One month later, Torina Mountains

Avinash sat beside the coal heater he positioned near his work table that was lit by several candles and covered in various documents with a well of ink and a few quill pens handy. The red naga had his long hair down to help keep him warm and he was wrapped in thick, wool blankets over the many layered robes he wore. He took one of the rolled pieces of parchment up in his hands, breaking the indistinct wax seal and unfurling it to read its contents. It had been delivered to him discreetly by one of his most trusted soldiers who had gotten it from a carrier hawk sent from Gehenna. He had been receiving and sending various messages in this way over the past few months since he had been in Beseine, keeping King Aadesh abreast on all of the goings on of the war against the Celestials, as well as keeping a close eye on Akai. He still hadn’t found any links to the Grey General’s death, though from one of Pria’s reports it was suspected the man’s sudden unexplainable death was due to a highly toxic poison and not merely natural causes. His golden eyes scanned over the letter then and he paused a moment, surprised by what he was seeing. The letter was written by Aadesh himself and Avinash knew the letter would need to be hidden and eventually burned when he was done with it to prevent anyone else from reading it.

It has come to my attention that something is amiss and I believe there are those who want to see me and my trusted counselors dead. The Grey General’s death is likely related and a few of my spies have sent me disturbing reports as of late. I have received whispers of treason and some say there is an underground rebellion brewing. I want to know what these rebels hope to accomplish and who is behind it. I must know who is involved so I can weed these traitors out before they can act. I need you, my cunning Avinash, to dig a bit deeper and find anything you can. For now, I am bolstering my most loyal troops in case of any uprisings. I expect a report from you soon if you’ve seen any of your men or Akai’s men, or any of the Beseinian troops acting unusual even in the slightest. You’ve done well thus far; don’t fail me in this new task.

The letter had been unsigned, but Avinash knew the King’s writing well. A knot formed in his stomach and he took a long moment to absorb what he had read and he began to wonder if the King was merely being paranoid. He imagined that by being in a supreme position of power the King had rightful cause to be concerned about possible threats to his power. There were plenty of ambitious demons that would love to sit on his throne and command the massive armies Aadesh had. Avinash was curious what the rebellion could possibly be about and who would be foolish enough to dare go against King Aadesh. He wondered if anyone among his or Akai’s troops were involved, or any of the demons he had met while he was in the city of Beseine. He sighed then and took a deep breath. There was already enough to worry about with the war going on against the Celestials that invaded their lands. The last thing he wanted to worry about was treachery against his King. Avinash was sworn to protect him and serve him loyally for all of his days as his father had once done, but he couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed. The King wanted a report and he had nothing new to tell him. There was nothing unusual in the slightest… except perhaps Akai’s behavior since that angel had been captured. He had tried to shrug it off as nothing, but certain events kept nagging at him. One event in particular even angered him.

He was furious over the five dead demons whose heads were mounted on spikes outside the caves, sending a gruesome warning to all of the other troops. They had raped the captive angel, but Avinash still could not get over the fact that Akai had slain them for it and taken the winged creature known as Raziel to be his personal slave. The way he saw it, it was war. Men were fighting and killing, and often sexually frustrated after months away from their wives or slaves, so the rape of prisoners during war was not unheard of. He would not deny that his men were out of line to have gone and raped the angel captive, but Avinash was still stewing over their deaths. He wished Akai would have simply reprimanded them and let him deal with their misbehavior. He would have found other ways to punish them and make sure it never happened again, but Akai had not given him the chance. Instead he looked like a fool in front of his men and a poor example of a leader. Next to Akai he seemed inept at keeping his men under control. He hated it, but kept silent about it, always bowing down to Akai in submission as the white naga maintained control over everything and everyone.

Avinash had also found he was jealous and perplexed over Akai’s decision to take the captive angel as a slave, as if Raziel was just like any demon breeder to be mated with and cared for. It was obvious there was anger in Akai’s tone when he informed Avinash of his decision as well as reprimanding him over what his men had done. Avinash couldn’t help but wonder if Akai was angry simply because of his soldier’s blatant disobedience, or if it was because Akai had developed some sort of feelings for his captive. Avinash was well aware that the basilisk was fucking the pretty blonde creature and he had noticed that when they were off-duty Akai spent less time with him and more time with Raziel. One evening he had even gone to see Akai, only to have heard moans and gasps of passion coming from his chamber, echoing out into the cave. He didn’t have to see it to know what was going on. Yet Akai would not share his bed or spend nearly the amount of time he used to spend with him. Avinash hated how the basilisk was always using his jaw injury as a convenient excuse not to lay with him, even when Avinash was feeling more than up to the task of having a good romp in the sheets.

Even stranger still was the day Akai had decided to take Raziel outside. Avinash had found Akai face down in the snow after a few of his scouts had found him, bleeding with a badly broken arm and multiple other wounds, including a broken nose. He could tell there had been a fight and when Akai had finally come to, Avinash had learned that the basilisk had been attacked by that hulking blonde angel he fought that had gotten away. He had learned that the angel was named Gabriel and that he had been Raziel’s mate, so he was not surprised that the powerful male came back to find his partner. He was, however, surprised that Akai lost the fight. It seemed very strange when all Akai would have needed to do was take off his blindfold to subdue Gabriel. How he could let the angel nearly kill him and escape with Raziel was beyond him. He had never known Akai to make mistakes or be bested in battle, and his slip-up had the red naga more than a little suspicious. Why Akai even took Raziel outside of the cave was highly questionable and Avinash wondered if somehow he had planned to let the angel go.

He shook his head then, knowing it would do him no good to speculate on such things. He rolled the letter back up, then pulled a small key out from a drawer in his desk. He made his way over to a locked chest at the back of his cave-room, opening it and slipping the letter inside before locking it back up and covering it with a few extra folded blankets, concealing the chest well. It had been over a month since Raziel had escaped and Akai had been recovering from his injuries. Avinash had done his level best to take care of him and aid the medics however he could, and to his relief the basilisk had been recovering quite well. The red general was grateful that Akai had not been killed, despite his mixed feelings for him. The fact he had been jealous about Raziel was enough of an eye-opener. Avinash knew he had developed feelings for Akai despite knowing that he was nothing more than a friend with benefits to him. He was certain Akai did not feel much affection for him, especially during those cold nights he spent in his room alone. It hurt, but he tried to shove the pain aside and tell himself he didn’t care. When he returned to Beseine he would at least have Soma. Though he was fairly certain Soma would forever hate him for the things he had done.

A frown found its way onto Avinash’s lips as he thought about his slave and the way he had been laying in a puddle of his own blood, nearly dead the last night he had been with him. It was his fault, he drove Soma to run away and harm himself with that annusi flower. Every day he was away from the incubus he worried about what Soma was doing and how he was faring at the Garden. He wondered if the little incubus missed him at all or even thought about him. He often thought about finding a new home for Soma, though he wasn’t sure there would be anyone willing to take him that could handle his willful personality. He closed his eyes, full of mixed regrets at having ever purchased the pleasure slave without knowing what he’d be getting into. Soma was so beautiful and he needed to be doted upon and pampered, he was not like Kalim who could be strong and obedient for his master. Soma thought he was privileged and special, and Avinash knew that after he had him punished by Akai the pale breeder would never be the same again. It was as though he destroyed everything that Soma ever was. All he ever did was hurt the breeder and traumatize him when all he wanted to do was love him and treat him right. I need to stop thinking about him. I have work that needs to be done. He thought to himself as he got up and headed out of his room to head to Akai’s. He felt a bit lonely, though he would never admit to it. He was hoping Akai would be in the mood to keep him company.

