you take him away, I want to watch you while you rape him. And I want to record it. For his grandfather to see and hear.”
“Y- you are so evil!”

“You know you don’t have a choice, Gael. So what is it going to be?”

“I… I will have him.”

“Then you have to take him now.”

“No! Don’t! B- but at least give me some time to talk to him!”

“You can talk to him after I get what I wanted.” Hugo said as he entered the room. Gael was no longer able to stop him.

Jeremy is lying on his side, facing the other side of the door. Obviously, the boy is asleep.

Hugo went near the boy and is about to touch him when. “Don’t touch him!”

Jeremy was awaken by the noise and he groggily sat up.

“H- Hugo?” He had the biggest surprise of his life.

“Yes, darling. It’s me and no one else.”

“W- what is the meaning of this?!”

Gael just stood in one corner unable to say something. Jeremy’s eyes traveled from one man to the other.

“Let me think… T- that I am a part of all these? Well, actually, that I am the mastermind of all these?”

“B- but why? I… I don’t understand why?!” Jeremy is becoming more nervous. Why is Gael’s grandfather a part of this? How? What did he do to them?

“My dear boy, you just happened to be one of the perfect target. You just happened to be your grandfather’s grandson. That’s all. Now, Gael, as what we talked about earlier.” Hugo said as he looked at the other man.

Gael stood hesitant for a moment. “Hugo… p- please…”

“You know what will happen if you don’t do this, Gael. Do you want to consider the other option?” Hugo said as he took a chair next to the bed.

“No!” Gael started to open his trousers.

“G- Gael, w- what are you doing?!” Jeremy suddenly felt so afraid. His right wrist is still manacled to the bedpost and he knew he can’t get away.

“I- I’m sorry, b- but there is no other way. I… I will make it up to you. I promise.” Gael said begging for understanding.

“P- please! Please don’t do this!” Jeremy pleaded.

“I- I’m sorry.”
