chapter 14
I looked at Mourn once the door was closed and sighed. This wans\'t like me. I faced my problems head on, I didn\'t cower in my room like a sissy. I sighed again and stood. \"The least I can do is meet this Micheal.\"
Mourn nodded. \"Perhaps you would like to change first?\"
I looked at my reflection as he said that. My hair was mussed, my clothing wrinkled. I smiled. \"Yeah, I should.\"
Ding ing had always been easy fro me. I simply put on the first matching outfit I touched. Gray dress slacks and a white button down blouse were what I picked up. I was still used to ratty jeans and torn tee shirts, so it was nice to be dressed well for a change. I ran a brush through my hair and smiled at Mourn. \"All or nothing, right?\"
Mourn laughed and stood, offering me his arm. I snaked my arm through his and lightly rested my hand on his wrist, nodding once. We walked to the door, and he opened it for me.
Liam was talking to Micheal, who had his back to me. He turned as the door opened, and I gasped. Long black hair fell in ringlets to his waist, a startling contrast to his white skin and oh so green eyes. He smiled at me, a warm, welcoming smile, and offered one hand. \"I am Micheal, princess.\"
I shook his head, smiling back. \"You can call me Angela.\"
Micheal kissed my knuckles. \"A pleasure this is indeed, Angela. Shwe swe start your first lesson?\"
By the time Micheal had finished with me, I knew that I was a child when it came to magic. We had gone through the basics all over again, Micheal correcting everything I did. I knew it was nothing personal, that in magic things had to be right, but it was still irratating to be treated as a child. Though I probably was, in comparasion to him.
He walked me to my door, bowing when we reached it. I waited for him to drop to his knees, but he didn\'t. He just stood there, looked at me, a small smile on his face. I frowned.
\"Shouldn\'t you kneel to me?\"
Micheal laughed. \"You have my support, Angela. Why the need for show?\"
I flashed back to Liam hitting Deven, and I copied the move, backhanding Micheal hard enough to split his lip. \"You support me? Then show it.\"
Micheal looked suprised, but did as I said, kneeling to me. I took his throat in my hand, and was tempted to squeeze until the flesh parted from his bones, but I didn\'t. When I finally let go, he looked even more suprised than when I had hit him.
\"You trust me?\"
I shrugged. \"You are a nice guy, from what I saw, and I know you were testing me, to see what I knew. Don\'t do it again. This time you slide. Not the next.\" And without another word, I opened the door and stalked in, shutting it in his face.
I didn\'t see Gabriel had come to pay another visit until he was walking towards me, a huge tray of food balanced in his hands. \"Good day, Angela. Liam and Mourn told me about your practice, so I brought you some food.\"
\"Thank you.\" I sat down, genuinely touched, and took the offered food. I didn\'t feel that hungry, but once I had uncovered the food, I was starving. I bolted the food down as if I had never eaten before, barely taking time to breathe. Gabriel, Liam and Mourn just watched me as I ate, none of them looking very suprised at my appitite.
\"Magic has that effect on everyone,\" Liam said as I polished off the last of the fruit.
I put the tray to one side and stretched, patting my stomach. \"God, I\'m so full, but I feel so energized now.\" I looked at all three of my men and smiled. \"I take it that\'s another effect, too?\"
Liam nodded. \"Now that you\'re back, Mourn and I were going to grab some food for ourselves.\"
Gabriel and I nodded, not looking at one another, smiling at Mourn and Liam as they left. Once they were gone, however, I smiled wickedly at Gabriel. Gabriel returned my smile.
He stood up and walked over to where I sat, picking me up af if I weighted nothing. He bounced me in his arms, once, twice, then made his way to the bedroom.
Once there, he gently laid me down on the bed and ever so slowly slipped his suit jacket off. I raised up on my arms as he bent down, kissing him fiercly. Gabriel kissed me back just as passionately, hands roaming over my body. I was wet and ready for him when he finally pulled away.
I slid out of my clothing as he slid out of his. Scooting back on the bed, I spread my legs as I did so to allow him access. He crawled on top of me, gently nudging my entrance as he rested his weight on top. I wrapped my legs around his waist, and he slid into me, causing me to arch off the bed.
I cried out, tightening my legs and digging my nails into his shoulders as he set up a hard, fast pace. The sound of flesh hitting flesh and my moans were the only noises in the room.
I tiwsted and writhed against him, out of my mind with pleasure. I never wanted theelieeling to end. Heat built up between my legs, the first tingling rush of orgasm slowly filling me. I urged him on faster, digging furrows into his back.
I came with a scream, my body tightening up around his, my back arching off the bed. He came as well, slamming into me one last time before colapsing on top of me.
We lay there for some time, our sweat soaked bodies still intwined, our hearts pounding out the same frantic rythym. I finally pushed him off of me, smiling wickedly. \"I\'m going to take a shower. You\'re more than welcome oin oin me, if you so wish.\"
Gabriel and I were still damp when Mourn and Liam came back with Gabriel\'s guard, Addrienana. She smiled lightly at me as Gabriel stood up.
\"Take care, my princess.\"
I smiled abck at him and stood as well. \"You too.\"
\"Always.\"
I stretched and yawned. \"Ireadready for a nap. You boy\'s gonna join me?\" I didn\'t wait for their answer, I just turned around and headed back into the bedroom.
When I awoke the next morning, I felt...different. I couldn\'t put my finger on it, but I had changed. I didn\'t think anything of it, just headed into the bathroom to brush my teeth.
It was when I was changing that I knew what was different about me. My hands brushed my abdomen, and I flashed on the image of my daughters face as it had benein the dream, beautifully sculpted, with those amazing green eyes. I knew whose eyes they were,w here she go them from. I jumped up and down a few times, laughing, before running out into the bedroom to jump on top of the still sleeping Mourn.
\"What...?\"
\"I\'m pregnant!\" I grabbed his left hand, laying it against my belly, so he could feel the life within me. I laughed again, joyously, and grabbed Liam\'s left hand as well, as he had woken up and rolled over to see what was going on.
Liam and Mourn both smiled at me, hands still on my belly. I covered their hands with mine, beaming. I was going to be a mother.
Mourn nodded. \"Perhaps you would like to change first?\"