When he made it to Akai’s chamber, Avinash noticed the basilisk was not there. He entered the room and sighed, wondering what Akai was doing away so late in the evening. They were both off-duty for the night and he was certain he’d find the white naga relaxing or reading a book. He decided to wait then, figuring Akai would likely return soon. He noticed some papers on the white general’s desk and curiosity got the better of him as he slithered over to have a look. Now and again he would go through some of Akai’s documents so he could keep tabs on the goings on of the war and Akai’s battle plans, it was simply a part of his job to know what the basilisk was up to, though he had never found anything out of the ordinary or suspicious. He was certain Pria’s accusations that Akai had killed the Grey General were wrong. As he looked at the various papers he didn’t think he’d find anything of interest until he saw one in particular that caught his eye. It was folded and had strange letters on it that made no sense. Avinash reached down to carefully pick it up, unfolding it to have a better look at its contents. The page was full of more nonsensical text written in ink.

“What is this…?” He mumbled to himself, wondering why Akai would have a letter that looked like scrambled words. It wasn’t in any language that he could recognize. Carefully he refolded it and set it back down exactly the way it had been, making sure Akai would not know he had been snooping. He made his way to the basilisk’s bed then, getting comfortable as he continued to wait. The King’s letter came back to mind… word of traitors and rebels among their own people. Could that strange letter of garbled words be related? Was it some sort of secret code? His brows furrowed at the implications of Akai being involved. He didn’t want to believe it, but he couldn’t simply write off everything he had noticed about the white naga. From taking Raziel as a slave and bringing him outside where he conveniently escaped… to that strange letter, Avinash strongly suspected something was up. Akai was likely keeping things from him and the red naga felt slightly anxious as he waited. He would have to write a letter to the King about what he discovered. Perhaps Aadesh would know something about it.

The past month since Raziel had 'escaped' had been a perfect misery for Akai. He had underestimated Gabriel and overestimated his own ability, despite knowing that hand-to-hand combat had never been his strong suit. After so many years of never losing a battle, he supposed he had grown cocky. That hulking angel had been a harsh wake-up to his own capabilities and Akai rarely had to learn a lesson more than once. Avinash had been the one to find him lying in the snow and he was frankly surprised to be alive, but assumed Raziel was behind the fact that he still breathed. Not that he had been entirely grateful for the fact when he had woken up. His medics were the best to be found in Aadesh's armies, but even with all their skills the healing had been a hard process. It had taken days for them to set all the delicate bones in his broken wrist and repair his face, but it had been accomplished. Not flawlessly, however. There was a small bump in the ridge of his nose where it had been broken and his arm was still restrained to a sling. It would be another week or so yet before it was healed and he could begin exercising it. He was considering brushing up on his close combat skills as part of that exercise.

The one upside of spending so much time as an invalid was that it allowed him time to catch up on his correspondence. The delicate plans he had been working on were starting to come together, but there was still so much work to be done. His work in Tuelo was hardly progressing at all. The atmosphere there was just too oppressive, too much like Gehenna. Yeshe and several other agents were doing well in establishing a foothold in Beseine, from what the noble had written him. Verik, assisted by one of his former students, was earning him support in Ruskovin as well as running the hidden colony in Akai's absence. Everything was going smoothly and the knowing his blood was being carried on someplace Aadesh would never reach it was an added bonus. Impregnating the celestial had been more than just a pleasure; it had been a stroke of luck. The foolish creature would birth and raise his child, requiring nothing from him. He would have at least one heir for sure, if Kalim failed to provide him with one.

Akai thought of the slave often lately, eager for their tour in the Torina Mountains to end so he could return to the breeder and get started on that child he wanted as well as a few other things. He had decided he would spend the six months they had free teaching the slave a few things that would be necessary should things go wrong and perhaps bringing him to the colony. The latter was dangerous, however, and he still wavered on that decision. Every time he took the trip, he risked discovery and the last thing he wanted was for all that hard work to crumble because of a lapse in judgment on his part. If there was one thing he was never lax about, it was keeping the hidden colony well hidden.

While he was mulling over the choice of where to summer with his slave, a motion outside the window caught his eye. A large white owl swooped towards him and he watched silently while it came to land before him on the sill. He pulled a bit of meat from his pocket, feeding it to the large bird so he could tie his own letter to its leg as it ate. It took off again when he was done to carry the letter to Yeshe in Beseine who would pass the message on to Verik. He stood there, watching until it disappeared into the sky before turning and heading back to his room. It was late in the evening and he still had more correspondence to go through. A sigh escaped him at the thought. Maybe he would just do it tomorrow.

“Avinash.” It escaped him before he could stop himself, caught off-guard by the sight of the other naga in his bed. He quickly regained his composure, however, as he entered the room. He went to add a few more coals to the heater that was burning low before turning back to the general with a smile. “What a pleasant surprise.”

Avinash gave Akai a lazy smile, looking quite comfortable as he reclined back against the pillows and rested his arms behind his head. "I came for a little visit, but you weren't here so I decided to wait." He said smoothly as the tip of his tail flopped side to side. He kept his face a perfect mask, not daring to ask Akai about where he was at such a late hour or why he had a letter written in garbled letters. He could not have the basilisk know he had been snooping. "How's your arm? Should be ready to come out of the sling soon. You can spar with me to help get it stronger. I'll go easy on you, I promise. For now though, I was wondering if you'd like to pass the rest of the evening with your other sword buried in my sheath." The red naga smirked, knowing he was being quite blunt, but he was sorely lacking in sexual intimacy, especially since Akai had been fucking that angel and then became bedridden for much of the month. As he was healing up there was no rolling in the sheets to be had.

"So you did not really come to see me, just my cock?" Akai smirked, raising an eyebrow. He was not that surprised to see Avinash waiting in his bed like this. He had been rather neglectful of the young general and like many young men, the red naga had a lot of energy to burn. Obviously it had not occured to the youth that a handsome soldier was an option when one was at war. Or perhaps he was practicing some sort of strange sort of fidelity by only sharing Akai's bed. Whatever the reason, Akai was not terribly in the mood, but he preferred that Avinash remained loyal to him. If that meant indulging him now and then, he could make the sacrifice. "Well, I suppose you went through all the trouble to come here and make yourself comfortable, I could let you see him."

Re: Hell (eiji)

Avinash chuckled, giving Akai a toothy grin as he shook his head. "Well, you are attached to your cock so I am technically here to see both of you." He jested, amused by the idea that Akai's cock was the main entity and Akai himself was merely a part of it. The red naga sat up then and started to undo the belt to his robes, then he let the layers of fabric fall open just enough to reveal a long line of his toned muscles and belly scales. His cock was still nestled safely in his sheath and he reached down to slide a finger inside, lazily rubbing his cockhead in circles. "I think that angel had spoiled you. When he was here I didn't get any special attention, even after my jaw healed. I'm spoiled as well, and I've been waiting and waiting for this."

He got up then and slithered over to Akai, letting his tail wrap around the end of the basilisk's as he moved in close and wrapped his arms around the white naga. He leaned in to kiss him, knowing he was being brazen to make the first move, but he felt a strange sense of entitlement all of a sudden. He refused to let Akai simply forget him and treat him as if he was just a toy; fun to play with for a while, but easy to discard and replace with a new one. "I need you." He purred, unable to help himself as he pressed his body up against the other demon's.

Ah, there it was. Avinash had been jealous of his little tryst with Raziel. Akai smiled, even more pleased by the words that followed. As long as Avinash continued to need him, then he had control. He kissed the younger naga back, turning his body to keep his arm out of the way. "Were you jealous of that little toy? He was just a novelty." Akai shrugged, "And I suppose I was a bit lonely to have a breeder...If anything, I had been spoiled by having Kalim. You've experienced how nice it is to sink your cock into a nice, wet breeding hole."

He pulled Avinash back to the bed and laid back on it. "Come here, lover. I'll need some help getting out of these clothes." He murmured, running a hand down Avinash's taut belly until he reached the cock sheath. Akai slid a finger inside, dragging his nail across the other naga's cockhead and then teasing the slit. "Help me undress and then I'll make up that neglect by sucking your cock."

