Okay, it's not as long as I wanted it to be, but here it is. I may even have another one by the middle of the night. I don't want to stop writing. If I do get it done, I'll post it as soon as I finish it. That is a promise.
Enjoy.

“It’s still summer.” Chloe said. “I’m sure everything will be fine.”
“How can you be so hopeful?” My heart was breaking and she was still cheerful. “I found out that I’m adopted, and that the coach is my father. He didn’t even try to find me.”
“Yeah,” in spite of everything she was still trying to find the good in all of this. “Well, now we know that she wasn’t you’re real mother.”
I couldn’t help that a little laugh came out of me. “You truly must be my sister.” She was what gave me strength. “I’m glad I have you.”
“It doesn’t make sense though.” She said thinking about something.
“What?”
“How is it that we were in the same class?” She was right. “I did skip a grade, but our birthdays are so close.”
“That’s because she’s two years older than you.” David said as he sat next to me. “I’m guessing that has something to do with your adopted mother.”
“It wouldn’t surprise me.” It was just like her. “But, that means, I’m 20”
“Try not to worry about it.” He said. “Just be glad that you’re finally home. It’s just like Lily would’ve wanted.”
He patted my shoulder and got up. “Lily,” I said as David went upstairs. “I wondered why I looked like her so much. I looked exactly like her.”
“When did you see her?” Chloe asked. “She was always in here.”
“David showed me that day he gave me advice.” I looked into my cup as a spoke. “If not for that, I would’ve never known. I…”
The night was drawing to an end. All that I found out kept me up. We both went to bed, but I was still up I was also doing a practice the next day. This time it was with everybody. I tried my best to not let it get to me, but everything inside of me was screaming out. I noticed that Nathan wanted to tell me more, but he didn’t say a thing. I guess, in a sense, he was just like my father. He ignored me and my mother, my real mother.
Oftentimes I would glance over at Jim. We were always close in time, but everyone was wondering why he wasn’t doing better. The coach actually yelled at him saying he could do better. He did with me as well. He threatened to keep us there until we did so. Each race we did, I felt a little better. The motivation he used last worked in opposite for me though. I didn’t do any better. I couldn’t because I couldn’t let go. Jim finally had enough of it, and left. He yelled at the coach, and stormed off. He went after him, and something told me to go after them.
“I knew there was a reason why mom left!” I could hear him before I caught up. “How long were you going to keep this quiet?”
“I had to!” He didn’t sound so pathetic. “At first, I kept trying to get her to talk to me again. It was hopeless though. I knew it beforehand, but I still wanted her. But your mother kept pressing me. She was always there by my side. So loving, so caring. I didn’t understand how she could still want to be with me when I didn’t pay attention to her.
“That all changed though. I finally started going out with her. I kept away from Lily, and spent time with her. Even when everyone found out that Lily was pregnant. I knew it couldn’t be David’s, but I kept quiet. I had to.”
“Then why aren’t you together now?”
“Last year she called me up, Lily did.” He quieted down so softly I had to get closer. “She had something to say, but couldn’t over the phone. I couldn’t go back to sleep, and your mother knew. I had to tell her about Lily.”
“Did you,” I spoke up, “did you really rape her?”
He looked at me, and couldn’t speak. He looked at both me and Jim in a short period of time. “Dad!” Jim sounded hysterical. “I can’t believe…” Jim came over to me. “Let’s get out of here.” And we left Nathan to his thoughts. I always wondered what kept him at that spot while we left. It was like his nightmares were keeping him there. And we both left him there. It was no wonder why we met up again.
--------------------------------------------------------
Nathan did his best to keep standing when he heard those words come out of his son’s mouth. ‘I can’t believe.’ He couldn’t believe it either. That in the past he was capable to do those type of things. If he hadn’t done it, though, he might’ve become something worse. After he couldn’t be with Lily anymore, he never did it again. He could’ve easily done it with Eveline, but he didn’t.
If he had done so he would’ve probably been even worse. Being with her helped him, though. He was glad that Lily was pregnant. He wasn’t ready for that, so he didn’t sleep with anyone else. He thought about that often. He brought a life into the world, but he decided to stay away from it, from her.
[“Oh, Nathan,” Ev was saying. “I love you so much”
She kissed him and wished for more. She led his hands to where she wanted them. It was such a good feeling for her. After so long, she finally had him. It took too long in her mind, but it was well worth the wait. She ached for his touch no matter how small. His mouth contained so much heat that it amazed her. And with that heat, he melted her insides. It conjured up a fire deep inside of her reaching for the source of it all; his mouth.
As things were about to heat up, they were interrupted. “Did you hear, guys?” some girls were whispering near them, “Lily’s pregnant.”
“What!?!” The girl that told of the pregnancy shushed her. “How did you find out?”
“She said so herself. You’ll never guess who’s the father though,” She paused for a minute for suspense. “David.”
The group announced their disbelief with battering of what, no way, and you must be kidding. With that revelation, Nathan stopped making out with Eveline.
“Why did you stop?” She protested.
“Didn’t you just hear?” Nathan questioned. “We don’t want to end up where they are.”
“We’re just making out, though.” She wanted so much from him.
“But,” Nathan wasn’t going to give up on this. “we need to be careful, don’t you think?”
