"Into a world where darkness reigns. The powers of a king are absolute and the powers of his people are granted by him. There is another in this land just as powerful as he but, he is all Gates power." A black robed man stood before masses of gathered demons below. Up on high was a circle of stones with one specific part covered by black material. "Today our king follows the old ceremonies. He grants you all the chance to see whom he has chosen to be his eternal queen. Together, he and she shall reign supreme over the land of the Ninth Gate."
There were creatures of all sorts. Pit fiends were let out. The masses of his land equaled into the multi thousands. Very few were Entropy, but that hardly made a difference. All were still his minions, and soon they would become hers. All knew of the king 's Trinity , but most had never gotten a chance to see her. This would most likely be their one and only opportunity.
In the palace somewhere she was pacing. Trinity sighed and straightened the black robes again. They had the same dark green trim that Zanhmere's had. She was to be his mate so she should bare the same robes of stature amongst the people.
"What's wrong, Trinity?"
"Cassandra?" Trinity turned away from the mirror. "I…guess I am nervous."
"I can see why. This is important." She smiled. "They will all finally get to meet you."
"Am I really that well known?"
"The people of this place have heard of you ever since you were brought here." Cassandra walked over and helped her to adjust her robes. "I wanted to talk with you first."
"About what?"
"How much do you really know about this place?" The demon, in human guise, started to help pull Trinity's hair back. "You do know this is a land of demons right?"
"Yes." Trinity nodded. "Zanhmere showed me last night. We had a long talk about things. I was so angry at first. I wanted to hurt him but I couldn't. There was that part of me that loves him that wouldn't let me."
"I gather that he has told you things he thought you should know?"
"Yes." Trinity sighed. "I...also miss Missiva. No offense. You have become a friend over these past few days, but Missiva was...just..."
"I understand. She helped to raise you." Cassandra smiled. "She was the closest thing to a mother that you had."
"Yes!" Trinity faced her fully. "I wish she could be here, but she can't."
"I think she wants to be but because of what she has become, she can't." The demon woman nodded. "I am sure she will visit you soon."
"Do you think ..." Trinity's stomach was in a knot. "D…Do you think It will hurt?"
"Only for a little." She stroked Trinity's cheek. "It will be something you never forget. Zanhmere wants all to know you. This is a very ceremonious time for all our kind here." She smiled. "I have a little friend for you to meet. I meant to bring him sooner, but he wandered off."
"Really?"
"Yes. This is Critter." She motioned and the bat winged creature cat came walking in. "He is a bit of a free spirit but I thought you may like to meet another friend that came around."
"Mreow" The cat jumped to a chair. "Mrow."
"He is cute." Trinity smiled. She reached and touched the cat's ears lightly. "In an odd sort of way." She chuckled. "I would have never thought there were others like this here."
"We come in all shapes and sizes here." Cassandra grinned. "It is a good warning, so you don't get out there," she motioned with her hand , "a nd feint because of what you see. I know I did when I first saw this place."
"You mean you were not born as you are?" Trinity sat on the chair beside the cat. It was relaxing to sit and pet it. "As a demon?"
"No." She shook her head. "I was punished to this by higher powers. When I was changed I was left with my emotions intact. It was meant to keep me down, but I don't really think it has."
"So you don't want to be here?"
"I wouldn't say that." Cassandra chuckled. "I met Mayven and you. I know our king and I get to see the inside of the palace. Being as I am, it is a little different , but I look at i t as another twist in my life. My punishment could have been a hundred times worse as well, so I consider myself lucky."
"Do you remember your past?" Trinity leaned back. The cat crawled into her lap and laid down. "Your family?"
"I remember bits and pieces. I have forgotten most of it over the years." She smirked. "As young as I am, I am older than you."
"I hardly think demon years count when compared to my years." Trinity smiled. "You are very pretty anyways. I don't think you could look old if you tried."
"Thank you." She sat down and looked at the girl. "It is so wonderful to actually be able to talk to someone without the use of words like kill, blood and or other things." Cassandra shook her head. "It is good to be able to understand someone."
"A few days ago those words might have bothered me." Trinity shrugged. "Zanhmere told me about my family." She sighed. "I guess it helps that I don't remember them, or I would be more upset that he killed them."
"I don't think he really expected to meet you when he was off doing that." Cassandra leaned forward and held her hand softly. "I think that when he met you, it was supposed to happen though. You came along and brought him an inner peace."