Re: Hell (eiji)

Post by Butler Eiji on May 11, 2012, 12:42am

The red naga sighed into the kiss and gazed at Akai's blindfolded eyes as the naga asked him if he was jealous. It was fairly obvious, and Avinash felt a strange sense of relief when Akai told him that Raziel was nothing to him. "Well, I can understand... breeders are quite nice, but you didn't even share that one with me." He said with a small huff, however what came next quickly erased that train of thought.

Avinash was more than a little excited at the prospect of having Akai suck him off, and his cock already started to swell and peek out of his sheath from the little teasing strokes of Akai's nail a moment earlier. Eagerly he followed the basilisk back to the bed and his hands worked practically of their own accord to undo the tie that held Akai's robes closed. He carefully worked the naga's clothing off, gentle around his healing arm as he slid the thick robes over his shoulders until they pooled around him. He drank in the sight for a moment, always finding Akai exotic and incredibly handsome. He was especially fond of the tattoo that wove up his torso, bright red flowers and deep green vines. Whoever had inked it was truly quite skilled. His eyes then traveled back up to that handsome face that he had grown so fond of, even with the little bump in his nose. It gave him a bit of character, Avinash thought to himself.

He then shrugged off his own robes, feeling the cool air on his skin and getting goosebumps for a moment as he adjusted to it. The coal heater would still take a bit of time to get the chamber warmer more to his liking, but Avinash was not concerned by it. Soon he and Akai would be making plenty of their own heat. He reached down and started to stroke his cock, coaxing it to harden until it was at its full, proud length. "It's sad when you can't even recall the last time you had someone such your cock." Avinash laughed, waiting for Akai to get to work as he caressed the head.

“Did you forget you have an army of loyal soldiers who are here only to follow your every command? There was nothing stopping you from ordering one of them to suck your cock.” Akai pointed out with a soft chuckle while he watched Avinash stroke himself. “Many of them would be more than happy to do so. I recall a certain young lieutenant that was in my army who was thrilled at the prospect of sharing my bed not so long ago...”

The basilisk leaned forward, his lips parting to allow the head of Avinash's cock between them. His tongue delicately traced the gentle contours of the organ over and over again, drawing new patterns in the dark flesh with each pass. Occasionally he sucked at the tip, his lips pursing around the head before he went back to that soft teasing with his tongue. He was intent on tormenting Avinash, of making the man sweat and tremble with want and reminding him just who it was that could give him what he wanted. It was a subtle slavery, but effective nonetheless.

"Ah you see, that is just it. He is thrilled at the prospect of sharing your bed, no one else's." Avinash grinned as he spoke about himself and his particular situation. "I just don't think any of my soldiers could satisfy me as well as you do." He grinned, watching as Akai leaned in to begin teasing his cock with that deliciously hot mouth of his. Seeing the great White General of Gehenna in such a position made his cock twitch and thrum with anticipation and a bead of precome was already forming in the tiny hole at the tip. His lips parted and his mouth fell slightly open as the basilisk went to work, yet his ministrations were not quite enough for Avinash to lose himself completely.

Every stroke of that tongue sent a shiver of delight up his spine and made him draw shallower breaths, craving more and more attention to his cock. It almost made him forget everything else that had been going on. He reached down, letting his fingers run through Akai's soft hair and caressing his scalp as he worked. "You're quite good with your tongue." He complimented, knowing that Akai was toying with him and not giving him exactly what he wanted. He wanted to fuck his face and feel the demon suck on him hard and coax the seed from his balls. He could only take so much of this gentle foreplay.

Akai pulled back and looked up at Avinash. He licked his lips before speaking. “Thank you, but I have a feeling that you're not quite satisfied.” He smirked, reaching up and gripping Avinash's cock in his hand and lightly stroking it. “Maybe if you ask me very, very nicely...”

Avinash couldn't help but smirk down at the basilisk, knowing that he loved these little games of control and power. Even in bed he was always very dominant and Avinash had to submit to him as though he were a breeding bitch. Yet he didn't mind; the pleasure gained from acquiescing far outweighed his pride in some circumstances. "Oh please Akai, suck me until I come. I can't wait much longer..." He said almost jokingly, although he was partly serious. He did need release and he wasn't sure he could take too much teasing before the sexual frustration built to a climax of its own, a less than pleasant one.

Akai raised an eyebrow, less than impressed by Avinash's attempt at manners. He paused in his stroking while he considered whether or not he would finish the other naga off as he wanted or not. In the end he decided to give the younger demon what he wanted; he did not have the energy to play a long game. The idea of getting off and then falling asleep sooner rather than later had more appeal. He leaned forward again and took Avinash in again, this time sliding nearly the full length of the naga's cock past his lips. His head bobbed as he worked, sucking and stroking Avinash's thick cock.

Avinash was glad that Akai continued what he had began, feeling the tension melt away as he enjoyed himself more and more. The motions of Akai's head back and forth made the sensations mount higher and higher until the red general couldn't hold back any longer. He gave a ragged breath and grabbed Akai's horns as he let out a moan of delight. "Ahhh Akai! Nnnn n-now!" He panted, releasing his hot seed deep into the basilisk's throat, nearly trembling with his effort not to fall over. "So good..." He said breathily, knowing what would come next would feel even better when Akai filled him and rode him into the bed hard. "Fuck me, please." He begged in earnest, needing more friction and more heated pleasure that only Akai could give him. Akai was all he wanted.

Akai was a little annoyed that Avinash grabbed his horns, preventing him from pulling back when the naga came and forcing him to swallow instead. He did not show his annoyance however and simply pushed Avinash back onto the bed. It was going to be difficult to manage with only one arm, having only one hand available to pry open the slit to Avinash's opening. His cock was already hard and ready, slick with its own lubrication from being in its sheath. He did not bother with prepping and stretching Avinash further; a bit of payback for forcing him to swallow his seed. Reaching down, Akai used his thumb to stretch open Avinash's slit and then started pushing his cock inside, grunting with the effort it took. It was certainly nowhere as easy as having a breeder, although it was a tighter fit. Eventually he had himself seated to the hilt in the younger naga and he braced himself on one arm against the bed as he started to undulate his body, slamming his cock into the red naga's tight sheath. He said nothing while he rode him hard, the wooden slats that mattress rested on creaking noisily under the abuse providing all the conversation.

Avinash had a satisfied grin on his face when Akai pushed him onto the bed, noticing the basilisk was being none too gentle with him. He had a feeling it was going to be a rough ride and he'd likely be left quite sore, but it would be a good sort of sore. He braced himself, seeing that it would be tricky for Akai to mount and ride him with only one arm to support himself on. The basilisk still managed and the red naga let out a slight hiss of pain as Akai roughly entered him without preparing him at all. His head fell back against the soft pillows and he gasped as the basilisk started to thrust into him hard. His hands clenched the bedding at either side of their writhing bodies; his tail curled around the white naga's intimately. It would not be long before the pain melted into intense pleasure, and the pace Akai set made the red naga break a sweat. "Ahhh! Ahhn nnn!" He grunted out, unable to form words as Akai rode him hard into the bed. It had been so long since he'd been fucked and his body was responding in kind as his cock hardened again and started to dribble more of his seed onto his belly.

Akai's fist curled into the expensive silk sheet under Avinash, his sharp nails tearing little rips into the fabric. Sweat dripped from his body with the exertion, unaccustomed to the vigorous activity after spending so many weeks in sedentary state of healing. His long, dark hair clung to his back, outlining the muscles as they flexed. His tail lashed and twisted against Avinash's and for a moment he could forget that this was sex to keep an ally and just enjoy the feel of the hard body of the soldier under him. Avinash was a beautiful, intelligent man and under different circumstances Akai would have enjoyed calling him lover, friend...but he was in truth the king's dog. As always, Aadesh's taint soured everything worth having in his life.

Akai gritted his teeth, breathing hard as he thrust his hips. He closed his eyes, his head bowed, sweat dripping from his brow. He came suddenly and sharply, the pleasure jackknifing through his body. A soft hiss escaped him while his cock pulsed and emptied itself deep in his lover's heat. He collapsed onto the bed afterward, thoroughly exhausted. His arm ached and he cradled it gingerly against his chest while he caught his breath.

