Confusion Sets In and Blocks the Only Light

Apparently my “oh shit” or whoever's it was had been well warranted as I promptly found myself flying through the air to smack hard against the grotto's faux stone wall....Trust me it felt very realistic.

"Dare I need repeat myself?" Bram's voice had dropped to a very low and dangerous level.

He spoke up first. "No Sire. You've no need. I'm not entirely sure what all happened."

Bram's red eyes focused on him. Phew! Not on me for once...however my inner rejoicing was entirely short lived.

"Explain childe...."

Sean looked down at the pool. "After I left to bathe, I came here to find Thad and M- Kitten discussing what his other form looks like....also his ability to heal faster while in that form."

Bram's attentions went to Thad with a raise eyebrow...Thad at least had the smarts to say nothing and keep any and all sheepish or guilty looks off his face. "Oh really?"

Thad grinned crookedly and giggled. "Can't fault me for being curious, agapi mou."

Bram's eyes narrowed slightly, and I almost could've sworn that the corner of his mouth twitched slightly. However the hardness of the rest of his face definitely put that idea to rest.

"That is where you are mistaken....love." Thad looked startled at the tone in his voice. Apparently Bram wasn't falling for the usual lines.

His red gaze feel onto Sean again. "Continue....."

He nodded and spoke up quietly. "Thad told me what all had been said, as I said, and after a few moments Sebastian walked in. Kitten made a comment and Sebastian got pissed and told him he still didn't know his place....Kitten then decided to snap his head back and shortly thereafter you entered Sire...."

Sebastian glared harshly at me and I almost laughed outright. He got everything he deserved.

Bram narrowed his eyes on me....Yeah I guess I really didn't have anything to be laughing about after all.

"What did you say to him, Kitten?"

Fuck. I hardly wanted to explain any of that. I looked at Sebastian. The bastard actually had the audacity to smirk his bloody little smirk at me. Fine who cares....It wasn't like I wasn't already in trouble...may as well up the freaking ante after. After all I wasn’t the one with blood running down my face.

"Does it really matter?" The narrowing of his eyes was answer enough. "Ok then... All I said was that I was going to be very willing to leave the three of them alone…if he would let go of my fucking hair. Seriously what the hell is with-..." Another very dark look. Never mind, then. "Master...."

"So Sebastian you already had your hand in his hair?" Sebastian actually looked surprised at the direction in which this had gone.

"Yes Sire, I did."

"Leave Sebastian. Wait for me in the hall; we need to talk...." Bram stalked slowly over to me and before I could back away, he grabbed a hold of my chin; forcing me to look up at him.

"You had better understand how unwise it is to provoke one of us..... We will chat later about your and Thad's clearly fascinating conversation. Now finish your bath." No sooner had the word bath left his lips than I flew forwards and hit the grotto's pool considerably harder than I deemed necessary. By the time I came up for air Sean had left and Thad was silently smirking and giggly. Bram was also gone....

After a moment I realized that I hadn't been really punished at all. As if reading my thoughts, Thad smirked, "Really, genius? None of us had noticed.... And might I add an I told you so about now?"

Told me so about what? Flopping down against the stone I stared at the now shut door. What the hell was going on?!
