Well, my laziness has ultimately bitten me in the ass. I've been distracted and very lazy about writing the next chapter, but I did finish about half of it. Unfortunately there was a mishap with my computer that resulted in me losing all of my most recent files that I never got around to backing up, including this story. If I had actually dedicated some more time to it I wouldn't be typing this now.
Retrieving most of it won't be a problem obviously, I can cut it from here, but the half-chapter I already did is gone forever as far as I know. So it's probably going to take considerably longer for the next update as I try to remember exactly everything that I wrote and try to recreate it.
I guess this is more or less saying that I haven't quit on this story and that I do plan on finishing it. There will probably be about five more chapters left at least, not including the one I have to redo. So sorry for the delay. As frustrating as this is, I'm not giving up.