As Avinash felt Akai come deep inside of him he let out his own gasp as his cock gave a hard twitch and more of his seed shot forth. His muscles clenched down on the basilisk's cock through all of their shared pleasure he let his stresses and worries melt away. All of the suspicions and unanswered questions he had about Akai left his mind and there was just the two of them, panting and sweating in the aftermath of their lovemaking. He ran a hand through Akai's dark hair, gently tucking a tuft of it behind his pointed ear. "This is so much better than war." He said softly, gazing at the basilisk with half-lidded eyes. "If all I had to do each day was fuck, eat, and sleep I'd be the happiest naga in all of Hell. Do you ever get tired of it all? The war with the Celestials... the King constantly breathing down your neck to carry out his will across the lands? I feel like we're slaves too sometimes, just well paid." He smirked a little at that notion. "When I retire someday I think I'm going to just travel the world until I find a cozy place to settle down. Cypris might be nice; I hear it's a beautiful tropical island and that the demons there are laid back."

Akai turned his head slightly to look at him in the dying light of the coal heaters. He shifted, changing his position to one more accommodating to his injured arm and turned his gaze up to the ceiling. "And what if I said we are slaves, Avinash? Don't you feel the collar on your neck? All of us...Some of us just have longer chains than others." He sighed and closed his eyes. What he was speaking was dangerous, could even be considered treasonous, but he had a feeling Avinash would say nothing. If anything, this could serve as a test of loyalty. Who did Avinash truly serve? "Even if you run away to some tropical island, your chain will be right there, rattling behind you. We'll always be slaves as long as things stay as they are. Freedom will only come with change and change will bring restoration."

Avinash couldn't help but find Akai's affirmation of the way he always felt somehow comforting. They would both be in trouble for speaking of the oppression they lived with from their King. He was loyal to Aadesh, but only because he was born and raised to serve him. It was never the path he wanted for himself in life, but his father saw to it that he'd be chained to King Aadesh's feet. Being his spy was taxing at times, and being his general was even more-so, though part of him did enjoy fighting. He was good at it at least. Yet Avinash just wanted to settle down with Soma or even with Akai and just enjoy life. However, nothing was ever so simple. "You are right, but what will bring a change? We've been fighting this war against the Celestials for hundreds of years now. Had I not been born to a servant of the royal court, I may never have joined the army. I had no choice, my father chose my path for me. I wanted to just travel and explore, see the forests of Sahale, or the plains full of exotic animals in Malabo. The King would have my head if he heard me say such things..." Avinash sighed and turned over onto his side so he could face Akai better. "We'd need some pretty big changes for things to ever be better. An end to this war would be a good start, but then the King will likely just go back to trying to bully his neighbors and expand his territory. He can never have enough power. What is power truly worth anyway? You can't fuck it, eat it, or sleep on it. It's not terribly appealing if you ask me."

"There's more to power than what our 'king' does with it, Avinash. Much more..." Akai murmured. "A change is coming and it's coming soon. It's on the wind."

Re: Hell (eiji)

Akai's words made the red naga pause a moment, his growing suspicions that Akai was up to something returning, much to his dismay. He remembered King Aadesh's letter with words of a secret rebellion brewing; perhaps the King was not merely being paranoid after all and the Grey General's death by poison, as well as the unusual coded letter he found on Akai's desk were all somehow connected. Could the basilisk be involved in the rebellion? Being one of Aadesh's most esteemed generals certainly would give the demon the power he'd need to take down the King from within. Was Akai truly part of this change that was soon to come? The basilisk certainly didn't hold back in showing his disdain for their service to Aadesh just then.

The red naga knew he was treading on delicate ground, but this revelation would make him have to choose loyalty to the King, or loyalty to Akai and his secret cause. Should he somehow get mixed up in the basilisk's plans and wind up learning more about the rebellion, perhaps even being thrust into it, his treason would have dire consequences. King Aadesh had warned all of his spies that treason will not only lead to individual punishment, but it would destroy entire families. He remembered a time when one of his soldiers broke down and spouted curses about serving the King. He was taken for a coward and a traitor, then locked in one of Aadesh's many prison camps along with his family to starve and do heavy labor. Avinash knew in his position as a war general, the punishment for treason would be his death as well as the death of his mother and siblings. His entire family would perish and that thought made his heart grow heavy. He knew he could never choose between Akai and his family's lives, even if his feelings for the basilisk were strong.