“We will.” She said with an erotic look on her face. Then resumed making out with him, until the bell rang. “Darn it! We’ll have to finish this after school then.” She said with a wink.
She ran off to class, and so did Nathan. She was glad she was in class with Lily next. She wanted to find out more about her and David. She knew he had feelings for her, and was surprised to find out Lily liked him too. She also wanted to find some tips to get Nathan in bed. Now that she finally had him, she wasn’t going to let go. And she wanted to make sure he would stay.
The two of them passed notes during class. It was luck that they sat next to each other. The first note contained a simple ‘So, you and David?’
Lily replied, ‘Yeah, isn’t it amazing.’ And ‘How did you find out?’
‘Some girls were talking in the hallway.’ She continued with ‘How did it happen?’
‘Do you remember a few weeks ago when we were running?’
‘Yeah?’
‘I went over to his house that night, and I ended up getting in bed with him.’
‘How did you manage that?’
‘I’ll tell you after class,’ she wrote quickly then hid it waiting for the teacher to pass by. ‘This is getting to close. The teacher will find out.’
So, she waited for the bell to ring to find out. The few minutes left of class were excruciating for her. All good things come to those who wait, she figured. So, when the bell finally rang, they both went somewhere a little private, and talked about that night. She didn’t know that Lily left out all the things pertaining to Nathan. So she figured out a way to get Nathan. It was going to be different, she knew, because Nathan was definitely different than David. She knew she would get him in the end though.
She met up with Nathan afterwards and told him what she found out. He was surprised to find out how it happened, but he knew. David wouldn’t do something like that, even if the woman forced it. He also knew Lily wouldn’t force it especially since what happened between the two. He did have to admit that it was smart of them to announce the pregnancy before anyone noticed. He was also thankful. He wasn’t ready to be a father.]
After thinking about all that happened in the past, Nathan didn’t know what to do. David was kind to him despite what had happen to Lily. He would know what to do. He was always so smart. He did make that plan to make it look like his child after all. And that was so many years ago. He decided to go to David’s, even if he wasn’t welcome.
--------------------------------------------------------
It was strange having a half-brother. It was like he was your brother, yet not your brother. Feelings could come up between them, but you knew it was wrong. Then to have the over at a place you find comfortable, it was awkward. But there he was, sitting in front of me looking around my favorite place. Neither of us spoke, but we were both glad to be there, even if it were awkward.
At least Chloe was there, “Here you go.” She said as she placed the coffee on the table. “It’s good to see you again.”
“Huh?” He looked at her strangely.
“We didn’t have time to greet each other at the mall,” she said sitting down next to me, “but I’m Chloe.
“Oh, right.” He didn’t seem like he remembered. “I’m surprised you remember.”
“Even moreso, since you don’t,” David was behind Chloe, “right?”
“How did you know?” He would still be amazed in future occasions about David’s so called telepathy.
“It’s a gift he has.” I said with firsthand knowledge. “Try not to let it bother you.”
“So you’re Nathan’s son.” He looked at Jim closely. “I think you look more like Eveline myself.”
“I think you’re the first to say that.” He said still with a quizzical look on his face. “Do you know my parents?”
“Since grade school.” He was still standing. “It seems like you act like your father more though.”
“Don’t say that!” Jim said with such passion.
“I’m guessing you heard what he was like before.” He seemed sad. “If it makes you feel better, I can tell you firsthand that he’s changed. I don’t know how, but he has. And it’s that Nathan I’m talking about, not the old Nathan.”
“Please, don’t talk about him.” Jim said. “I don’t even want to see him right now.”
“I’m afraid you’ll have to.” A voice behind David said. “Son.”
“What are you doing here!?!” Jim yelled as he stood up.
“I needed to find out what to do.” He sounded like a man who lost his will. “David’s a good man. He’s also a smart man. I wanted his advice, but to find you here. Why are you here?”
“Because I wanted to be with Samantha!” He said my full name. It was the first time. He sat back down shocked at what he said.
I glanced over at David, and it seemed he had some sort of reaction to that. It was like he had the same thought as me. “Did you want to say something to me?”
“Ah,” he couldn’t finish.
“Stay here.” David said. “Nathan follow me.”
As they were leaving I was looking at Jim. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. There was something there more than just siblings for the both of us. He finally looked up at me and all the feelings came up into my throat. My throat was clenched and I could speak. He was the same, it seemed. We both couldn’t take our eyes off of each other. At that moment I knew, I loved him, and acknowledged it.
--------------------------------------------------------
David, and Nathan looked back to where Samantha was sitting. She was staring into Jim’s eyes. David knew that look. He had seen it many times in his life starting with Eveline. Over the years, he could recognize more readily to the point where he didn’t even have to think about it. It was too much to handle seeing her look at Jim that way, and know that he was her half-brother. David looked at Nathan, and could see he knew too.
Nathan looked at David after seeing something that should never be. Something was up and he knew it. If he hadn’t known that Sam was his, he would’ve liked that his son found someone. He was happy when he saw the two walk in. He thought he saw something between them then, but, when Lily’s name came up, he didn’t know what to do. David had a reason for them to speak alone, and he was going to find out.
--------------------------------------------------------
Tell me what you think. I have my own thoughts about it, but I would like other perspectives. If anyone's still up later tonight, look for another update. If not, it'll be here in the morning.
Enjoy.
