Jason threw another cup at the wall the sound of metal on stone was loud and vibrating. “Would you please stop.” Devlin said tired of his son’s tantrum.
“Why would Faith do this to me?” Jason asked turning to his father.
“It was not Faith, in fact she is a follower of the goddesses. Maya, and Hecate sent her to watch after Anthea. To keep her from us.” Devlin said.
“We should not have wasted time. We should have just made her one of us.” Jason said coming to stand before his father. “Now what will we do?”
“If one of them turns to darkness or dies then there will be unbalance in the universe. If we can not make her one of us then we will have to revert to the later.” Devlin said. “If it comes to it we might have to kill her. But that will be a last resort.”
“I understand. What I do not understand is how could she keep who she really was from us. I mean we both scanned Faith on a regular basis.” Jason said sitting beside his father.
“She was taught by Anthea to hide her true identity. That was one of her best powers.” Devlin said. “If we can get to her before she can undo the spell she had cast upon her self then we will have what we both want.” Devlin smiled at the idea, his son would father the children of the Maiden goddess while he controlled the universe.