After his moment of hesitance, he finally spoke. "Hopefully a change for the better. I want that tropical vacation."

~~~
Iruka poured Yeshe another cup of steaming jasmine tea as the demon Lord chatted amicably with a few other noblemen. Guancho was at a nearby table, eying them as usual and looking almost green with envy as Yeshe showed so much interest in the blue breeder. Their plan had been slow going, but the results were exactly as the old Ruskovin demon and Yeshe had planned. The seed of lust and desire had already been planted in Guancho and Iruka sensed the time was coming when the man would want to be alone with him for the evening. The way the disgusting, fat merchant looked at him and licked those greasy lips sent a shiver up Iruka's spine and made the fur on his tail stand on end.
"Thank you Iruka, you brew the best tea in all of the Garden." Yeshe said, buttering the breeder up and making Iruka's cheeks darken.
Iruka knew it was all an act, but Ozai had been growing more and more concerned that Yeshe was truly considering buying him for his own. He had tried to quell the feeder's fears without telling him what was going on, but it was still difficult. Iruka's time with Yeshe was cutting into the time he would be sneaking off to be with Ozai, but it couldn't be helped. "Thank you kindly, my Lord. However, I didn't do anything to make the tea taste so wonderful. I did not pick, dry, and blend the herbs; I merely steeped them in boiling water." He feigned a chuckle, trying to look humble and bashful. A conversation about tea could not be more boring in his opinion, but he kept his thoughts to himself.
Yeshe smiled then and slid an arm around Iruka's shoulders, pulling the little breeder against his side and letting that arm move over his back. His hand eventually found Iruka's rear and he gave it a nice squeeze through the breeder's violet kimono. There had been a lot of petting and groping, anything Yeshe could do to make Iruka more appealing to Guancho. Now and then the demon lord would glance in the merchant's direction, catching his gaze from time to time. He seemed especially interested whenever Iruka played his erhu. He leaned in and gently whispered into Iruka's pointed ear, "Soon."
Another week had passed and the appointment was finally made. Iruka saw Guancho's signature in the book and his stomach tied itself into knots as he prepared for his unwanted guest. It was an evening appointment and Iruka knew the fat man would likely be sharing his bed all night into the morning, much to his dismay. He had put on a short pink and white floral yukata with a ruffled white mini skirt underneath. Any bending at all revealed his silky white panties and the bulge of his package. His hair was done up in an elegant updo, braided and looped with long curly strands sticking out and hanging down the sides and the back. Flowers sewn from colored silk were carefully placed among the braids and he dabbed a touch of his favorite perfume on his wrists and neck as he sat at his vanity table. He wished he would be entertaining Ozai and not that boisterous sleaze of a demon, but at least he'd soon be done with it. He had a kettle of tea set beside the little oil burner ready to go, and the vial of powder concealed in a jar with the tea. He had planned it out in his head for the past several weeks how he would carefully pour the powder into the man's tea without him seeing it. When the knock finally came at the door Iruka's heart nearly crept up into his throat as he got up quickly to answer.
"Ah, greetings my... my lord." He wasn't certain what title to give the merchant since he boasted and acted as though he was a nobleman. "Please, come in!" Iruka bowed his head politely and held the door aside for the demon, waiting for him to enter.
Guancho was a beast of a demon much in the way that the ruskovin had been, but in a much more unpleasant way. His bulk filled the entire doorway and his belly bulged so far out it strained the front of his expensive silk robe. He was bald with a row of short, blunt spikes running down the center of his head, starting at his brow and going all the way down his back. His eyes were narrow and small, the color of mud and his nose was upturned, giving him a rather piggish appearance until one reached his wide, fish-like lips. His arms and legs were layered with heavy muscle that added to his bulky visage and his dimpled skin was a ruddy brown that was covered in large dark freckles. He glowered down at Iruka for a moment before pushing past him and sitting at the table.
“Bring me some wine, bitch.” He demanded, his voice a coarse growl. “I need at least four bottles and make it quick. I paid to be serviced the entire night and I'm not going to waste it waiting for you to move.”
The sight of the un-comely man in his doorway made Iruka's stomach lurch a little and the way the demon moved past him and spoke so rudely made the breeder bristle with anger, though he dared not show it. "Right away my Lord." He said ever so politely after he closed the door. He gathered up four bottles of wine from a wine rack, not surprised the fat demon would be such a glutton. He set the bottles down on the table and grabbed a corkscrew to open the first one. The breeder then poured Guancho a tall glass, handing it to him in a graceful fashion as he'd been trained. "Please enjoy the wine, my lord. You flatter me with your company this evening." Iruka looked up at his hideous face, keeping his own a mask of indifference despite his anxieties. He had hoped the demon would want tea, not wine. He wondered how he'd managed to get the powder and mix it in his drink. Perhaps when the man was drunk he could do it without making him suspicious...
Re: Hell (eiji)
Post by onichan01 on Jul 10, 2012, 1:22am
Guancho drained the glass in one gulp and set it down for Iruka to pour him another; apparently he was not one to savor the fine wines brewed at the Garden. “You're not really much to look at, are you? For a whore, you're one of the less attractive ones. Even that one with the third eye has got some hips on him! You're like a stick. And blue. What the hell kind of color is blue for a slave? Look like one of those damned Ruskies.” The large demon snorted and drained his glass again. “There must be something good about you though, if that picky snob Yeshe is always requesting you.” He sneered and picked up his glass, this time taking a more reasonable sip.
“Get up on the table and take off your clothes, whore. Let's see what you have to offer.” Guancho demanded, slapping a hand on the aforementioned piece of furniture. “I hope you're at least shaved. Nothing less attractive on a slave than a pair of balls. Not like you need them for anything, eh?”
Re: Hell (eiji)
Iruka did his absolute best not to show how put-off he was by the large demon as he insulted him over and over, picking at everything he was insecure about. "I do have Ruskovin blood in me, my lord..." He said a bit meekly, always cursing the fact he was blue and many patrons at the Garden didn't visit him because of it. When Guancho told him to undress and present himself on the table, Iruka did as he was bid. He stripped out of his yukata and skirt quickly, already knowing that Guancho wasn't into slow enjoyment of anything. Once his clothes were aside he got onto the table on his hands and knees at first, then he turned to sit in front of the fat demon. He spread his legs and gave Guancho his most seductive look, though inwardly he would rather pleasure a sack of worms than this creature. "I'm sorry that I still have my balls, my lord. The Gardeners didn't see a need to have me cut, but I assure you I am just as good in bed as any of the slaves here. I will make this night memorable for you." He said softly, reaching down to caress his inner thigh and try to make himself more enticing to the demon. If everything worked as planned, Guancho wouldn't remember anything. "I am also told I make the very best cup of tea in all of the Garden, if you'd like some with your wine." He added, hoping for an excuse to begin the brew and slip in the drugs.
“Fool, who drinks tea and wine together? You're not too bright, are you? Che, I suppose you don't have to be smart when you spend all your time on your back.” Guancho sneered. He leered at the blue breeder, looking him over. He drained his glass and poured for himself this time. “Well, you at least look like you'll be good and tight. You must not get a lot of use, aside from Yeshe, eh? And I doubt that little man has got much more than a twig between his legs.” He laughed at his own joke heartily, spilling some of the wine on the table.
“Well, since you're going to service me all night, why don't you start by loosening yourself up for me? I'm going to have every hole you have, bitch.” He smirked at Iruka and started to untie his own robe, revealing his rotund belly as it fell open. “Put on a good show for me, slut, let's see you work those worthless holes of yours.”
Re: Hell (eiji)
Post by Butler Eiji on Jul 10, 2012, 10:29pm
"I-I didn't mean for you to drink them together my lord, just... later on in the evening perhaps, after your other appetites have been sated." Iruka said quickly, trying to save face, though the demon was insulting him so much it didn't seem that anything he said or did would help him be in Guancho's good graces. The demon was vile and cruel; Iruka was beginning to doubt himself as the anxiety of impending failure began to creep into his gut. What if he never had an opportunity to drug the demon? He'd be used and suffer through the evening to no avail, and all of those weeks of careful acting with Yeshe would all be for nothing.
Iruka forced himself to stop thinking of his doubts and mustered a smile, feigning a laugh at Guancho's joke and feeling the wine splash his thigh a bit as it puddled on the table. "I am sure you are much larger and stronger than Lord Yeshe." Iruka used his most seductive tone, slyly looking the fat man over and wondering where his cock was hiding under his huge apron of a gut. The blue breeder knew that flattery usually worked on sick, perverted demons like Guancho. "I'm so hot for your cock my Lord. You are right in that I don't get a lot of attention here." He sighed, sliding a hand down his body and across his cock, moving it lower still and back to his little hole. He wasn't wet in the least and looking at Guancho watching him wasn't helping things at all. He had to pretend somehow.