"He doesn't show it to anyone else around here."
"He never will, either." The demon smiled. "That is just who he is. Just like Mayven is who he is. We can't change them, but we can love them."
"I know." Trinity smiled. "I have always loved him. I think it is love, anyways. I only ever had Missiva to teach me about such things."
"She did a really great job." Cassandra stood. "Come on. We have to get you going."
"Oh." Trinity sighed and placed the Creature cat aside. "I am nervous."
"It's a natural thing to feel. Just put your trust in the king to guide you." She grasped Trinity's hand and pulled lightly. "Come on now. Take deep breaths and think relaxing thoughts."
"My heart feels like it is going to beat completely out of my chest." Trinity followed her slowly. "What if they don't respond well to me? What if he has to do something or…"
"Trinity." Cassandra shook her head at the girl. "Think of it as a wedding. He is going to be with you no matter what they think. It is all of our jobs to accept you. I know they will because I do."
"You're different."
"Not that much. I have changed since I got down here. Before? No, I wouldn't have liked to receive a pair of eye balls. Now? I really think that is a sweet gesture." She grinned. "I hope Mayven gives me some, actually."
"You know? This feels really weird as a topic. I never really thought about things like this ever." Trinity smiled. "I mean I am human. I am not a demon."
"You're a special human."
"So I guess that makes us both different."
"I guess so." She smiled. Cassandra led her down the hall. "Our differences make us stronger."
"Oh." Trinity gasped. "Zanhmere."
He stepped out and was wearing his black and green robes. His dark hair was brushed back and his robes were tied neatly. He looked very formal right now, and very handsome.
"Here she is." Cassandra smiled. "She is all yours."
"Trinity." He held his hand out to her. "Your people wish to see you."
Trinity took a long, deep breath and nodded. She reached out and grasped his hand. Zanhmere pulled her into his arms and hugged her. He could feel how nervous she was by the tenseness of her body. She sighed against him. He could always make her relax like this.
"You're cheating." She smiled and looked up at him. "You know I like to be in your arms."
"I know." He smirked and looked up at Cassandra. "Why don't you go find Mayven and make sure he isn't getting himself into trouble."
"He better not be. I'll kick his bottom again." She waved as she walked by. "I'll see you out there."
Trinity giggled and nuzzled in against him. Zanhmere stroked his fingers through some of her curls and chuckled.
"What?" Trinity looked up at him. "Something make you laugh?"
"Nothing about you." He touched her cheek softly. "I was just thinking about Mayven and Cassandra. She really did kick him to get his attention."
"Really? I thought that was just a little joke."
"Mayven said she kicked him quite hard. It brought him to his senses." The demon king started to walk with her in hand." He needed it. That demon woman has been looking after him for a while."
"You two seem like friends." Trinity walked beside him. "You seem more than ruler and subject."
"We are, in a way." He nodded. "We have an interesting history together."
"Oh?"
"Yes, but that story can wait for another time. This day is about you, remember?"
"I know." Trinity smiled. "Can't fault a girl for trying, can you?"
"No, I can't." Zanhmere chuckled and lead her through the doors to the outside. This was probably the first time she really ever saw the lands beyond the palace doors.
She gasped at the city all around them. Most of it was red and black stone. She could see the masses of people gathered in the distance.
"You aren't still mad at me are you?" He asked. "About …you know."
"Not anymore. I was. I can't lie to you about that." She looked at him as they walked. "I was very upset but...it meant a lot to me that you told me the truth."
"I had to tell you. I felt that I needed to inside. You make me feel all kinds of strange things." Zanhmere nodded. "Only you make me do it, too."
"I guess that I will learn all about Entropy and be able to understand in time." Trinity leaned up against him. "Although I am still not sure about doing...well, you know…that…in front of people."
"They won't even see us." He smiled. "We will be under a cloak of covers. It is mainly just for show. That, and I want them all to see my Trinity."
"Just as you are my Zanhmere." She looked up at him. "My Zanhmere, whom I love."
"You're going to bring out jealousy in all those demon women aren't you?" Zanhmere chuckled. "You are a little fox."
"Well, I can't help that they want you. I won't share. That is a definite thing there."
She nodded to a few demons as they walked past. Trinity was getting looks. For a human, she was attractive. Even an Entropy could not deny this. Their feet carried them closer and closer. Trinity's arm tightened around Zanhmere's more and more the closer they got.
