Dirty

This one is fairly short due to the fact that I'm only updating Partners so I can update Sequel. Bad me, Bad, I know.

But I'm tired and had a bad day so I'll do as I please fwahahahahaah.

Who votes for pool sex?

Read, Review and Enjoy.

Mik’s head was still down when the power went out. The man cringed at the thought of Paw throwing something else and missing his target. As in. Paw hitting Mik. A moment later the power flickered back to life and let out an exasperated, annoyed and angry sound.

“Care to explain to me why you just about took my head off?” Mik snapped at Paw as he righted himself.

Paw’s anger turned to pale faced shock. The Sidhe’s mouth worked, open and closed and Paw huffed out several times before bursting into tears and leaping at Mik. The man stumbled back a step and caught himself on the doorframe as Paw babbled apologies.

Souse came into the kitchen warily and looked at the broken counter and at Mik and Paw. Taking it all in before asking in a calm, neutral tone, “what happened?”

“SHE!” Paw huffed and then launched into a Sidhe, shouting at the top of his lungs and waving his hands around as Souse listened and nodded.

Souse looked more puzzled than anything as Mik slipped around Souse and into the kitchen. Mik made a nice, normal tea for himself and Paw and Souse before sitting down and clearing his throat. As if Mik were a part of the conversation, as if they cared what Mik thought, both Sidhe sat at the table as Paw lowered his voice from a shout to a stern talking to. Souse continued to nod and sip his tea, frowning at times and giving the necessary verbal agreement when Paw paused.

Paw talked himself out and left the table, having not touched his tea, and headed for the bathroom.

Souse pressed his lips into a thin line and looked at Mik, then toward the bathroom and back at Mik. The Sidhe’s eyebrows hit his hairline but dropped back to their normal position as Paw came back through the kitchen and left the apartment, presumably heading to the pool for a swim. Mik looked at Souse and picked up his own mug of tea.

“This is the part where you explain to me what that was about.”

“He is insulted.”

“I got that part.”

“That broadcast interrupted all stations, went to all televisions at the same time. Live. And all Paw got to say was, I have teeth. She not only ignored him, but apparently she is at fault for being capable of broadcasting her thoughts. Which. Involved sexual acts with you.”

“Do I come off as a single man?”

“No. But. These were,” Souse chewed his bottom lip, “the type of sexual acts that even Sidhe will not do.”

“… maybe it wasn’t a sexual act, maybe she was just… or she is…”

“She found it sexually arousing.”

“Okay. Disturbed. Very. Very. Disturbed,” Mik shook his head, feeling dirty suddenly, “I think maybe we need some way to show people that. You know. We’re taken.”

“Right. People use metal. Bands around the fingers.”

“Rings. But they denote marriage and mating. Not. Together.”

“Perhaps the women could make a choker or something and you could wear that. Paw as well,” Souse seemed to drift off in thought, “That would make sense. With the program getting ready to accept more Sidhe. For the partners to know who is paired with who and how they are paired. We don’t need any more problems.”

“Any more?” Mik sighed out, “I suppose we have had our fair share of problems.”

“Oh. Essuan is back. The male found … yesterday… is of the Iltuenshianopiactashton tribe,” Souse laughed at the look on Mik’s face at the long name, “War mongrels. He will make a nice addition to the tribe. He won’t be accepted back into his own tribe, as he was left in what is thought, by his tribe, as enemy territory. They will morn his passing and he will take on a new name. Paw will name him, once he joins us.”

“They’ll just abandon him?”

“What are the chances of him ever returning?” Souse shrugged, “Others take those his tribe leaves behind. They make good warriors. Are strong and loyal and of a better quality blood than the average. Most of their tribe can harness power in ways the rest of us have never dreamed of. It is a harsh life, but it keeps the tribe clean and proper. Their loss is our gain.”

“So another new member. How has our mesa been?” Mik murmured.

“It is fine, Lillow has fed it and sang it a few songs and spoken to it in both Sidhe and people, teaching it both languages at once. Numbers and maths and letters. Hohi teaches it the history of his tribe and begins the teaching of plants.”

“So young?”

“Yes. Begun now, but the time the child is named it will be able to feed itself from the trees. By the time of its gender, it will be able to survive on its own. Then quiet time and such on and blah. Does it really matter?”

“I just. Didn’t think that a baby could learn this early in life.”

“They learn a great deal at this stage of life. Like a dry sponge. Fluffs up and sops it all up.”

“Well then,” Mik muttered, “since the mesa is doing so well, I will go take care of Paw. See if maybe I can distract him from Ell’s… dirty thoughts.”