Think of Ozai. Ozai always makes me hot and wet... Iruka thought to himself as he slid his finger in and started to work it around in circles, then in and out. He closed his eyes for a moment and imagined that he was being touched by Ozai. He let out a small gasp as his touching started to feel good; he could see the redhead's face and imagined the feeder kissing him and licking him down there the way he did so well. "Ah..." He moaned lightly as he continued, sliding in two more fingers as he grew slicker and hotter. His tail curled behind him and finally there was a hot spark and he felt his muscles clamp down on his own fingers as he came for the first time that night. "O-" He stopped himself short of saying the feeder's name, hoping the O would simply be interpreted a moan. "I-I'm ready for you my Lord." He said in a breathy tone, knowing he would have to endure whatever the demon wanted to do with him.
“We'll see about that.” Guancho sneered as he rose to his feet, revealing he was quite proportional to all his bulk. His cock was long and thick, nearly the length of Iruka's forearm and wider than his fist with balls hanging like heavy pendulums between his legs. He walked over the bed and sat on the edge of it, leering at the breeder as he stroked his own cock, fat drops of come pooling at the dark head of it.
“What do you think of this, slut? Bigger than anything you've seen, I'm sure. Does it make that little hole of yours tremble?” He threw his head back and laughed again, his belly shaking with mirth. “C'mere slut and suck my cock. Do a good job of it. In case your ugly blue slit is unsatisfying, you can at least pleasure me with that mouth of yours that Yeshe always seems to be so pleased with.”
Re: Hell (eiji)
Iruka's jaw fell open when he saw Guancho's cock as the demon stood, gaping at the intimidating organ before he realized his mouth was open. "My goodness, you really are massive..." Iruka mumbled, watching Guancho make himself comfortable on the edge of his bed. Just seeing the fat demon sitting on his bed made him cringe and he imagined burning the sheets later. Reluctantly, he got off the table and made his way over to Guancho, kneeling down between his legs and reaching out to take the demon's cock into his hands. He needed both of his hands just to grasp it and he feared he wouldn't be able to fit much of it in his mouth. The thought of even tasting it made Iruka want to lose his dinner, but he tried to think of Ozai again, knowing the feeder was the only one he wanted and the only one that could help him get through the night. The blue skinned breeder then ran his tongue over the dark tip of Guancho's cock and worked the tip into his mouth, swirling his tongue around it and doing everything he knew to try and please the foul demon. It took all of his willpower not to gag or bite Guancho's cock in half out of spite.
Re: Hell (eiji)
“Yes, suck it slut...” Guancho groaned while Iruka worked his cock. It didn't take long before he was panting and thrusting against the breeder's mouth. He grabbed a hold of Iruka's hair in one hand and used it to to pull him into his pace, shoving as much of his cock down the breeder's throat as he could. He groaned and cursed, demanding more and more from Iruka until he suddenly came with a loud grunt. He shot half his load down the slave's throat before yanking Iruka back and spraying the rest in his face. He laughed, amused by Iruka's sorry state.
“That's the best look for a slave, covered in a master's come.” He sneered and pulled Iruka up by his hair as he rose to his feet himself. He turned and threw the breeder onto the bed face down, then grabbed his hips and pulled him up to his hands and knees. Soon the dark head of his large shaft was pushing against Iruka's hole and he grunted as he forced it in. It took some work but soon he had the slave split on his cock and he thrust rapidly in and out of Iruka's tight hole, groaning in pleasure.
“Aaah, you're so tight! You're squeezing my cock just like a good bitch should.” He moaned. His heavy balls slapped against the back of Iruka's thighs as he pumped his hips, riding the slave hard.
Guancho had been none too gentle as he fucked Iruka's face and the blue breeder nearly choked on his seed when he came. He could feel the hot spray of the slippery mess all over his face and he hated it, disgusted and wishing it could all be over. He started to rage in his mind about how stupid he was to ever trust Yeshe and that Ruskovin demon. Why did he have to go through all of this? For a story from an old man? It was all so ridiculous and he wanted to cry as Guancho tossed him to the bed. He used the sheets to wipe his face clean when the demon grabbed his hips and put his thick cock against him. "Ahhh!" Iruka growled into the sheets, finding it painful as Guancho tried to enter him and stretch him to his limits. He gripped the sheets so hard his blue knuckles started to turn almost white and he could not hold back the tears of pain that spilled forth.
The breeder felt as though his flesh was tearing the harder Guancho pumped into him and he prayed it would end soon. Eventually Guancho would have to lay down to relax and he could get that damn vial. There had to be a window of opportunity somehow. "Nghh!" Iruka grit out the faster the demon rode him, feeling nothing but pain and hatred for the pig that rutted him. Iruka wondered for a moment what it would be like to kill the demon. If only the vial of powder was poison, it would be so satisfying to watch Guancho keel over.
“Aaah, yeesss!” Guancho groaned, snapping his hips forward a few more times before still, his cock buried as deeply as he could get it in Iruka while he came again. His balls seemed to have a never-ending supply of his foul seed and soon it was gushing out the seams where Iruka's hole was still stretched tight around his cock. He finally sighed and pulled his cock back out with a loud, wet squish. A puddle of his come came pouring back out and pooled on the bed while he headed back over to the table and sat down.
“Get up bitch, pour me some more wine.” He grunted. “I'll need a few minutes before I can test that little ass of yours. Get me some food while you're at it, I'm starving.”
Re: Hell (eiji)
Iruka was inwardly cursing every moment he had to be pinned under that disgusting pig, feeling the demon haphazardly thrust into him and tear his sensitive flesh. He had tore the sheets with his nails from gripping them so hard and he sobbed silently. He was being raped, but because he was a pleasure slave the Gardeners would never consider it as such, but there was no part of the blue incubus that was willing to be be fucked by Guancho and every moment was a torment. When the beast of a demon finally came inside of him, he felt his stomach lurch. He didn't want Guancho's seed inside of him, and for the first time in his life he was grateful to be infertile. Iruka let out a gasp once Guancho finally pulled out, knowing he was likely bleeding. When he looked down, the come pooling on the sheets was pink from mixing with it, confirming his suspicion. The sight was horrible and Iruka quickly grabbed a clean edge of the sheet and impulsively began wiping himself down as best he could.
It wasn't long before the demon was barking orders at him again and Iruka didn't hide his glare of rage. "Yes my Lord." He said sharply, feeling more than a little bitter as he limped over to Guancho's side and poured him another glass of wine. When the demon mentioned his hunger, Iruka knew it would be his one chance to get him to consume the drug Yeshe and the old Ruskovin had given him. "I had some of the servants bring in a pot of peppered lessaril soup shortly before you arrived; it's still hot on one of the burners. I'll fetch you a bowl, my Lord." Iruka then made his way to the table where he had the burner for the tea kettle and the jar with the tea herbs concealing the tube of powder. Beside that was another oil burner plate with the flame low, keeping the large pot of soup hot. Iruka moved in front of it to block Guancho's view, quickly slipping his hand into the jar and grabbing the vile of truth powder. After he ladled some soup into a large bowl, he dumped the entire thing in and stirred it well so the demon would not detect it. The entire time his heart was pounding hard in his chest. He was nervous and also excited that soon he could finish this awful task and be done with Guancho.
The blue incubus then carefully carried the bowl of tainted soup over to Guancho, and for a moment he entertained the idea of spitting in it to make it just perfect for the vile demon. He managed to refrain. "Here you are my Lord, please enjoy it."
Re: Hell (eiji)
Fortunately for Iruka, Guancho missed his his tart attitude. His self-centered tendencies worked in Iruka's favor this time and he didn't notice the breeder doing anything suspicious while serving up his soup. He finished his glass of wine and took the bowl of soup from Iruka and sipped it directly from the bowl, dribbling a little of it down his chin.
“Aaah, well that's the one good thing about this place. The food.” He smirked as he finished off the soup and demanded another bowl. He drained four before finally deciding to go back solely to the wine. He emptied bottle after bottle, forcing Iruka to suck his cock again before he dragged the breeder back to the bed again to make good on his threat. He worked Iruka over a few more rounds, taking his breeding hole twice more and finishing in his ass before he finally collapsed into a big snoring heap. He lasted just long enough to make Iruka change the ruined bedding and kick the breeder out of his bed. His bulk took up the majority of it anyway, there would have been barely enough room for Iruka to squeeze a leg onto.
Re: Hell (eiji)
Post by Butler Eiji on Jul 12, 2012, 6:29pm
Iruka had never felt as filthy as he did when Guancho had finally finished with him. When the rotund demon finally fell asleep, the exhausted breeder took some time to clean himself up using a washbasin full of water and some clean rags he had in his room. He was so sore he could sob; his breeding hole and anus were quite torn up and worse for ware. His throat was sore as well from the demon fucking his mouth and he wished he could slit the demon's throat as he slept to get back at him, or perhaps tie him up and fuck him with the poker for the coal stove, then kill him nice and slow. If it wasn't for Yeshe and his old friend, and the fact the Gardener's would likely put him to death for murdering a patron, he'd act out those impulses right then and there.
