Second Chance
Second Chance
I really want to love you,
I don’t know what to do,
I think I might be losing it,
I only want the truth.
Before you used to hurt me,
You even told me not to cry,
Supposed to be my friend back then,
You only made me want to die.
But I know my wounds will heal,
And I’m learning to forgive,
Because you are now the reason,
The one for whom I want to live.
I don’t know if I can love yet,
I’m not completely trusting you,
But someday unless you prove me wrong,
I may find this time your heart is true.
