David put the picture away and he made his way to his mom dirty clothes in hand. He knew that whoever sent the picture was playing a prank on him. There was no way that he could have a sister that was around his age. That would be impossible. David threw his clothes on the cart and made his way to his mom who was now in the living room.
“I put the clothes in the cart mom. So when do you want to go to the laundry mat?” David looked at her as he waited for an answer. She looked as if she was in another place. “Mom?” David called out. She snapped back and looked at him.
“Oh I’m sorry honey. We can go in a few minutes just give me a minute alone please.” David reluctantly left her there in the living room. His mother sat there and she was looking at a letter. Her eyes watered as she re-read the letter. She ripped it up and threw it away.
“No this is wrong. It can’t be.”
“Dad I don’t want her here.” Kimberly said. Her father looked at her and smiled.
“It will be okay honey. I know that you are scared of me going back to drugs. I know that I just stopped recently cold turkey and I can go back to the drugs but your mom is here for a reason. I told her to come.” Kimberly looked at him all confused.
“After all the things she did to us you want her back. Are you crazy?”
“Listen I love your mother and I will need extra help if I want to stay clean. It is hard honey.” She got up from the bed with force.
“She will not help anything she will make things worst. I hate her for what she did to you and more for what she did to me. If anyone found that out it could ruin me.” He looked at her and smiled.
“That was the past and none of that will come to light so don’t worry. We hid it this long and it will stay hidden.” Kimberly rolled her eyes and left the room. Her father sat there on his bed. He looked over at a picture of Kimberly.
“Even if we have to kill someone to keep it hidden.”
Amanda and Carl had brought the decorations for David’s party and now they were on their way to Theresa’s house to take her the stuff. Carl began to get a little light headed. He stopped and sat down.
“Are you okay?” Amanda asked him. He put the bags down on the ground.
“Yeah I just feel really light headed.” Carl shook his head and got up.
“Maybe you should just sit for a minute.” Amanda told him. Carl shook his head no.
“I’m okay I just need something to eat that’s all.” Carl knew that he needed to eat a lot. Since that day when he thinks he saw his father he had not eaten the way he should have been.
“Okay so let’s go get something to eat then.” Amanda pointed to a Burger King that was across the street. They made their way over there.
Brian threw the stuff on his bed and made his way to the kitchen to see if there was anything that he could make. There was some cold-cuts and some bread left. He took the cheese and ham out the fridge. Then he took out the grill and placed the pieces of bread on the grill. Then he placed the cheese and ham on the bread and waited for everything to get done. He made his way back into his room. He looked around and he noticed that something was weird. His television had been moved. He went over to the television and he noticed something on the floor. It was a piece of paper. He picked it up and looked at it. It was folded so he decided to unfold it and see if anything was in it. There were words written inside. His eyes widened as he read it.
“I KNOW WHAT YOU BEEN DOING AND IT MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH. KIMBERLY AND ALL YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS WILL FIND OUT SOON AND YOU WILL BE ALONE WITH NO ONE. EVERYONE WILL HATE YOU FOR PLAYING KIMBERLY. TRUST ME YOUR TIME IS COMING.”
Brian looked around and wondered who it was from and how they knew his secret.
Liam sat at his computer and wondered if he should turn it on or not. He decided to check his myspace account. There he was staring at the screen as he waited for the computer to start up. He signed into his myspace account and he noticed that he had a message. He clicked it opened and it was from someone that didn’t have a picture. He read the note and he began to panic. Tears also began to fill his eyes.
“THIS IS A NOTE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I KNOW ABOUT YOUR MAN. NO NOT BRAIN BUT THE ONE BACK HOME. I ALSO KNOW WHY YOU LEFT AND WANT TO NEVER GO BACK. THE TRUTH IS A FUNNY THING. IT’S EVEN MORE FUNNY WHEN IT COMES OUT AND PEOPLE ARE LEFT ALONE AND BROKEN. SO ENJOY THE THINGS YOU HAVE WHILE YOU CAN CAUSE ONE DAY YOU WILL GET IT.”
Liam tried to reply to the message but the person blocked him. Liam signed out and he felt sick to his stomach. Who knew his secret?