Instead the blue incubus grabbed up a piece of parchment, a well of ink and a quill pen. He settled in beside the bed, wincing as he sat on a cushion. Even that wasn't soft enough on his sore bottom. Iruka then started to talk to Guancho, asking him all of the questions Yeshe had planned for this night. Amazingly the demon began to stir, the snoring stopped and he seemed to wake up. Guancho answered each question he was asked as if he was in some sort of trance, his beady eyes staring off to the ceiling. When he had gotten all the information he could, Iruka hid the notes and piled up a few more pillows, grabbed an extra blanket and curled up on the floor to sleep. It was uncomfortable and he was miserable, barely able to doze off with Guancho's snores rattling the air like thunder all night long.
Two weeks later...
Iruka sat at his table in his room, sipping a cup of hot oolong tea as he waited for the old Ruskovin man to visit him and finally tell him the story he had suffered to hear. He hoped it was a good tale, otherwise he was liable to explode in rage for having to endure someone as disgusting as Guancho. For the old timer's sake, it had better be the best story anyone could ever tell. His tail swished across the floor and he tried his best to seem pleasant. He had waited many days before Yeshe was able to get the information to the Ruskovin demon and for him to be able to come out to see Iruka. He wasn't sure why they needed information on Guancho's slave trading activity, and they likely wouldn't tell him why if he asked. It was all quite troublesome and he hoped they wouldn't make him go through that again.
Re: Hell (eiji)
The Ruskovin arrived late in the evening. He was dressed in the same robe as before, but this time he was carrying a large, rectangular object wrapped in black silk under his arm. He said nothing until the door was closed and he stood there, his head scraping the ceiling as he looked around. Then he let out a heavy sigh and gave Iruka a pleading look.
“You have no chairs in this place? Everyone sit on floor and it's killing me!” He groaned. He sighed again and shuffled over the bed, the long, sharp nails on his large feet clicking on the floor. He sank down on the edge of it with another groan. “Aaah, even this is so low to ground...I don't understand how you live this way, so close to the earth. Is good I have Trishka waiting for me back home...He is like fountain of youth.”
The old demon chuckled, setting the package down to his left and resting his hands on his upraised knees. He regarded Iruka evenly for a moment before speaking again. “Is good, what you do for us. That information was a great help...Yeshe told me what you went through to get it. I'm sorry you had to suffer that beast, but you are much stronger than I thought. Perhaps you are more Ruski, eh? Did you know that the Ruskovin are descended from the most powerful warriors that ever lived? Our people are fighters, brave, strong, can endure anything...I see than when I look at you.”
Re: Hell (eiji)
Iruka watched as the old demon came in and complained about not having a chair. A part of him felt sorry for the aging ruskovin, but he had no way to accommodate him and his aching joints. The blue incubus pulled a cushion up to the foot of the bed and sat on his knees, folding his hands in his lap in a demure fashion as he did his best not to roll his eyes at the demon or give a snort. "I hope it was worth it for what I had to go through... I certainly didn't feel like a brave, strong Ruskovin breeder at the time." He said as his magenta eyes snapped over to the box curiously. "Is that a gift for me? And are you going to tell me the story? I also want your name. I at least deserve to know that much, considering how I've helped you out." Iruka couldn't help but be demanding, he felt he was owed so much more than a name and a story. "I don't suppose you'll tell me why you and Lord Yeshe needed that information either..."
Re: Hell (eiji)
“Che, so demanding. You are becoming more and more like Ruskovin as I watch. Before I know it, you'll be nagging me like Trishka too.” He laughed and shook his head. “Yes, I come to tell you story, just like I promised, but I cannot give you anything else. Is too dangerous. If you need to call me something, why not just call me papa? You almost look like you could be one of my own anyway. Now, come here. Sit beside me. Or would you like to sit on my knee like my children do?”
Re: Hell (eiji)
Iruka gave a bit of a pout as the old Ruskovin chastised him, but he could sense the demon was doing it in a good-natured manner and it put him at ease. The old timer seemed friendly enough, though Iruka wondered why simply knowing his name would be dangerous. He wouldn't tell anyone even if he did know. "Fine, I'll call you papa, but I'm a bit too old to sit on your knee. You probably are old enough to be my grandfather too... Actually I should call you grand pappy." Iruka let out a little chuckle at the nickname, getting up and sitting on the bed beside the demon with the large box between them. "So pappy, what's in the box? I wanna see... please? Oh, and the story too of course!" His tail began to sway side to side, his curiosity piqued as he eagerly awaited the tale. If it was good enough, perhaps he'd even forgive the old timer and Yeshe for the whole Guancho thing.
“Grand pappy...Ah, I suddenly feel even older. You are not good to me, little one.” 'Papa' grumbled. He turned and pulled aside the black silk to reveal a large book that looked well past ancient. The leather was so faded and worn that it almost had no texture left to it. The binding was hanging on be a few, fragile threads. The ancient parchment looked as if it would crumble under a whisper and it crackled ominously as the Ruskovin carefully opened it to the first page. There was writing, something that looked like an inscription, but the characters were unlike anything that could be found today. Everything about it looked completely archaic but there was a strange, almost palpable power that came up from the faded ink. It wasn't a frightening energy, but rather benign. Neutral, but great, and it seemed to call to the breeder gently.
“This, little one, is the book of Belial. I imagine you do not know that name; many have forgotten it, which is a terrible crime. One of many. Belial was one of the first of the demons. Did you know we were not always called that? Demons comes from a word in the lost language, Demotonica. It means 'blood of earth'. The legend is that when the Father cut the world, blood spilled from the wound and mixed with the rich soil. Then, with this red clay, the Mother molded the first children and gave them Her breath. However now...now, we are just blood.” He smiled, the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes deepening with the gesture. “I get ahead of myself, however. As I was saying, this is the book of Belial. It his personal record of all of our history, up until the moment of his death. The language it is written in is the basis of our language today, but much more complex. Very difficult to translate. I have been working at this for nearly a century and I am not even a quarter of the way. What I have translated, however, has revealed things, things that will alter everything in your life. Now, I tell you that these words are dangerous. Knowledge, once given, cannot be returned. Think on this, little one, very carefully; do you truly wish to hear the story I have to tell you, knowing full well that it will change your life forever and perhaps not for the better?”
As 'Papa' pulled out the old book Iruka gazed at it quizzically for a moment. He was amazed such an old thing was still held together and he could feel the power radiating from it. He had never seen an enchanted book before and somehow it fascinated him. When Papa began to speak, the breeder stayed quiet and listened intently. He had never heard the name Belial before, nor had he known of how demons came to be. If that book belonged to one of the first demons, it must have been the oldest book in the world. Iruka wondered where the old ruskovin found such a valuable artifact and the more the demon spoke, the more he wanted to know what he had translated from it. He didn't have to weigh the consequences in his mind for too long when he was warned about how dangerous and life-changing it could be. Iruka wasn't afraid and he finally nodded to Papa. "Please tell me, I want to know regardless of the consequences. I can handle it. Besides, I didn't go through all that trouble just for you to show me the old thing and then leave." He smirked, crossing his arms and looking at Papa expectantly. "Please continue the story."
The old Ruski smiled. “Very well, since you have decided to be so brave. We shall go on.” He carefully turned the next page, somehow managing to use his great claws daintily to do so. On the next two pages were sketches. They appeared to be portraits, but the ink was so faded that many of the details had been lost. “These two, we believe, were Belial's consorts. One is named Caine and the other, Astaria. One was the first incubus, the other, his sister, the first succubus. All three ruled together, but we do not know much beyond that. Belial drew these. Not much of an artist, eh?” He turned the page again to reveal more of the strange writing.
“We start at beginning; the way the world come to be.” He spoke, his voice beginning to take on the natural cadence of a scholar tutoring a student. “There are two forces in the universe. One we call the Father; He is pure chaos. He is destruction, darkness, death...but you know, these are not all bad things. Without these things, there is no change. Chaos is what moves, what keeps the universe going forward. Without it, we would stagnate and rot in one place for eternity. The second force, we call Mother. She is life, creation, light, harmony. She is slow; She likes everything to be in its place. She sorts the chaos into something comprehensible, but it takes Her a long time. These two forces balance each other; Chaos keeps the Mother moving and She tempers the Father. Once in a while, these two great forces come together; they must. They are forever drawn away and apart, lovers and enemies at once. When they come together, the Father and the Mother make love. However, it is not children that results. It is worlds. Universes are created through their union. They are like the Father at first, wild and dangerous until the Mother tames them with life.