The black robed man by the stones bowed deeply to them both. He was in his human guise, as were all here. This was something Zanhmere told them to do. Trinity may know about them being demons, but she was not ready to see everything all at once. He wanted to bring her into the aspects of his world slowly.
"So here goes." Trinity took a quick breath. "Is that man a demon priest or something?"
"Never really thought about what he was. He always just kind of did it." Zanhmere shrugged. "I should probably ask one of these days."
"Silly." She smiled. Her smile was soft, kind and gentle.
It was enough to make the demons that watched gasp. This was their kings favored pet? They expected some form of demon woman. Regardless of their surprise, they would not show or be upset. Zanhmere could wipe the lot of them away with a motion of his hand. Mayven was right about that part of him. He may be different with Trinity, but that did not change how he was as a king to his subjects. They were his minions, and he was their master.
"This way." Zanhmere was leading her to the small stone center that had the black curtains around it. "These curtains have hid the mating of the past two demon kings before me."
"D…Do they really hide it?" Trinity was still nervous. She didn't really want her first time to be so public. "They won't see us?"
"I said this once. They won't see."
"Sorry." She looked down. "I …"
"You don't have to say that. I was speaking, that is all." He smiled and opened the curtain to reveal very plush padding. "Here we are."
"Yes." Trinity took one last look around. "Here we are."
"Trust me." He picked her up. She made a half squeal when he did. "It is time to make you my queen."
Zanhmere's grin was wide as she moved behind the curtains with her. Trinity was heard behind them for only a moment before the sounds died away. They were together. They were doing what was most sacred between a man and woman when you loved each other.
“Zanhmere.” Trinity smiled up at him. Her hand caressed along his cheek as he lowered slightly. “I want to say something..before we start.”
“You can say anything to me, my sweet Trinity.”
Zanhmere adored her. She was his purity in an otherwise corrupted. Black world. Everyone else here would not hesitate to stab him in the back, but not Trinity. She was his, completely. Trinity felt the same about him. Even if she knew nothing else, that didn’t matter. She regretted nothing about her life with him. He had always taken care of her and he always would.
“I want to ..I want to say that I love you. You don’t have to say it back. I know emotions are new to you. The words aren’t important as what I feel from you.”
“But I do know love. It exists in you.” He kissed along her neck. His tongue tip gently grazed over her skin. His warm breaths trailed. “Your love only makes me a stronger king.”
“You’re just saying that to make me smile.”
“I would never just say something to you.” He leaned up, pulling gently at her silken robes. “Anything I say, I mean with every part of me. You are a part of me and even the gods or Satan him self, could not stop me from hurting anyone that tried to harm or take you from me.”
“You have never spoken to me like this before.”
“Because I had to learn inside.” He laid her robes aside. Her bare body lay before him. Her curves, her red hair. Everything was perfect and it was all for him. “Do you want this? I ask again..because...I want you to truly want me.”
She gasped quietly. His whispers kissed over her lips and her hands gently brushed along his sides. She wanted him. She wanted him more than she could say.
“Master..” She leaned up, kissing him deeply.
The word sent shivers of pleasure throughout his body. He gladly returned the kiss while disrobing. His black robe fell next to hers. Only their bare skin touched. There was no turning back for her now.
His hands found her hips and he grasped firmly yet..with a gentleness that made her love him so much more. He was her everything. He was her master. He was her mate. He was her forever.
“Master!” She gasped louder than before.
“My..Trinity.” He moaned, kissing the side of her neck. “My sweet..Trinity.”
His hips pressed to hers and she trembled. His member found it’s way into her passion. Where once a block was, his length replaced. It made her body tremble as he took her for this first time.
“Nghh!” She cringed at the pain.
It hurt but she wanted him. She could bare it. Zanhmere slowly withdrew his length, only to bring him self back with in her sweet treasure. Yes, slowly at first. He didn’t want to hurt her. She took quick breaths and he brought his hands down to her legs. They wrapped around him in a sweet embrace.
“Z..Zanhmere..” She panted his name through quick breath. “Master..” She cried out.
“Trinity..” He couldn’t hold back anymore.
His body had to feel her in every way. With demon strength he began to pound him self within her treasured walls. Trinity screamed out in pleasure now. It made Zanhmere smile knowing that their first time would always be their every time.

"It is about time." Mayven chuckled. "I knew he would take her, you know."
"Oh you did?" Cassandra turned to look at him. "Since when did you know?"