“Our world was created just like this; thrust into existence from Mother's thighs. Father caught us, lashed us, made us strong. Mother soothed us, nourished us, gave us life. Father cut the earth and spilled the blood that Mother molded. She gave us the breath of life, but Father gave us the spark that would awake us. Thus, the first demons came into existence. These first were given gifts by Mother and Father, as they were their children. Father took a spark from himself and divided it in half. The first half he gave to Caine, who was his closest son. After that, he divided the second half into five and gave four of the smaller sparks to the ones who were second closest to him. The fifth spark he divided again into seven and gave those to the third closest to him. The Mother did the same, but She gave the first half to Astaria, who was Her closest daughter and so on. Belial, who was first among them all, was given a whole spark from each. He was not greater or less in either. As he was their most cherished child, They also gave him one more gift; the power of Law. Within him were all the rules the Mother and the Father had created for this world and it was his will that held the world as we once knew it together.”
Iruka began to look incredulous for a moment as the old ruskovin demon turned the pages and began explaining the creation story of the world and all the life in it in more depth. It all sounded so crazy and abstract, and the incubus couldn't imagine how any of it was true. However, he also had no explanation for how anything existed, so he supposed the one from the book was as good a story as any. The drawings of Caine and Astaria were interesting and he noted that they looked quite a bit like demons he'd see today, only a touch more exotic. "So basically these two gods got together for some steamy sex and made worlds, then once they balanced it all out and living creatures came to exist they appointed this Belial and the first incubus and succubus to rule over them? Sounds like a wild time." Iruka looked up at the demon with a raised brow. "This is crazy stuff you know. How do you know this isn't all just some story this Belial guy made up to try and sound like he knows the secrets of the universe? It sounds like he was a ruler, and you know how rulers like to make themselves seem so important... just look at King Aadesh of Gehenna. I hear all kinds of stories about him when I am serving various nobleman in the dining halls."
“Ah, that is true, little on. You have a sharp mind, is always good to question things.” Papa smiled, his faceted eyes gleaming with a mixture of pride and amusement. It was a look he often regarded his children with. “We cannot know for certain what truly happened; this all took place eons ago and all these demons are long dead. They left behind only these words for us. However, there is power in these words...”
The Ruskovin reached out and took Iruka's hand, then pressed it gently on top of the page. “You feel it, eh? Is like...heartbeat. Warm, steady...That is what my Trishka describe it as. Something ancient, but still powerful.” He smiled and looked up at Iruka. “My Trishka and Gretik, they feel it more. I think because they are incubus, their blood feels Belial's call. He had quite an effect on your kind and females. Even though he had most beautiful and most powerful as consort and concubine, he still have many lovers. Thousands, more than any could count.”
He threw his head back and laughed, stroking his beard as his laughter died down. “Aah, imagine what it would be like to be such a man. So powerful and so charming. His descendent has that power, I think.” His eyes twinkled a little and he finally released Iruka's hand. “Is very charismatic, that one. Even turned Trishka's head and he is not easily impressed. I believe you met him once...”
Iruka could feel the power radiating from the pages as the old demon laid his hand upon the book. It was warm and there was he could feel a slight pulse coming from it. It was a bit unnerving, but Iruka was curious as to what else the book held secret within it's extremely old, delicate pages. It was a shame that it was so difficult to translate and so little of it was actually known. Iruka sighed then, he didn't seem to find much amusement on the subject of what a charmer Belial was and how many thousands of lovers he had. He gazed at the ruskovin as he laughed with an eyebrow quirked and a rather serious expression plastered on his face. He began to think that all he went through with Guancho was for nothing more than a fragmented tale from an ancient book and a chance to feel it's power with his hand. Overall the blue incubus was not impressed and a slight frown curled his lips as his mood began to sour. However, he was quickly distracted from his downtrodden thoughts when the Ruskovin mentioned he had met one of Belial's decedents.
"I met one of Belial's ancestors? Who?" His tail began to sway again as his curiosity rose. He thought about all the various patrons he had served over the years, but none of them seemed to stand out in his mind, save for that one awful evening he had with the White General.
“The one that stands out most in your mind.” The Ruskovin replied cryptically. He finally closed the book and carefully wrapped it back in its black silk. He handled it with the same care one would a newborn and he picked it back up once it was swaddled once more. “Since you have been so helpful, I put in good word for you with him. Perhaps he come tell you a story.”
The elder demon sighed heavily and held out his hand. “I have to go, little one. My time is up and I gave you what I promised. Keep this story to yourself; there was a reason why it was forgotten and it could be dangerous for you to know such things. Yeshe will keep an eye on you from now. Is little protection, but is better than nothing. We may need your help again, but don't worry. We are done with Guancho. Now, help this old man to his feet.”
Iruka's brows furrowed then. Akai was the one that stood out in his mind most... the powerful White General of Gehenna with eyes that could paralyze a demon with crippling fear and madness. He always wore a blindfold to cover them and his prowess on the battlefield as a leader and an archer was renowned all throughout Beseine as well as in his own country. If anyone was descended from Belial, Iruka knew it would have to be him. No one else in all the lands had eyes like Akai, nor was anyone as 'charming' as he supposedly was, though Iruka's experience with him was less than pleasant. "I'm not sure I want him to come and tell me a story. He didn't like me very much... I didn't know Lord Akai wasn't fond of being touched by a whore he paid to spend the night with." Iruka grumbled, still embarrassed about how that unfortunate evening played out.
What the old Ruskovin said next made Iruka sigh, growing more and more irritated. He grabbed the demon's hand and yanked to help him up, unable to help himself as he glowered at him. "So that's it? I had to be molested and abused by Guancho just for a story out of some ancient book? I don't feel it's changed my life any either." He huffed, wondering what the big deal was about it. "So one of the first demons to ever live was named Belial and he had lots of people to fuck... how is that information dangerous? How is it even useful to anyone? It seems so pointless."
“I think you like our Lord's story. More than you like mine, I'm sure.” The Ruskovin shrugged and he tucked the book away, in the front of his robe out of sight. “If you knew more about our Lord, you would understand his need for control. Is forces beyond us that drives him and he bears a burden not many could handle.”
He looked down into Iruka's irritated face for a moment, then reached out and affectionately ruffled his hair with a smirk. “You think about the story. It will sink in, why is important. If you figure it out before the Lord comes to visit you again, perhaps you have right question to ask him and he will tell you something that will put the hope back in your pretty eyes.” The elder gently brushed the hair back from the breeder's face and his smile became teasing. “Now, would you like papa to tuck you in before he leaves?”
Iruka felt a little pit of nervousness in his stomach at the thought of Akai visiting him in the future, but at least he'd know that the old ruskovin and Yeshe would vouch for him, and he'd be certain not to do anything to upset the basilisk again. He didn't feel terribly hopeful that anything would improve and as the old timer ruffled his hair he felt a slight pang of sadness. "No thanks pappy, I can tuck myself in just fine." He snorted, stepping back from the old demon and crossing his arms. "I'll think about your story more too, and I promise I won't tell anyone about it. So... uh, thanks for sharing... I guess. If you translate more and find out anything interesting, feel free to come back and read more of it to me." Iruka managed a smile then. The old demon wasn't bad company, and he supposed he could overlook the fact that he didn't get much for his hard work aside from some obscure knowledge of the past, but it was better than nothing at all. It at least sparked his curiosity and made him eager to learn more, if nothing else. "Take care pappy. Say hello to Lord Yeshe for me."
“You can say hello yourself, you are more likely to see him before I do.” The Ruskovin headed for the door, his clawed feet clicking quietly on the floor. “Take care of yourself, Iruka. I would like it if you could meet my family one day and that won't happen if you get into too much trouble. Be a good boy, eh?”
He headed out then, closing the door softly after him and heading down the near empty hall. Even most of the candles were out at this time of night. The elder demon sighed to himself as he left the Garden again and called his carriage up. He wondered how his wife and children were doing; every time he left his wife, he missed him. The breeder had saved him, put him on a good path when he was drifting and had given him something more precious to him than his life; a family. For a man who had been born in the gutter by a whore, he had never dreamed he would have children to spend his days with and a wife to warm him at night. It was only unfortunate that he had not met Trishka sooner.
“So many lost years...” He murmured, looking up as the snow began to fall again. The winter reminded him too much of his former homeland, made his heart ache. However, there was no going back to it. It would only mean death and he had a family to worry about. Perhaps it was time to return to them.
Author’s note: Hello all! It has been a good five or six months since I posted the last chapter, so I am very happy to finally post up another! As you guys know, since this is a roleplay there’s no set pace; onichan01 and I post when we can. It can be a very slow process, but it’s well worth the wait. There is also enough material for chapter 15, but I will hold off on posting it up until next week. I gotta keep you guys in suspense somehow lol Anywho, Enjoy! <3