"Ever since I saw the way he looked at her that first time." Mayven pulled her into his arms. "Just like you, when you looked at me. You just knew you wanted me."
"You are a confident one." Cassandra let her hand slide along his chest. "So, I guess we just wait?"
"Yes." Mayven nipped at her ear tip. "I have my other duties being tended for now. It means I can spend this whole evening with you."
"With me, the whole kingdom almost, and the Master." She grinned. "Which I do agree on one thing."
"What is that?"
"Trinity will make a good queen for him."
"Well said." Mayven stroked her cheek lightly. "Very well said."
"You know me. I always state what I feel." Cassandra licked over his bottom lip. "Guess that is just how I was made."
"I am learning that slowly."
"Yes, you are." Cassandra chuckled and sat down. She pulled Mayven down with her. "We might as well get comfortable. Our King has about six human years of 'frustration' he is working on."
"I seem to recall going on into the early hours with you." Mayven wrapped his wings around her. "I also know that you enjoyed every minute of it."
"Yes, I did. I bet Trinity is enjoying herself too." She leaned back against him and sighed. Her own wings were tucked in neatly so they were not in the way. "This will be something she does not forget."
"Probably not."
"She was nervous about it being in front of everyone." She peeked up at him. "I guess I can see where she would be. It is a human quality to be shy about those things instinctively."
"I don't think she is too worried about anyone right now." Mayven's ears flickered forward. "I can't hear everything, but I can say she sounds..." He hmm'd. "She sounds as if she likes it."
"The word you are looking for is happy."
"So many words to describe the same feelings of satisfaction. How is it you didn't go crazy before?" Mayven grunted. "You are either pleased, or you aren't."
"Oh hush." She chuckled. "You are an absolutely silly man."
"Not trying to be." He blinked. "I'm not."
"I love you." She reached up and pulled his head down so she could kiss him. "Evan as difficult as you are."
"Being difficult is what I do best." Mayven growled and kissed back softly. "That is just what we Entropy like to do."
"I know that one all too well." She winked. "Now hush. They could come out quicker than we expect. It is her first time."
"Oh yeah. She also isn't a demon. Her stamina is only so much." Mayven chuckled. "I forgot."
"You are impossible."
"You said that to me once before and kicked me." He growled lightly. "You going to kick me again?"
"Maybe later."
"Promise?"
"Yes." She hugged him, and then turned her attention back to the black material that was covering a large center stone. "I promise."

"And thus ends another tale , my friends. Trinity and Zanhmere, the demon king and queen. Their lives started and ended together in their own forever. It just goes to show you how small the world can be, hm?"
A familiar human-guised bard tipped his hat. The long feather ticked the nose of a child in the front. The girl giggled and patted at the feather. They were all gathered under a tree and sitting in soft green grass. This is where their bard friend liked to sit and tell his tales.
"Mr. Puck?" A girl with blood red hair raised her hand. "What happened to them all?"
"You mean Trinity, King Zanhmere, and the rest?"
"Yes." The girl smiled. "Did they …well…I mean…what happened with them?"
"Trinity and Zanhmere ruled on high over the demon kingdom with their faithful friends Mayven and Cassandra at their sides."
"Really?"
"Yes, children." He stood and brushed his cloak off. "Now run along home. The evening hours begin. Remember to open your windows and your hearts. The hour of fairies draws near." The human-guised bard chuckled. "They come to carry your dreams and wishes away."
The children clapped and almost all of them left, except for the one little girl. She stood and approached the bard man slowly. Her blood red curls dangled cutely over her cheeks.
"Mr. Puck?"
"Yes, child?"
"My name is Missiva Zans." She smiled. "My daddy gave me this to give to you. He said one should always pay a compliment to the storyteller." She held out a gold coin.
He smiled and took it in hand. The bard bowed once again. This time it was to just her. The girl smiled and ran off to a black haired woman that was waiting just on the hill. She had on a beautiful white dress that complimented her angel soft skin. This was the girl's nanny. The two left, hand in hand. Puck smirked and then he turned to face you.
"Tis Puck again." His human guise melted away to reveal the Pointed eared mischievous elf. "Wishing you all a happy end." He grinned and tapped the computer screen with his finger. "May your dreams be carried away on whispers. May the laughter of children fill your ears."
He steps back now and gives you, the reader, a bow.
"Remember, Not is as it seems and not is ever as it appears. This is Puck bidding you fare well for now, until the next time." He fades away, leaving only remnants of his magic in the air for you to find.
